Il y a des distributions spécialisée, mais il faudrait savoir ce que fait ton "serveur".

Oui c'est juste des habitudes qu'ils ne veulent pas remettre en question.
Objectivement je ne vois pas ce que Ubuntu aurait à envier à Debian pour un serveur.
J'ai été (et suis toujours) pro-Debian, j'ai installé des dizaines de serveur en Debian mais actuellement c'est Ubuntu.
