sudo rfkill unblock all

permanente pour ne pas avoir à la rentrer à chaque démarrage du pc ?

plusieurs pistes (mais sans certitude) :
peut être que tu as manipulé la fameuse glissière du wifi sans y faire attention lors du transport du portable.
peut être qu'une mise a jour, a activer cette fonction.
peut être que ton portable est passé en veille ou hibernation (sur certain modèle cela désactive le wifi)
Enfin dernière piste, et sans vouloir troller (car déjà constaté à plusieurs reprise) : Windows ! En effet ce dernier (soit le gestionnaire de connexion, soit le pilote windows du wifi) à tendance a désactiver le wifi lors de l’arrêt.

ok ; mais ce que je m'explique pas c'est pourquoi cette désactivation logicielle s'est mise en route alors que j'ai rien bidouillé... la seule manip que j'ai effectué c'est essayer de me connecter à une autre box dans la famille et paf !
en tout cas MERCI encore ça va m'éviter d'avoir une maison avec un câble qui traîne partout !
Toutafai je ne résiste évidement pas à la tentation de te soumettre le cas de mon second pc mais je clôture ce fil pour que le forum reste propre.

de rien, mais de la a être une star :-) ...

Bon en fait , les constructeurs de pc inclus des "mécanismes" qui permettent de désactiver logiciellement certains composant comme le wifi, ce qui était ton cas (sony-wifi: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: yes). La commande que je t'ai fait faire a permis d'enlever la désactivation logicielle (quand je dit enlever, je veux dire qu'elle la simplement fait passer de l'état désactivé à l'état activé).

pas de menu de gestion du wifi dans mon bios...
hum je comprends vraiment pas pourquoi ca bloque.
Ca me daille d'autant plus que j'ai un second pc à la maison et que je n'ai jamais réussi à le connecter en wifi sous ubuntu!
Je suis condamné au filiaire

je te confirme que le wifi est toujours bloqué par un commutateur matériel.... et sous windows, le pilote ou la gestion d'energie le débloque...puis le rebloque lors de l'arret de windows.

autre piste regarder dans le bios de ton portable si tu n'as pas une options permettant de forcer le wifi a etre actif dès la mise sous tension

Ce netbook est en dual avec win. Je ne l'ai pas démarré sous win depuis longtemps. Je viens de le faire et une fois les mises à jours faites , le wifi marche sous windows . ???

Pour moi "wireless" signifie "sans fil". Je ne suis donc pas sur qu'il active que le bluetooth, vérifie : arrête ton pc, met ce bouton sur la position "on", allume ton pc, puis redonne le résultat de

salut !

Après inspection du pc j'ai juste un bouton glissière "wireless" qui active le bluetouth mais pas de bouton "wifi"
Je fais des recherches pour savoir si il existe une combinaison de touche par laquelle j'aurai pu désactiver mon wi_fi...

Ton wifi est désactivé ! Tu doit avoir un interrupteur ou une combinaison de touche pour activer ton wifi : Vérifie qu'il est activé dès la mise sous tension du portable.
