J'ai bien déroulé toutes les commandes.
Mais ça ne marche toujours pas...
Quand j'essaye via lpr ou fichier imprimer ou localhost:631, rien ne se passe.

J'ai 2 imprimantes : l'une installée à la main, l'autre qui s'installe automatiquement quand je branche la prise USB de l'imprimante. L'une comme l'autre n'imprime pas.
J'ai une erreur dans http://localhost:631/printers/ :

Il fout convertir le rpm en deb avec ce script !
tu pose les paquet rpm sur le bureau

et tu lance ce script

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install alien
cd Bureau
sudo alien -k cndrvcups-common-2.40-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo alien -k cndrvcups-capt-2.40-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
sudo service cups restart

Pour le kdesudo… c'est sensé ouvrir la gestion des imprimantes mais en mode admin
L'erreur que tu as es dû au ppa michael-gruz qui n'existe pas pour precise: tu peux le virer (j'hésite à te proposer de mettre celui de quantal à la place)

Je pense aussi c'est pour ça que j'ai mit le lien vers les bugs avec ce paquet (il y en a un où passer par system-config-printer -sans kde- semble fonctionner mais je penses que ce serait le cas depuis http://localhost:631 ) Le tien semble être proche de celui-ci si j'en crois ta fenêtre de bug.

Tu as essayé avec kdesudo system-config-printer-kde ?
Le service cups tourne bien?
Pas de blocage de port (firewall…?), de demande d'identification réseau ? (ton imprimante est bien sur le réseau?)

edit: si tu fais tes mises à jours tu n'as pas de message d'erreur?

Bizarre KNetAttach semble lié au réseau
Un conflit d'adresse ?
Si tu lance une impression en ligne de commande (la commande lpr ? ) ça dis quoi?
Tu test depuis «menu imprimante», l'interface cups ou un «fichier/imprimer» d'un texte ? (meme si j'ai pas spécialement de piste, je repensais à ton souci d'ici )

Et en bugs je vois pas grand chose

Du coup je n'ai plus cette erreur. Une de moins. Mais toujours aucune impression qui fonctionne.

Ce qui est étrange, c'est que j'ai régulièrement cette erreur qui apparait quand je branche l'imprimante par exemple, ou lance une impression :

en commencant par la http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/insta … _canon_lbp
puis avec celui la http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/imprimante_canon_capt2

eh ben figurez vous que ca fonctionne ( pas encore avec libreoffice cela dit).

dur a dire parmi ce que j ai fait depuis le debut de l install ce qui a été nécéssaire, superflux, inutile voir compliquant.
ca fonctionne donc avec les driver 64 compilés sur ma machine en version 2.5
je n avait pas reussi a compiler ceux en 2.4 en suivant un tuto en anglais qui indiquait les meme modifs a faire avant de lancer le dkpg-buildpackage.

bref temps d install entre 6 et 8h mais le coup des lib ia32 ... j lavais pas vu venir.
Cela dit je comprends pas trop pourquoi ils sont necessaires si je compile moi meme les drivers.

En tout cas fabux, murex et les autres contribs merci pour ces tutos ce sont les plus complets que j ai vus.

Pour le pb de gnome-keyring je penses qu'il s'agit de ce bug. Pas le temps d'investiguer plus maintenant

Je ne peux pas t'aider beaucoup mais j'avais énormément galéré pour installer la même imprimante que toi. J'avais par contre utilisé le pilote 2.40 puis suivi le tuto de la doc à la lettre mais sous xubuntu, enfin après 4 heures, ça a fonctionné.

Dans mon cas je suis avec une ubuntu 12.04 x86_64
sauf que

$ sudo apt-get install gnome-keyring:i386

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 gnome-keyring:i386 : Depends: libcap-ng0:i386 but it is not going to be installed
                      Depends: libgck-1-0:i386 (>= 2.91.1) but it is not going to be installed
                      Depends: libgcr-3-1:i386 (>= 3.2.2) but it is not going to be installed

Pour remedier a cela j ai installé getlibs

$ wget https://launchpad.net/~jcollins/+archive/jaminppa/+build/1482994/+files/getlibs_2.06-0ubuntu1%7Eppa2_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i getlibs_2.06-0ubuntu1~ppa2_all.deb

Puis gnome-keyring:i386 ( installé ds /usr/lib32 )

$ sudo getlibs -p gnome-keyring:i386

et enfin crééun lien symbolique

$ sudo ln -s /usr/lib32/i386-linux-gnu/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so  /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so

voila, j en suis pas plus loin avec l installation de ma lbp3000
jai compilé les deb et installé les driver 2.5 obtenu la

J'installerais plutôt le paquet en version 32 bits :

sudo apt-get install gnome-keyring:i386

Si je me souviens bien, j'avais la même erreur pour l'installation de ma MP560 et c'est en installant le paquet 32 bits que j'avais résolu mon problème.
