sous Xubuntu c'est effectivement la solution.

Je viens d'installer sur le même pc Ubuntu 12.04LTS.
J'exécute la procédure d'écrite ci-dessus.

après make j'ai la réponse suivante:

salut

sudo rm /dev/rfkill

redemarres le pc
si pas de wifi
vas dans le bios et executes l'option load default settings
sauvegarde le bios et demarres le pc

si toujours pas de wifi
la combinaison de touches d'activation du wifi Fn F2 ou autres,ainsi que le bouton on/off ne fonctionnent pas avec certains pc fujitsu-siemens,medion,acer,il faut installer le module acerhk
branche un cable reseau pour avoir internet et tapes ces commandes dans le terminal

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cogito-16/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install build-essential acerhk-source

sudo -s

cd /usr/src/

tar -xjvf acerhk.tar.bz2

cd modules/acerhk

make

make install

modprobe acerhk

echo 1 > /proc/driver/acerhk/wirelessled

exit

il y a bien un voyant mais il n'y a aucunne réaction, la led reste off

et cette interrupteur (si cela correcpond au wifi) est bien sur 'On/marche", tu as peut etre un voyant pouvant confirmer si le wifi est actif ?

pas de combinaison de touches, juste un interrupteur type bouton poussoir à côté du clavier
pas de double boot, 100% Xubuntu.

je suis débutant et je viens d'installé avec succès Xubuntu 12.04LTS sur un Medion MD 97600.
Le WIFI ne fonctionne pas!
Après plusieurs recherche je pense avoir vu d'où vient le problème

la commande rfkill list donne:

La réponse YES ne me plait pas du tout!

Avez-vous une solution?

Via le bios j'ai le possibilité de désactiver ou de reprendre le dernier état, malheureusement pas de possibilité d'activer.
Le bouton à coté du clavier qui sert à activer ne fonctionne pas!
