You need to do the following:

sudo chown (user name) ~/.ICEauthority
sudo chmod 777 ~/.ICEauthority

Your x server should be able to access the file and boot when you restart.

tu veux dire l'applet "par défaut" que l'on peut choisir en cliquant avec le bouton droit de la souris sur le panel et en choisissant "Ajouter nouvel élément"?

oui c'est ça, au debut il me l'a mis l'applet, mais avec tout les volume a zero et impossibilé de les monté. je suis sous breezy.
j'ai bien du son avec xmms, mais apres quelques instant de lecture j'ai des petits parasites (petits craquements).

effectivement un run xfce-panel fonctionne par contre a chaque foire que je tente d'ajouter un applet controle de volume ça crash le xfce panel... y'a des paquet a installer?

Pas de panique! Tu as toujours accès au menu XFCE avec le clic droit de ta souris. Là tu choisis "Run program" afin de lancer "xfce4-panel" et tu récupères ledit panel!

alors que j'ajoutais un applet de controle de volume a la barre de menu, celle-ci a disparue!! j'ai eu un beau log d'erreur dans mes dossier perso et je suis bien emmerder!
