Si tu as un souci, recréer un post, je doute que tu tente d'installer ubuntu 8.10 alors qu'on en est a la version 12.10 !

pour le probleme MSI705 il faut partir d'une install UBUNTU SERVER puis mettre xserver et kde(voir doc) et avancer pas à pas, chez moi ça fonctionne bien que un probleme avec webcam.

Et uniquement sous Vista. j'essaie la Alpha de la 9.04, car j'ai le même MSI vr 705, et les mêmes problèmes.

Dans le Bios, il y a 2 mode possibles pour le disque dur (AHCI mode ou Sata mode). Il Faut virer toutes les partitions et choisir Sata mode. Bizarrement en AHCI XP refusait de reconnaitre le disque dur... je ne sais pas à quoi correspond AHCI mais bon...

du premier coup tout est presque parfait

wifi nickel
son ok

me manque la webcam et l'acceleration vidéo materielle mais je n'ai pas encore trop fouiné

pour une alpha il ne faut pas se plaindre
j'ai open office 3.0 sans manip subtile pour un Newbiee

le portable est beaucoup plus reactif que sous Vista

c'est une version AMD 64 avec un proc Intel  ....

suis un peu surpris qd meme

negatif pour les 8.10 ou 8.04
il frise au bout de 3 barres

meme en changeant les options ou la c'est pire je tombe sur buzybox initramfs car il ne trouve plus le disque

par contre avec la version alpha du 9.04 oui
donc je vais l'installer pas question de garder Vista

en fait cela viendrait du chipset Nvidia MCP 79

je vais essayer de booter avec une 8.10 AMD 64 et eventuellement une 9.04 alpha 4 toujours AMD64
