Après il faut sudo dpkg -i nomdesfichiersdebgénérés.deb

sur le site de canon j'ai trouvé les driver *rpm.
avec des manip qu'un copain m'a donné j'arrive a ceci:

tommy@dt-tom:~/Desktop/Canon$ sudo   alien -d cndrvcups-common-1.02-1.i386.rpm
cndrvcups-common_1.02-2_i386.deb generated
tommy@dt-tom:~/Desktop/Canon$ sudo alien -d cndrvcups-capt-1.02-1.i386.rpm
cndrvcups-capt_1.02-2_i386.deb generated
tommy@dt-tom:~/Desktop/Canon$ sudo   alien -i cndrvcups-common-1.02-1.i386.rpm
tommy@dt-tom:~/Desktop/Canon$ sudo alien -i cndrvcups-capt-1.02-1.i386.rpm
tommy@dt-tom:~/Desktop/Canon$ sudo  /etc/rc.d/init.d/cups restart

est-ce juste?
que doijs fair pour continuer?

systeme -> administration -> impression -> ajouter imprimante

Et la 1200 en question a l'air de fonctionner avec les drivers hp (hpij)... Donc, tu peux déjà tenter comme ça, pour voir...

Mais il ne me semble pas que ton imprimante soit listée.
De plus, avoir le driver ne te garantit pas pour autant la possibilité d'imprimer, notamment pour toutes les imprimantes qui nécessitent une mise en configuration de standby en envoyant une firmware sur l'imprimante au boot comme c'est le cas pour la mienne pour laquelle il n'existe pas encore de solution.

j'ai décider de passer sur ubuntu... je suis donc a mes début!
pourriez vous me dire comment puis-je installer et ou puis-je telecharger les driver pour cette imprimante pour ce systeme d'exploitation.
