Salut,

Je viens de passer en version 21.04 et des documents qui se compilaient (avec Kile) facilement sous 20.10 ne le font plus.
Au cas où j'ai tout réinstallé de zéro (y compris Ubuntu) mais ça ne marche pas mieux.
J'ai essayé avec Texmaker et c'est la même chose.

Je constate que le PS est, je crois, bien créé.
Quand je lance dans le terminal à la main la fonction j'ai des messages d'erreur que je ne comprends pas :

Le truc c'est que le document pdf n'est pas créé. Je n'utilise pas ghostscript pour extraire des pages du PDF. J'utilise ps2pdf pour créer le pdf et ps2pdf, lui, utilise ghostscript qui semble planter. Si ça se trouve le plantage vient d'avant (à la création du DVI ou du PS, je ne sais pas). Si ça se trouve il vient bien de ghostscript. Dans tous les cas le PDF n'est pas créé et donc le passage par pdftk ne me sert pas

Bon j'ai abandonné pour revenir à la dernière LTS.
Comme c'est mon ordinateur de travail, j'attendrai une période de vacances pour faire des essais

Salut,

Depuis quelques temps, peut-être la version 20.10, il m'est impossible d'installer une nouvelle extension depuis le site https://extensions.gnome.org/
J'ai bien le bouton, je l'actionne et il ne se passe rien.
Les anciennes extensions fonctionnent mais les nouvelles ne s'installent pas.

Une idée ?

Xubu, il se trouve qu'à la mise à jour du noyau, j'ai reperdu le wifi et que j'ai du booter sous l'ancien noyau pour l'avoir de nouveau.
J'ai eu beau refaire les manips du message 4 : rien n'y fait.

Alors je n'ai pas vu le message #33 et j'ai installé un peu au pif un truc qui a installé dkms.
Au final j'ai le wifi !!

C'est cool.

J'ai fait un

cat /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf

mais il m'a indiqué que je n'avais pas de fichier /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf
Je suis allé voir : si, il y en avait un.
Il contenait juste la ligne :

options rtl8723de ant_sel=2

J'ai essayé avec un 1 à la place du 2, reboot, pas de bluetooth visible, puis avec un 0, reboot, pas de bluetooth visible.

J'ai lancé la commande (je ne suis pas à une commande que je ne comprends pas près) :

J'ai installé la version 20.04 et le wifi et le bluetooth sont fonctionnels out-of-the-box.
Ça faisait longtemps que cela n'était pas arrivé !

Un petit mot pour dire que pour une seconde fois en moins de 3 ans la carte mère de cet ordinateur à grillé.
Maintenant hors garantie, j'ai du m'en acheter un autre...

J'ai pris un Honor Magicbook 14 et j'y ai installé Ubuntu 20.04. Et ça a marché "out of the box" (tout : les touches spéciales, le wifi, le bluetooth, tout ça, tout ça) et en plus la disque dur était déjà partitionné avec une partition "data" de 150 Go qui n'attendait qu'Ubuntu (30 pour la racine, 8 pour le swap, le reste pour le /home). Je crois qu'il y a une page dans le wiki pour indiquer les ordinateurs compatibles, je vais voir à l'indiquer.

Donc fini avec mon HP Pavillon et vive mon Honor.

Je n'ai pas fait de sudo nautilus ou de sudo gnome-control-center depuis la réinstallation, donc le probème ne vient pas de là. Le problème est arrivé après branchement du câble hdmi et tentative d'accès au centre de contrôle.

Après redémarrage le problème persiste :

Je précise :
J'ai eu ce problème une première fois, j'ai réinstallé, il a disparu, puis il est réapparu.
Les deux fois il est apparu dans la même circonstance : j'ai branché un câble hdmi et j'ai voulu accéder au centre de contrôle pour un réglage. Le lancement du centre de contrôle par le menu en haut à droite a planté et depuis plus d'accès au centre de contrôle.

Hum, en fait le problème n'est pas si réglé que ça.
Je peux lancer le gnome control center après ré-initialisation par la commande donnée, cependant tous les choix de ce centre de contrôle ne sont pas accessibles : le choix "Périphériques", que j'ai essayé d'utiliser pour régler des écrans multiples ou un ajout d'imprimante, replante le bouzin.
Je suis obligé de ré-initialiser à chaque fois par la commande donnée ci-dessus :

dconf reset -f /org/gnome/control-center/

Une idée ?

J'ai jamais eu autant de problème avec Ubuntu que dans cette version-ci, je suis surpris.
