Bonjour,

Je viens de faire l'erreur d'installer sur mon Ubuntu fraîchement installé un des pilotes propriétaires NVIDIA proposés par l'utilitaire Jockey et, depuis, Unity refuse de se lancer : seul le fond d'écran s'affiche, j'entends Skype se lancer (puisqu'il produit un petit son lors de son lancement)... Et c'est tout : pas de lanceur, pas de tableau de bord, rien !

Étant donné que tout fonctionnait très bien avant l'installation de ce pilote, je le supprime en me disant que tout rentrera dans l'ordre, mais non. Actuellement, je ne peux plus utiliser Unity, seul LXDE (que j'ai pu installer via un terminal) fonctionne.

Quelqu'un aurait une idée de la manière dont je pourrais résoudre ce problème, de préférence sans réinstaller tout le système ?

Effectivement, je ne pense pas que cela corresponde à ma situation non plus hmm
En fait je crois que c'est plus un problème de pilote graphique : peut-être que je me trompe lourdement, mais à mon avis le pilote générique utilisé par Ubuntu a été supprimé et remplacé par celui que j'ai demandé sur Jockey, mais n'a pas été rétabli lors de la suppression dudit pilote...

Si c'est le cas, la question est : comment réinstaller le pilote générique ? ^^'

En fait j'ai utilisé l'interface de Jockey : j'ai tout bêtement cliqué sur le pilote NVIDIA, puis sur le bouton « Désactiver ».
Petite précision : Jockey n'était pas installé (je suis sous Ubuntu 12.10), je l'avais donc installé via APT-GET.

Je confirme également que le problème a bien lieu sur la session Invité comme sur ma session personnelle.

Bonjour,

J'ai installé aujourd'hui le logiciel Bumblebee sur mon Dell XPS L501X équipé de le technologie Optimus, mais depuis mon second écran branché en HDMI (je n'ai pas le choix, je n'ai que ça comme port) n'affiche plus rien. Pour être plus exact, il affiche le message « Aucun signal »...

Une idée de comment je pourrais résoudre ce problème ?

Je m'excuse au préalable si mon message est mal placé, je ne savais pas trop où le poster :-°

Je m'intéresse en fait actuellement au fonctionnement d'APT, et je me pose quelques questions à ce propos...
Les voici, à la volée :

  1. Lorsque l'on effectue une mise à jour (par le biais du gestionnaire de mises à jour ou par le biais de apt-get) d'un logiciel en cours d'exécution, cela semble ne pas interférer avec le fonctionnement dudit logiciel. Pourtant, il y a si je ne me trompe pas remplacement de l'exécutable, donc possibilité de plantage du programme en cours d'exécution au moment de la mise à jour. Cela n'a pourtant pas lieu.
    Pire : il arrive qu'une mise à jour d'APT ait lieu, et dans ce cas, il effectue sa propre mise à jour sans pour autant faire planter l'ensemble du programme de mise à jour. Par quel magie cela est-il possible ?

  2. Sous Windows, lorsque la mise à jour implique la modification de fichiers système, le système de redémarrer. Cela semble ne pas être toujours vrai sous Linux (à part lorsqu'une nouvelle version du noyau est disponible, et encore l'ancienne version est toujours disponible). Comment sont effectuées les mises à jours des fichiers système pour permettre que le système ne doive pas être redémarré ?
    Et question stupide : dans ce cas, pourquoi Microsoft ne s'est-il pas inspiré d'APT (ou de RPM ou d'un autre gestionnaire de paquet Linux) pour améliorer son système de mise à jour ?
    Cette question n'est pas un appel au troll, juste une question d'un ex-Windowsien à la recherche de réponses...

Donc en fait la totalité du programme est stocké dans la mémoire vive, c'est ça ? Cela ne poserait-il pas un problème pour les programmes les plus lourds ? :-°
À moins que le programme soit copié dans un dossier temporaire pour garantir son fonctionnement à tout moment pendant l'exécution ?

Bonjour,

J'ai fait l'acquisition récemment d'une télévision Samsung T22B300 (fiche sur le site de Samsung France) que j'ai branchée sur mon ordinateur portable (un Dell XPS L501X) en HDMI. Depuis, mon serveur graphique X.Org plante au démarrage, et je suis obligé de débrancher mon écran avant de démarrer mon PC, et le rebrancher une fois que je suis connecté. Le résultat (je ne sais pas si c'est lié), c'est que je dois re-paramétrer mon dual-screen (images différentes sur les écrans, définition d'image sur la télévision, positionnement).
Lorsque j'allume mon ordinateur sous Ubuntu avec la télévision branchée, la boîte de dialogue suivante s'affiche sur l'écran de mon PC portable : http://imgur.com/HtMDO4g

Sachant que je ne peux pas brancher ma télévision autrement qu'en HDMI pour la simple et très bonne raison que mon PC n'a qu'un port HDMI, comment puis-je résoudre ce fâcheux problème ?

D'après ce que me renvoie xrandr, il s'agit effectivement de HDMI-2 (l'autre est indiqué comme étant déconnecté).

Mais quelles modifications dois-je faire ?
Je n'ai jamais manipulé ce fichier...

Lorsque je ne met pas de fond d'écran, c'est à dire lorsque je choisi un fond uniforme noir, le dual screen fonctionne parfaitement.

Je pense que c'est un soucis de gestion du fond d'écran.

Hé ben non : j'ai mis un fond noir comme tu l'as demandé, puis j'ai fermé ma session et l'ai rouverte, mais cela fait exactement pareil hmm

Comment puis-je connaître les paquets qui doivent être supprimés ? Sont-ce les paquets indiqués ou est-ce que c'est d'autres paquets que ceux-là ?

Hum, désolé de paraître un peu noob, mais c'est la première fois que j'utilise Synaptic :-°
Comment je fais pour trouver ces paquets dans Synaptic ?

J'avais lu ça effectivement, mais quand je l'avais installé la première fois je n'ai eu aucun soucis...
C'est vraiment lors de la mise à jour que j'ai rencontré des problèmes...

Et je vous avoue que je ne suis pas très chaud pour utiliser une version instable de ce logiciel, car je distribue les fichiers MP4 que je génère avec... Il ne faudrait pas qu'il y ait eu un soucis d'encodage yikes

Si, puisque c'est écrit dans la partie "Version instable"...
De plus, le PPA proposé dans le nota est le même que celui proposé pour installer la version instable, quelques lignes plus haut hmm

En effet, la commande du nota lance l'installation de deux paquets différents :

  • handbrake-gtk en version instable

  • ffmpeg (que je possède déjà sur mon ordinateur)

Comment retrouver les paquets en mode « garder à l'état » dans Synaptic ?

Il y a apparemment un soucis de version des dépendances, ce qui expliquerait pourquoi je ne peux pas installer Handbrake. En effet, pour chaque paquet demandé, la version la plus récente proposée est la 0.10, alors que Handbrake demande au minimum la 1.0.0...

Comment résoudre cela ? Sinon, comment installer la version de Handbrake que j'avais avant de tenter la mise à jour ?
C'est important, j'en ai besoin pour le début de semaine prochaine :-°

Je me suis finalement jeté à l'eau et utilisé le dépôt instable.
