Quand tu dis carte graphique trop récente, tu veux parler des GeForce GT7... ? Y'a-t-il une liste des différentes cartes graphiques supportées par bumblebee ? J'ai beau chercher, je n'en ai pas encore trouvé...

(je compte m'acheter un portable avec un GT740M, celui-ci pour être précis, et je cherche à savoir si des soucis sont à prévoir...)

Bonjour à tous, je suis moi aussi touché, comme beaucoup j'ai l'impression, par le syndrome du

j'ai lu que ce message était arrivé à pas mal de monde depuis assez longtemps, ce qui m'empêche de trouver les bonnes informations sur le forum, je crois que vous pouvez m'aider !

à noter que l'ordi est neuf donc ce n'est pas un problème de mise à jour, je viens juste de l'installer. La carte graphique est une GF 740M, l'ordi la reconnaît, j'ai modifié le fichier bumblebee.conf en ajoutant le module, le kernel et le driver comme trouvé sur ce topic... et ça n'a rien changé après le redémarrage !

vous auriez une petite idée ?

vous savez si y'a du nouveau de prévu avec prime ? stabilité / nouveaux pilotes / compatibilité avec les gestionnaire de fenêtres ?

édit --> et aussi, y'aurait moyen de mettre à jour le premier post avec les nouveautés au fil du temps ? ça se faisait à une époque et c'était pratique quand on suivait pas trop le fil de discussion, parce que là ça va, y'a pas encore bcp de pages, mais rendu à 150 ça fait un brin...

Ce n'est pas ce que dit la philosophie unix. Simplement, elle demandera des modules (souvent en mode texte, d'ailleurs) qui sont indépendants, mais qui communiquent entre eux. Et là dessus il y aura une interface utilisateur unique (un nouveau logiciel), dont le boulot sera d'avoir une présentation graphique commune et unifiée. Donc l'utilisateur ne voit q'un outil, mais il y en a en fait peut-être 10. L'avantage c'est que chaque outil est simple, facile à maintenir, utilisable par d'autres projets.

Impg --> la technologie optimus est désormais supportée sans bumblebee sur saucy, même si ça reste expérimental (je sais plus quel est le numéro de pilote, mais avec le dernier ça devrait marcher), chez moi le lancement/extinction de la carte graphique fonctionne bien, mais il y a encore quelques plantages (dus aussi à l'instabilité de saucy)

EDIT : j'ai retrouvé l'article où j'avais vu ça, l'installation est impec (je viens de retester avec les mises à jour, ça marche très bien)

c'est surtout pour la suite, les mises à jour se font automatiquement, j'ai pas envie d'aller chercher les corrections de bugs tous les matins...

tout à fait, le ruban est peut-être plus esthétique pour certain (après c'est une question de goûts...) mais on a encore rien fait de mieux qu'une barre d'outils !

sincèrement le HUD c'est un truc qu'ils ont expérimenté sur bureau mais qui s'adresse aux utilisateurs de l'ubuntuphone qui va arriver, ou aux tablettes à la rigueur... sur PC (même portable) c'est inutilisable, une vraie geekerie qui n'est d'aucune utilité pour le traitement de texte...

je viens de mettre à jour l'extension, et c'est assez étrange, elle est activée, tout semble fonctionner, mais elle ne signale rien, même si je fais des fautes volontaires...

merci beaucoup titi89, j'avais exactement le même problème, mais je n'avais pas tenté de supprimer gedit... c'est chose faite et tout est revenu à la normale, le mystère reste entier sur la cause de ce bug, ce n'est pas mon ordinateur non plus !

du coup j'ai installé la 13.10 pour voir, bien qu'elle ne soit pas finie elle m'a l'air assez stable (bon, je vais éviter de trop bidouiller...) et la carte graphique marche sans bumblebee grace au dernier driver nvidia... merci beaucoup pour ton aide, et si j'ai trop de soucis je repasse en 13.04 avec un driver plus récent !

okay, donc saucy est vraiment hyper instable chez moi, je me la garde sous le coude mais j'ai réinstallé raring histoire de pouvoir bosser sans kernel panic :-)
j'ai beau chercher, je ne trouve pas comment installer un pilote plus récent dans bumblebee, tout ce que dit la doc c'est "Depuis la version 3.1 de Bumblebee, il suffit d'installer la version de votre choix." mais ça ne dit pas comment faire ! (groumpf)
tu aurais un lien expliquant la démarche ?

le label est centré au survol, mais il est bien aligné à gauche au clic droit sur la 12.10, ce qui semble assez logique...
C'est vrai qu'aligné à droite au survol c'est assez moche, je sais pas vraiment si c'est une priorité mais ça ne doit pas être très compliqué à corriger non ?
