C'est le gros inconvénient de Linux, c'est difficile souvent impossible d'installer une version de Logiciel qui n'est pas prévue pour la version de ta distribution, quand on sait que la version ne dure que 6 mois.ça veut dire qu'il faut réinstaller souvent.
Sur Windows tu peux très bien installer un logiciel qui a 10 ans ou le dernier sorti sans  problèmes

L'écueil se trouve au niveau des dépendance de paquets qui peux vite de devenir compliqué (ce que résout plus facilement les ppa). Linux n'est pas Windows mais il est un concurrent de Windows, enfin "concurrent" est peu être un un bien grand mot

Un message d'erreur revient souvent Problème logiciel détecté pourtant apparemment tout fonctionne

j'ai eu la même chose sur Ubuntu 12.10 et quelqu'un avait doné une solution sur un  topic mais je ne retrouve plus lequel,
Il fallait modifier un fichier et le problème disparaissait

Bonjour,

J'ai installé Ubuntu 12.04 sur mon vieux portable il y a une quinzaine de jours
J'en suis plutôt satisfait , mis a part le démarrage long et parfois qui n'aboutit pas

Oui  c'est un Celeron avec 1.5 Go de RAM
Mandriva 2010 y tournait très bien , le démarrage était normal
XP aussi
Ubuntu 12.04 tourne pas trop mal c'est uniquement le démarrage qui est tres long ou qui n'aboutit pas
Problème de DD ?...

Oui, Gnome shell parce que je l'aime mieux et c'est apparement moins lourd
Linux Mint j'ai essayé, l'installation ce passe bien mais au démarrage je n'ai que le fond d'écran , pas de barre , pas de menu, je ne comprend pas pourquoi pourtant Linux Mint c'est Ubuntu avec Cinnamon comme bureau
j'utilise aussi Cinnamon sur la 12.04

Depuis 2 jours tout les démarrages ont réussi (une dizaine)
ça reste un peu long mais si ça continue comme ça et si tu ne trouve rien d'anormal, c'est bien

J'ai constaté que le disque présentait quelques secteurs défectueux ,ça pourrait en être la cause ?

Salut,

Moi je fais comme ça
Quand tu ouvres nautilus et que tu cliques sur la partition ou se trouve le dossier que tu veux ouvrir ça monte ta partition
Ensuite tu fais  Alt+F2 et dans la fenetre qui s'ouvre tu tapes gksuso nautilus et tu peux acceder au dossier que tu veux copier

oui j'ai verifié le md5

Tu as raison helly ,j'ai réussi avec usb-creator mais sur un autre pc mais c'est sur ce pc que je voulais installer Ubuntu et sur celui la je vois le logo pendant des heures et c'est tout,
par contre il fonctionne sur l'autre pc mais d'une lenteur il faut plusieurs minutes pour changer de page dans l'installateur , je vais essayer avec multiboot aussi et tant pis peut etre avec un cd
le fait que Usb-creator n'a pas fonctionné sur le premier pc ,ça vient peut etre du fait qu'il soit encore avec la 9.04 et l'autre avec la 10.04
