Bonjour,

Je suis un nouveau venu dans le monde de Linux, et je souhaite paramétrer ma connexion Wifi sous Kubuntu 7.10.
J'utilise le stick USB Olitec 802.11b V2, qui utilise le chipset ZyDAS 1201.
J'ai téléchargé le pilote Linux pour le zd1201, et je tente de l'installer... sans succès.
En effet, quand je tape:

sudo make

il m'affiche:

Failed: No firmware directory found

Si je comprend bien, il ne trouve pas où installer le pilote.
Pourtant, quand je fais

lsmod

zd1201 est bien présent, mais il est aussi écrit "Used by 0".
Pouvez vous m'aider ?

C'est ce que j'ai fait, et ça ne marche pas (j'avais réussi à l'installer une fois sous Sabayon avec les mêmes manips).

Edit: En fait, l'ordi essaie de copier les fichiers dans un dossier qui n'existe pas.
Je vais tenter des manips demain.

Bonjour,
Je fais un mega-up, car les choses avancent...
Avec Ubuntu 8.04, ma clé USB est reconnue nativement, j'ai simplement à rentrer les paramètres (clé WEP, etc...).
Par contre, quand je démarre sous Ubuntu, je suis obligé  de débrancher ma clé et de la rebrancher à l'écran de choix de session, sans quoi le démarrage plante !
Que dois-je faire ?

Bon, je fais un up car je pense réinstaller Ubuntu en dualboot avec Windows, et je voulais savoir comment éviter le bug cité plus haut smile .

Le point d'accès MAC concorde, donc ça c'est bon.
Et oui, c'est tout à fait normal que ma clé fonctionne avec la norme b, c'est une vieille clé wink (faudrait peut-être que j'en change big_smile ...), mais je ne sais plus quelles normes supporte la Livebox smile .

Et que veus-tu dire exactement par dns de la Livebox ? Son ESSID ?
Je vais regarder le contenu de resolv.conf.

Bon, le fait de changer resolv.conf n'a rien amélioré (je démarrais tranquille, mais je n'avais pas de connexion). Avec les paramètres d'origine, le ping fonctionne parfaitement.
Pour ce qui est de la norme n, je suis allé voir sur wikipedia, et apparamment sa sortie était prévue cette année...
Sinon, merci pour ce petit cours sur les DNS, même si je connaissais déjà un peu (je croyais qu'en fait le nom de la Livebox était relié à son IP).

Bon, j'ai désactivé avahi-daemon en modifiant /etc/default/avahi-daemon, mais rien n'y fait !
J'ai regardé ce qui se lançait et après une erreur sur une appli en rapport avec les DNS, le démarrage bloque sur cupsd...

Bonjour,
J'ai récemment mis à jour mon Ubuntu Hardy Heron 64 bits, et depuis, quand je démarre mon PC, GRUB me propose plusieurs noyaux pour Ubuntu ! Je voulais savoir s'il était possible de supprimer l'ancien noyau définitivement et si oui, comment (j'ai pas vraiment envie de tout faire planter smile ...). J'ai regardé un peu dans Synaptic et il y a des paquets correspondants aux noyaux, je pense que la suppression se fera là, mais quels paquets supprimer hmm ?

Bonjour,
J'ai installé Ubuntu Hardy Heron 64 bits sur mon PC, puis ai fait les mises à jours. Cependant, après redémarrage, Gnome ne se lance pas ! Comment résoudre ce problème ?

Bon, j'ai tout simplement réinstallé Ubuntu smile .
En fait, j'avais supprimé des programmes avant, et je pense que dans les dépendances, certains programmes importants ont été supprimés (genre ubuntu-desktop...).
