Bonjour à tous,

Mon soucis du moment : j'ai pas mal de présentation à donner et j'ai récemment acquis un contrôleur sans fil pour pouvoir lancer mes diapos LibreOffice Impress à distance. La télécommande est une Targus (je n'ai pas le modèle exact, rien n'étant écrit dessus) avec un petit récepteur USB.

J'en conclu que le contrôleur est bien activé et reconnu en tant que souris... Mais si je lance
xinput test 10
Je n'ai qu'un bouton qui répond au presser/relâcher (le bouton "Escape/Resume" d'après la doc). Et aucun si je lance
xinput test 10
Je n'ai absolument rien !

Pourtant, cette même télécommande, branché sur le même ordinateur marche parfaitement sous une machine virtuelle Windows 7 !!

Bref, je pense que j'ai oublié d'activer quelques chose quelque part, mais quoi ?? Merci d'avance pour les éventuelles réponses ou pistes !

Bonjour à tous,

J'utilise Virtualbox depuis pas mal de temps pour y faire tourner une VM Windows 7. Tout marchait très bien jusqu'à ces derniers jours, mais depuis peu, impossible de démarrer la machine. J'utilise la version 4.3.18, celle directement disponible dans les dépôts.

Si je lance ma VM depuis la console :

VBoxManage startvm "Windows7"

Mais dans les faits, on voit la VM commencer à démarrer, puis s'éteindre brutalement avant que le logo de démarrage Windows 7 n'apparaisse. Avec l'interface GUI Virtualbox, la machine est définie comme étant dans un état avorté (normal), et le log de démarrage donne les indications suivantes :

D'après le log, ça semble du à l'affichage (?). J'ai essayé de démarrer avec/sans le mode 3D, augmenter la mémoire vidéo allouée, démarrer en écran réduit mais rien n'y fait, la VM plante toujours au même endroit ! J'ajoute que je suis récemment passé de Ubuntu 14.04 à la version 14.10 et je pense que ma migration n'est pas étrangère à mon problème...

Des pistes ? Je dois absolument faire tourner cette VM avant la fin du WE car j'ai besoin des infos d'un de mes programmes Windows hmm

Bon, je me répond à moi-même, ayant résolu le problème sur une illumination (et cela peut peut-être servir à quelqu'un !)

La migration de Ubuntu 14.04 vers la 14.10 a effectivement mis à jour Virtualbox (je suis passé donc sur la version 4.3.18), mais elle n'a pas mis à jour le pack d'extension que j'avais installé manuellement !

Bref, même si j'avais désactivé pour ma VM Windows7 toutes les options liées au pack extension (USB, partage de fichier, etc), la machine plantait.

J'ai donc du supprimer l'ancien pack, via "Fichier > Paramètres > Extensions", puis télécharger la bonne version des extensions pack (la 4.3.18 donc) depuis le site d'Oracle, procéder à son installation et voilà, tout (re)fonctionne parfaitement !

Bonjour à tous,

Je suis en train de réfléchir à la configuration logicielle de mon nouveau serveur domestique (pour info, il s'agit d'un HP N54L). J'utilisais jusqu'à présent un vieux HP s7520 modifié headless, mais le besoin de mettre 3 disques durs de stockage imposait un changement de matériel.

Mon ancien petit serveur (Debian Wheezy) me fournit les services suivants :

  • Nginx / MySQL (pour développement en local et parfois quelques sites accessibles depuis l'extérieur),

  • DLNA (via Mini-DLNA),

  • NFS (serveur de fichiers pour quelques ordinateurs locaux),

  • un pseudo RAID (via une tâche CRON de synchronisation),

  • Le tout géré via SSH.

Je compte reprendre, sur le nouveau serveur, les mêmes services mais en rajoutant :

  • Montage des 3 disques de stockage en ZFS,

  • prise en charge de l'impression (via CUPS?),

  • VPN,

  • Serveur de virtualisation.

C'est sur ce dernier point que j'ai besoin de conseils !

Je compte utiliser cette fonction principalement pour rendre accessible à tous les ordinateurs du réseau une VM type Windows 7 (qui tournait jusqu'à maintenant sous VirtualBox sur mon poste de travail). Mais, à terme, je compte déployer 1 voir 2 clients légers au sein du réseau et les images (linux bien sur) seront hébergées sur le serveur.

Bref, après un peu de lecture, j'envisage d'installer Xen pour la partie virtualisation. Pour avoir un accès « graphique » à ces fameuses machines virtuelles je pense utiliser X2Go Server (pour la partie Windows 7) et X2Go PXE Server (pour mes images Linux).

Question 1 : est-ce que ça peut marcher ? (la base!)
Question 2 : si je pars sur cette idée de Xen, il me semble que cela implique de garder le dom 0 le plus « basique » possible ou est-ce que je peux y faire tourner l'ensemble des services cités précédemment (et à ce moment créer une VM qui sera dédiée à ces services ?
Question 3 : si la réponse à la question 2 est « Créer une VM dédiée », cela peut-il poser un problème pour l'utilisation de X2Go ?

Pour le reste, je suis en train de terminer la configuration. Xen est relativement facile à installer et configurer. Je peux installer d'ores et déjà installer mes VMs, mais m'étant fixé l'utilisation d'un GUI (OpenXenManager), la prise en main à distance est moins évidente :-/ Mais ça va se faire !

Après plusieurs jours passés a essayer OpenXenManager, j'avoue avoir plus ou moins laissé tomber (pour l'instant) ce logiciel.

Sous Ubuntu Gnome 14.04, on peut obtenir une version directement depuis les dépôts. installation hyper-simple donc ; la configuration du serveur XEN (installation et configuration de XAPI) n'est pas non plus excessivement compliquée. Mais une fois OpenXenMamanger connecté à Xen, ça n'est pas "sain" : on a des commandes qui ne passent pas toujours, des interfaces qui ne fonctionnent pas (je n'ai jamais pu avoir accès la console du Dom0 par exemple), etc. Si l'on lance depuis un terminal, il semble qu'il y ait en effet pas mal de retour d'erreurs. J'ai téléchargé rapidement la version issue du "trunk", mais chez moi, je n'ai même pas pu la lancer ! A priori un soucis avec la bibliothèque python-GTK... Et effectivement le code semble vieux d'après le dépôt GIT.

Après, je jette pas le bébé avec l'eau du bain : le logiciel est vraiment très complet et bien fait en terme d'ergonomie. Je vais pour l'instant tester Xen avec le toolstack de base, puis ensuite réessayer XAPI et OpenXenManager, histoire de voir, par la suite. Mais pour l'instant, ça se déroule très, très bien en ligne de commande et je remplis mes objectifs : je vais continuer quelques temps comme cela !

Je suis confronté au problème suivant sous Bash.

Dans le cadre d'un stage, on me demande de reprendre des rapports PDF (une petite centaine avec une dizaine de pages à chaque fois) et de les préparer pour une importation dans une base de données. Le soucis, c'est qu'ils ne sont pas tous « exactement » construit pareil et contiennent pas tous les même données.

J'ai pour le moment réussi à convertir les PDFs en fichiers textes (via pdftotext) ; je souhaite maintenant découper ces fichiers textes en sous-fichiers suivants 3 différents délimiteurs, un peu du style :

A noter que les délimiteurs (« Rubrique », « Intitulé », « Chapitre ») comporte bien éveidement des espaces dans le cas que je cherche à traiter.

J'ai réussi partiellement avec csplit, mais il ne prend en compte qu'un seul délimiteur (par exemple « Chapitre »)

J'avoue les avoir utilisé seulement partiellement car, comme les délimiteurs contenaient des espaces (parfois conséquent) ou des caractères cachés Windows, je me retrouvais avec des nom de fichiers textes plutôt "bizarres". Néanmoins, en adaptant un peu le code pour mon usage bien spécifique, je suis arrivé à mes fins !

Je suis en train de configurer un petit serveur de fichiers, médias, etc. via Ubuntu Server 14.04.

Le matériel (un vieux HP Slimline 7520s) supporte parfaitement la mise en hibernation via pm-suspend, mais je souhaiterai pousser plus loin l'économie d'énergie en utilisant powernap. L'idée étant que le serveur  entre de lui-même en veille si il n'est pas utilisé.

Aucun soucis pour l'installation, mais je ne comprend pas comment configurer powernap pour le faire fonctionner. J'ai eu beau modifier /etc/powernap/config et vérifier que le service tourne bien, le serveur ne rentre pas en veille. Qui plus est les logs restent vides (?). Ci-dessous le contenu du fichier de configuration :

Bonsoir,

J'ai le problème suivant et je commence à m'arracher le peu de cheveux qu'il me reste.

J'ai un (tout) petit serveur headless avec 2 disques qui fonctionne en pseudo RAID. L'idée est qu'un script basé sur rsync sauvegarde tous les soirs via cron le contenu du disque DISK1 vers DISK2 (environ 1 To de données).

Mais j'ai de manière systématique un erreur de type :

rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 44 bytes to socket [sender]: Broken pipe (32)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (309877 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(601) [sender=3.0.7]

J'ai essayé de très nombreuses options (j'en ai mis une partie ci-dessous, mais j'en ai testé de nombreuses autres) :

rsync -avz -C --delete $DISK1 $DISK2 > $LOGFILE 2>&1
OU
rsync -avz --omit-dir-times --delete $DISK1 $DISK2 > $LOGFILE 2>&1
OU
rsync --archive --delete --update --verbose --progress $DISK1 $DISK2 > $LOGFILE 2>&1

Mais je n'arrive pas à trouver pourquoi j'ai systématiquement cette erreur (le fichier log se termine toujours pas l'erreur "rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed (...)" hmm

J'ajoute qu'à chaque modification du script, j'ai laissé volontairement cron déclencher au moins une dizaine de fois le script (en me disant que petit à petit la sauvegarde se ferait), mais rien à faire, les disques ne sont pas synchronisés et les logs comportent cette erreur à plus ou moins brève échéance...

Bref, que faire ? Il semble que cette erreur soit un véritable bug de rsync qui apparaît dans certaines conditions pas vraiment identifiées (et que malheureusement je semble remplir).

J'ai absolument besoin de cette sauvegarde automatique... Toute aide serait la bienvenue !

Le résultat de :

rsync --archive --verbose $DISK1 $DISK2 >> $LOGFILE

Un log sans erreur (c'est bien la première fois depuis longtemps), mais une synchronisation partielle (moins de 200Go copié sur DISK2 sur presque 980Go de DISK2). Je laisse le script tel quel pour voir si il y a du changement lors du prochain déclenchement par cron. Par contre il est sur que, manuellement (=lancé en SSH), le script s'arrête au bout d'un moment avec l'erreur habituelle dans le log...

J'ai laissé tourner le script (avec les points de montage en "dur") quelques jours, pour voir.

Dans les faits, les logs se remplissent doucement (leurs tailles augmentent), mais il n'y a toujours pas de synchronisation des répertoires (c'est même excessivement partiel) et, bizarrement, aucune erreur en fin de log. Et si je lance le script en SSH, la connexion est coupée au bout d'un certain temps (variable...).

Bref, je comprends pas hmm

Super !! Je vais essayer cette option ---no-inc-recursive (que je connaissais pas) car effectivement, la mémoire sur ce serveur est plutôt limitée (il s'agit d'un... pogoplug E02 wink ) par rapport aux 2 disques de 2 To bien pleins...

La synchronisation a belle et bien lieu ! Je vais maintenant rajouter petit à petit les options dont j'ai besoin (--delete en particulier) et ce sera parfait !

Bonsoir,

Je suis actuellement en train d'essayer de customiser des ROMs android. Jusque là tout va bien, mais je me vois confronté à un problème auquel je n'ai pas de solution.

Je dois compresser mon système de fichier Android dans une archive Tar (ça, je sais faire), mais il doit par la suite être décompressé dans le répertoire parent (enfin, je crois, je ne suis pas sur hmm). Une petite capture d'écran valant mieux qu'un long discours :

A gauche, le gestionnaire d'archive présente "ma" compression ROM (a noter l'emplacement en "/" qui ne me convient pas) ; à droite, la compression que je dois obtenir (avec un emplacement en "/./").

Bref, comment faire pour obtenir le bon chemin lors de la décompression ? Je ne sais même pas en fait comment bien formuler ma recherche dans "man" ou Google et consort roll

Bonsoir à tous,

Je vous explique rapidement mon problème. J'ai décidé récemment, pour le fun, de transformer une tablette Android "100% made in China" en écran tactile pour ma voiture (avec GPS, lecteur multimédia et, éventuellement, kit main libre bluetooth). C'est plus pour le coté programmation que le coté réellement économique (encore que...).

Rien à voir avec Ubuntu me dirait vous, mais il se trouve que, de ce que j'ai pu analyser, le système d'exploitation Android est stocké... sur une clef USB démontée et cachée dans la tablette (véridique ! je n'y ai pas cru moi-même au démontage ; voir pour preuve la photo jointe).

Je cherche maintenant tout simplement à copier l'intégralité du contenu de cette clef (via DD ou autre) sur un autre support pour avoir, d'une part une backup, et d'autre part, éventuellement réussir à faire tourner l'image obtenue sous Virtualbox (pour y tester mes propres applications et obtenir une ROM Android spécial voiture).

Lorsque je branche la clef USB "Android", la commande lsusb me donne les indications suivantes :

Bonjour à tous,

Je rencontre de gros problèmes pour créer un RAID 1 en utilisant mdadm. Ce RAID a un historique un peu compliqué, ce qui explique sans doute mes difficultés !

Ce RAID logiciel est basé sur 2 disques (/dev/sdb et /dev/sdc) strictement identique de 2To. A l'origine, le RAID était constitué de disques plus petits (2 x 1To) et j'avais (il y a de cela plusieurs années) dupliqué les données et agrandi l'array pour passer sur les 2 disques actuels. J'ai du à ce moment faire une mauvaise manipulation et me suis retrouvé avec un RAID un peu bancal, mais fonctionnel (des erreurs de filesystem non reconnu de mémoire). Il y a de cela quelques mois, un des disque de 2To a lâché (problème hardware) et j'ai du retirer le disque fautif de l'array... et là les ennuis ont commencé : impossible de remonter le RAID, pas possible de formater correctement l'array, etc.

Bref, j'aimerai tout reprendre à zéro et repartir sur des bases saines (les données sont de toute manières sauvegardées ailleurs smile ) ! Mais impossible jusqu'à présent d'obtenir un résultat correct et sain : l'array passe de /dev/md0 à /dev/md127 lors des redémarrages ; le filesystem du /dev/sdc est directement en ext4 après formatage sans que j'en ai fait le choix, etc. Et j'ai pourtant suivi scrupuleusement la doc !

Bref, j'aurai bien besoin d'une bonne âme (ou plusieurs) pour me faire un diagnostic du problème. J'ai pour le moment :
stoppé le RAID (mais pourquoi /dev/md127 alors que j'ai configuré un /dev/md0 ???)

sudo mdadm --stop /dev/md127

effacé les superblocks des 2 disques

sudo mdadm --zero-superblock /dev/sdb1
sudo mdadm --zero-superblock /dev/sdc1

retiré et purgé mdadm

sudo apt-get apurge mdadm

retiré les configuration existantes

sudo rm -rf /etc/mdadm/

et formaté totalement (du moins je l'espère...) les disques /dev/sdb et /dev/sdc avec l'aide de gparted

sudo fdisk /dev/sdb

Commande (m pour l'aide): p

A priori, les disques sont bons... Je réinstalle mdadm :

sudo apt-get install mdadm

Reboot, je vérifie qu'il n'y a aucun array en cours

sudo mdadm --detail --scan

(aucun retour), je formate /dev/sdb et /dev/sdc comme indiqué dans la doc

Bonjour à tous,

Je cherche à installer sur un vieux coucou (un ordinateur portable Packard Bell EasyNote C3300) un serveur X sur une distribution ubuntu-server.

Aucun problème pour installer ubuntu-server 12.10, je suis en ligne de commande sans problème. Par contre, impossible d’obtenir une session X gnome (installé via la commande « sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends ubuntu-desktop »). [A noter que c’est la même chose avec un live CD ubuntu-desktop 12.10 ou 13.04, aucun d’entre eux ne parvient à tourner sous X…]

A l’heure actuelle, j’ai retiré toute la configuration automatique (c’est à dire tout le contenu du répertoire /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ ) et j’ai configuré X via un fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf dont le contenu est disponible ci-après :

Lorsque je lance X via startx, tout se passe de manière normale jusqu'à ce qu'apparaisse la souris (que je peux déplacer correctement) et 2-3 secondes après... c'est le crash !

J’aurai tendance à dire qu’il y a problème avec le touchpad, mais je n’en suis pas sur. Et je n’ai encore rien de trouvé de probant en fouillant sur la toile…

Bonjour à tous,

Je fais face depuis maintenant plusieurs jours à une erreur un brin... agaçante.

J'utilise 2 comptes en ligne via le gestionnaire de compte en ligne Gnome (Ubuntu Online Accounts) :
- un Google pour mon courrier, agenda, contacts (Evolution), documents et photo (ShotWell et autre indexation)
- un Facebook, principalement pour le chat via Empathy

Tout marchait parfaitement bien jusqu'à il y a de cela quelques jours. Et depuis, sans raison apparente, le gestionnaire de compte ne parvient plus à se connecter ni sur le compte Google ("Données d'authentification expirées. Connectez-vous à nouveau"), ni sur le compte Facebook ("L'authentification a échouée").

Evolution me donne une erreur du type "GDBus.Error:org.gnome.OnlineAccounts.Error.NotAuthorized: Credentials not found in keyring (goa-error-quark, 0): Failed to retrieve credentials from the keyring"

Bref, je suis complétement bloqué : je ne peux ni lire mes mails, ni mettre à jour mes adresses, etc. etc.

Une piste de recherche serait la bienvenue (en dehors du supprimer le compte/réouvrir le compte qui me semble être un pis-aller... mais bon)

Après pas mal de recherches, il m'aura fallu installer le paquet telepathy pour "débloquer" mon compte Google. Il semble que ce paquet soit nécessaire pour faire un bon fonctionnement...

Sinon, mon compte FB est lui toujours bloqué :-/

Je travaille pour une petite association et nous utilisons un serveur de fichier (Ubuntu Serveur) pour pouvoir partager rapidement et facilement nos différents fichiers. Chaque utilisateur (tous les postes, sauf le serveur, tournent sous Windows XP) possède son identifiant sur le serveur/samba et nous avons un accès windows XP avec le même nom et MDP.

Ça marchait super bien jusqu'à il y a quelques jours et semble-t-il, une MAJ (je n'ai en effet rien modifié à notre configuration). Ci-joint des extraits du smb.conf :

Le soucis est que maintenant, le fichier, dossier, etc. créé par une personne A n'est lisible, etc. que par... la personne A

Bref, j'ai du mal à m'expliquer ce qui se passe, et tout l’intérêt du serveur de fichier est en train de voler en éclat... Toute aide serait la bienvenue, j'avoue que je ne comprends pas !

Il semble que l'on progresse ; j'ai en effet rajouté depuis ce matin une instruction

create mask= 0664
directory mask = 0775

sur toutes les configurations des répertoires samba (dans le fichier smb.conf) et depuis, les choses avancent (possible d'accéder, lire, etc les fichiers ou dossiers créés par un autre utilisateur). Mais cela reste à vérifier à l'usage (et en ligne de commande...)
