je contaste avec bonheur qu'avec cette nouvelle version 14.04 on peut peut enfin paramètré un peu plu de chose et faire en sorte qu'elle nous ressemble plus. Bonne chose même si il reste encore pas mal de chose a faire pour rendre cela vraiment paramétrable.
Donc j'ai voulue installer le nouveau theme d'icones Suru, que je n'ai pas trouvé dans Ubuntu, sur Internet je le trouve mais il quand le le met via Unity Tweak, ca ne ma change aucune icone????

Auriez vous déja eu ce problème?

Et deuxième petit soucis savez vous comment peut- on faire pour avoir les barres de menus, et menus déroulants et pop-up menus en noir ?
Merci de vos éclairages.

J'ai résolu mon problème a ma manière et au lieu de vouloir un thème noir bah j'ai fait dans le blancs gris avec Radiance et j'ai ajouté ce superbe thème d'icônes :

Bonjour je tourne depuis 12h sur Ubunut 14.04 LTS, très content d'avoir une nouvelle version mais constatant quelques bug des plus agacant comme celui-ci :

Je ne vois donc pas les bords gauche et droit de mon écran et je peux pas l'utiliser.
Je suis allé voir dans les propriété d'écran mais je n'ai rien trouvé.
Auriez vous une petite idée!

Oui je pense que ca doit etre liée a ma CG qui est une nvidia, mais je ne sais plus comment installer le controler? car dans le menu "Pilotes, il me dit que aucun pilote proprio est installé et ca marche très bein sans mon grd écran (qui est externe), je vais allé voir la doc.

C'était bien une histoire de pilote, j'avais gardé cette option comme dernière probabilité...domage ;-)

Bonjour j'ai voulue installer l'environement Gnome sur mon petite 14.04 (unity) ceci fait, le trouvant moche j'ai voulue le vire, ok je l'ai supprimé via USC.
Mais il reste tjr l'écran greeter (lightDM) de gnome et pas celui d'Unity!!!
Sauriez-vous comment remettre en place le bon écran d’accueil?

Bonjour à tous! Mon problème est trèèèès simple a expliquer.
Mon disque dur externe ne monte pas sa partition! J'ai donc essayé Gparted, qui ne le vois pas, quand ) TestDisk il ne le vois pas non plus! Que dois-je faire a votre avis?

Edit : le disk est en NTFS et mon pc tourne sous Ubunut 12.04 LTS.

Si mon disque refuse de se montrer est-ce que ça veut dire que le MBR est fichue?  Comment rétablir la table des partitions tout en conservant mes fichiers ?

J'y pense en lisant plus en détail le message retour de

 udisks --show-info /dev/sdb1

Est -ce que ces trois lignes suivante ne montre pas que le disque se monte bien et qu'il est reconnus qq part dans le système ?

Je m'étais trompé dans les branchement et j'avais branché un autre disque dur au lieu de celui malade, c'est pour ça que les info étaient erronées.
voila le retour de la commande (tjr sur le bon disque dur --> le grand malade)
