salut,

Personnelement, je viens d'abandonner pour passer à 100% ubuntu ... Il reste cependant quelques problème : temps de démarra très long (il passse par une page qui décrit les RAID et autres (je ne sais pas ce que c'est ...) et il y a des problèmes avec le Wifi qui est plutot lent

depuis hier exactement, je n'ai plus de wifi ... je n'ai même plus d'interface réseau sans fil ...

j'éspère que cela pourra vous aider à m'aider à résoudre ce problème... C'est un peu pénible de ne pas pouvoir avoir accès au wifi ...

De plus, quand je veux installer le pilote propriétaire "broadcom sta" This package contains Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4313-, BCM4321-, BCM4322-, BCM43224-, and BCM43225-, BCM43227- and BCM43228-based hardware.

merci pour ta réponse. Je viens de faire la manip que tu me conseil, mais ça n'a rien changé du tout, mon network sans fil est toujours unclaimed et jene peux toujours pas installer le pilote propriétaire pour broadcom

Alors, la réponse du dpkg :

sudo dpkg -i | grep b43
[sudo] password : 
dpkg : erreur : --install a besoin d'au moins un fichier archive de paquet comme paramètre

Utiliser « dpkg --help » pour une obtenir une aide sur l'installation et la désinstallation des paquets [*] ;
Utiliser « dselect » ou « aptitude » pour gérer les paquets de manière
plus conviviale ;
Utiliser « dpkg -Dhelp » pour obtenir une liste des valeurs drapeaux de débogage ;
Utiliser « dpkg --force-help » pour consulter la liste des options de forçage ;
Utiliser « dpkg-deb --help » pour obtenir une aide sur la manipulation des fichiers *.deb ;

Les options marquées d'un [*] affichent beaucoup d'informations - tubez-les à travers « less » ou « more ».

j'ai l'impression qu'il n'a pas fait ce qu'il devait faire ...

j'ai essayé la manip que tu suggère, mais rien à faire, ça n'a rien changer, toujours impossible de voir mon interface wifi ou même d'activer les pilotes additionnelles ...

Pour essayer grub, je n'ai pas d'autre kernel sur mon ordi

Alors voilà mon problème, j'ai installer PlayOnLinux et je n'arrive pas à faire tourner un jeux :

toujours le même problème, et sur le forum de PoL, impossible d'avoir de l'aide, si ce n'est pour me dire que j'ai mal installer mes drivers ... alors que tout à l'air de bien marcher

Je viens d'installer Kubuntu sur mon ordi HP-Envy 4 (il prend tout le disque dur).
Malheureusement, depuis cette installation, à chaque fois que je démarre l'ordi, je suis sur une page style DOS où il y a écrit des trucs sur le RAID. Or, je ne sais pas du tout comment utiliser / fonctionne ces trucs là ...
Ce que j'aimerai, c'est que mon ordi démarre sans passer par là...

Ensuite, un autre question : j'ai un DD SSD, comment puis-je faire pour que le démarrage se fasse sur ce disque ? (histoire d'accélérer le boot ) ?

Je ne sais pas comment j'ai fait, mais comme par magie, ça marche maintenant. J'ai juste un petit problème de lenteur du wifi ... Et je ne sais pas comment régler.
Mon wifi est toujours sous le nom eth1 (ce qui je trouve aussi est bizare ...
j'ai refait la dernière et j'obtiens :

Je ne sais pas ce qui se passe ni où es le problème, mais la connection est très erratique et lente ... (alors que normalement le signal est plutôt bon)

du coup, ça n'avance à rien ... Je ne sais pas pourquoi il n'y à pas d'information sur la gestion d'energie et malgrés que je sois bien connecté (j'ai verifié), j'obtiens le même résultat pour iwconfig eth1 ...
A mon avis, il ne sait pas trop quoi chercher, et peut être que le remettre à sa place (en wlan) pourrait resoudre le problème ?
Je savais que le réseau était bon normalement car je captait très boen avec mon smartphone (c'était plus rapide que sur l'ordi via le wifi).
Pour être proches des antennes, je ne sais pas trop, mais en général, ça capte plutot bien (genre plusieurs Mo/s)

en fait la partition libre n'en ai pas une ... j'ai déjà installer le linux dessus mais windows ne le détecte pas. Par contre Gparted si ...
La clé usb serait une solution, mais je trouve que c'est assez lourd comme façon de faire (il faut toujours avoir sa clé usb à porté de main ...)

Quand à la partition Tools , il y a quoi dedans ? sachant que j'ai déjà viré recovery ? C'est quand même bizare de faire 4 partition dès la sortie d'usine ?

Bon, j'en ai marre de ce bazar, je vais tous reformater et installer seulement Kubuntu, ca devrait marcher non ?
Si je veux pouvoir dans un futur réinstaller Win7, qu'est ce que je dois sauvegarder ?
