Encore une fois, NéoUbuntonien, tu aurais mieux fait de ne pas embrouiller ubunteur23 et de le laisser entre les mains de PPdM qui lui proposait une solution simple.

@ Bertrand49 : pour un débutant, une commande générique n'est pas vraiment d'une grande utilité.

Ça n'est pas un manque de politesse que de te rappeler ce qui t'a déjà été dit plusieurs fois par d'autres avec peut-être d'autres termes : tes interventions ne sont pas toujours très appropriées à la situation, et en plus très souvent, elles viennent interférer avec ce que d'autre membres font, même quand ces membres en savent certainement plus que toi sur la question. Tu es un nouveau qui apprend, sois un peu modeste et regarde ce que font les autres.

J'ajoute que le respect envers quelqu'un ne consiste pas à le laisser dire et faire n'importe quoi. Et pour te défendre, utiliser de bon arguments est quand même mieux que de "remettre la personne à sa place".

Bonjour,

Tu as installé Ubuntu dans une machine virtuelle, c'est bien ça ? Donc si ton windows a bien une connexion internet fonctionnelle, le problème ne peut venir que de la configuration de ta machine virtuelle.

Bonjour,

Effectivement, la qualité est assez dégueu, mais je te suggère de changer les paramètres de ta box (ça doit pouvoir se faire sur son interface de gestion) pour qu'elle utilise un autre canal. Ce simple changement a permis à d'autres sur ce forum de régler leur problème de connexion wifi ressemblant au tien.

Si la distance est trop importante et s'il y a des murs à traverser, ça affaiblit pas mal le signal. Si tu n'arrive vraiment pas avec le wifi, il reste les boîtiers CPL.

Bonsoir,

Re-tente l'installation de gksu :

sudo apt-get install gksu

Comme tu es en liveUSB, pour le mot de passe demandé je crois qu'il suffit de faire <entrée>
Évidemment, à la prochaine utilisation du liveUSB, il faudra recommencer.

Après ça, tu peux lancer Nautilus avec :

gksudo nautilus

Tu as une connexion internet ? C'est indispensable pour télécharger le paquet.

Je viens de vérifier : dans une session live, même avec une connexion internet, on ne peut pas installer gksu, il faut d'abord activer le dépôt universe (logiciels maintenus par la communauté) dans les sources. C'est préférable d'avoir une liveUSB persistante pour garder cette installation.

Il ne suffit pas de cocher la case qui va bien, il faut aussi recharger la liste des paquets :

sudo apt-get update

Après, tu peux réessayer d'installer.

Je ne suis pas du tout spécialiste des problèmes de wifi, d'autres sont largement meilleurs que moi et les retours pourront sûrement leur servir.

Comment as-tu choisi ton canal wifi ? Avec l'application android Wifi Analyzer ? Tu as bien pris un canal qui n'est pas utilisé par les voisins ?

Si tu sais (peux) le faire, as-tu désactivé le wifi n qui déconne souvent d'après ce que j'ai compris ?

PS: le nom de mon SSID est bien "Neverland" (rien à voir avec le ranch de Michael Jackson, je tiens à rassurer tout le monde...) big_smile

Le Process 10653 est le serveur X, qui plante sans donner plus d'information.

Il faudrait jeter un œil dans le journal du serveur, en /var/log/Xorg0.log,

Je ne suis pas certaine d'avoir capturé le bon fichier log parce que quand X plante, je ne peux même plus changer de tty. Voilà ce que j'ai fait :
- d'abord dpkg-reconfigure lightdm
- reboot → freeze complet avec message broken pipe
- reboot en recovery
- choix d'une option qui monte les partitions en lecture/écriture (réparation des paquets cassé)
- copie de Xorg.0.log et Xorg.0.log.old vers mon /home
- dpkg-reconfigure gdm et reboot

Après tout ça, je pense que :
Xorg.0.log est celui du boot en recovery donc il est bon
Xorg.0.log.old est celui du boot avec lightdm
J'ai tout bon jusque là ?

Je te mets les 2 fichiers si tu veux les comparer mais si j'ai bien vu (avec Meld), il n'y a qu'une ligne de plus dans Xorg.0.log.old (ligne 390).

Je n'avais jamais eu de problèmes avec Ubuntu Tweak jusqu'à présent (ça fait plusieurs années que je l'utilise) mais à l'avenir, je ferai davantage attention smile

Bonjour,

TheMister18, je te propose déjà d'essayer les deux LTS depuis ton disque dur, après on verra pour l'installation.

Commence par télécharger les 2 ISO (prends les desktop avec l'architecture qui te convient) là pour 12.04.5 et là pour 14.04.1.

Ensuite, ouvre Nautilus en root avec :

gksudo nautilus

et copie ces 2 ISO dans la racine de ton système de fichiers.
puis quitte Nautilus.

Il faut maintenant ajouter 2 entrées au menu de démarrage de GRUB2 :
ouvre le fichier /etc/grub.d/40_custom en root :

gksudo gedit /etc/grub.d/40_custom

Il contient en principe peu de lignes :

Enregistre et quite Nautilus.

Il faut maintenant mettre à jour grub :

sudo update-grub

Il te reste à redémarrer et pour faire apparaître le menu de démarrage, tu appuis le plus tôt possible sur <MAJ> en laissant enfoncée jusqu'à ce que tu voies le menu. Choisis l'ISO que tu veux et surtout Essayer Ubuntu".

Pas forcément, mais en cherchant sur le forum et en lisant même les sujets auxquels on sait qu'on ne pourra rien apporter, on apprend des trucs qui peuvent donner des pistes à l'occasion. Je n'ai pas de livebox, mais c'est en lisant des fils que j'ai vu ça. Pourquoi, ça je ne sais pas.
