Bonjour
J'ai renouvellé mon portable par un asus n552-vw avec une carte nvidia GTX960m, Après avoir résolu quelques soucis à l'installation (secure boot) j'ai installé le pilote propriétaire nvidia (352) avec prime. tout marche bien excepté le démarrage très lent (entre 20 et 60 minutes). Ce problème n'existe pas avec bumblebee qui me pose un problème de ventilation tournant au maximum en permanence. xorg est en version 1.18 ci-joint mon xorg.conf

Bonsoir,
après modification du grub, le redémarrage se fait en mode console, la résolution s'adapte bien aux possibilités de l'écran, mais le déroulement s'arrête sur "SMB/CIFS ..." sans affichage de l'écran graphique de connexion.
Si j'appuie sur le bouton marche arrêt, l'écran graphique de connexion apparaît fugacement.

Hélas, en effet, ça n'a pas fonctionné.
Je n'utilise plus bumblebee et ça a été compliqué de revenir à prime proprement.
Je ne comprend pas très bien à quel niveau ajouter "nomodeset"

Bonjour,
Hélas celà ne fonctionne pas non plus.
J'ai bien l'affichage du splash screen, mais au moment de commuter vers l'écran noir avant lightdm, au lieu d'une poursuite des échanges avec le disque, la diode de celui-ci s'éteint que pour ne s'allumer que très rarement.
Est-ce vraiment grub qui est en cause ou xorg ?

Me voilà sous Xenial. Il restait, dans trusty, un petit bug dans Dolphin (allongement anarchique de la lite des emplacements).

Plasma 5 me convient parfaitement, mais quelques régressions tout de même :
- dolphin n'affiche pas les aperçus pdf et vidéos après installation de kdegraphics-thumbnailer et ffmpegthumb et configuration
- absence du plasmoïde pictureframe,
- le plasmoïde yawp ne fonctionne pas
- le plasmoïde vue de dossier ne peut s'agrandir quand placer sur le bureau
- ogmrip se fige à l'extraction des fichiers
- kmail n'affiche à nouveau plus les photos des contacts (quand existantes) dans l'entête de mail comme lors du passage de kde3 à kde4
- les paquets superkaramba, kpat et skype ne sont pas accessibles dans les dépots
- le paquet musique est toujours en version 1.1 (1.2 ou 1.4 (mais dépendance vlc) aurait été sympa)

"Skip" est dans le dépôt partenaire, si tu ne le vois pas. Vérifie que le dépôt est actif smile
Edit: kpat est présent aussi.

Je les ai trouvé sur internet mais le dépot partenaires n'apparait pas dans les dépots.

Le panneau emplacements de Dolphin (KDE 4.13.3 Trusty-64) ne cesse de créer de nouveaux emplacements (dossiers personnels, réseaux, racine, corbeille). Celà ralenti énormément Dolphin. Comment puis-je purger les données de ce panneau ?

Oui, en repassant à la version kde 4.13.3 et en nettoyant le fichier ~/.kde/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml

Bonjour,

Après mise à jour de skype vers la version 4.3 sous kubuntu 14.04 (64bits), le son ne fonctionne plus (sons système de démarrage, test d'appel).
pavucontrol ne voit plus skype (4.2 ni 4.3) comme sous kubuntu 12.04 (64 bits).
Retour donc à la version 4.2 de skype, en attendant une solution.

Le passage au noyau 3.13.0-33 ne change rien et skype 4.2 ne se connecte plus !!!

Bonjour,
C'est le mode isolé qui ne permettait pas le fonctionnement. en mode d'installation normal ça fonctionne avec le noyau 3.13.0-34

En utilisant pavucontrol et le module de test d'appel tu pourras vérifier les niveaux du son et du micro.

Bonjour,
Je souhaiterais, comme sur ubuntu ou elementary, avoir à l'écran de connexion et au splash screen, le fond d'écran utilisateur en cours (kubuntu 14.04 lts)
Je n'ai pas trouver les infos pour l'instant.

Résolu...
C'est une modification dans le fichier de la ligne DISTRIB_CODENAME dans /etc/lsb-release qui provoquait le problème
