Bonjour,
Mon Ubuntu est en panne depuis un mois. D'abord sous 10.04 et malgré réinstallation, mises à jour etc..., les problèmes continuent sous 14.04 : Ubuntu s'obstinent à démarrer sur une partition erronée, malgré le fstab  et les réparation par Boot-Repair, ce qui entraîne lenteur et perte des USB.

Tout d'abord la config du PC : Ma config : core: AMD 64 Fx6100 6 coeurs AM3+ , CM : MSI 990FXA GD65, carte graphique Asus GTX 550TI 1Go, RAM Corsair DDR3 1600 8Go, Disque SSD de 120 Go Corsair Force GT (où est installé Ubuntu), 2 disques WD 2 To + 1 de 500 Go (tous en Ext4)
Ubuntu (la racine / ) est sur le Corsair SSD. Une fois sur 5 (ou 10) un "bon" boot se fait sur sda1 (ou se trouve /) correspondant à Fstab et blkid, et là, la machine tourne rond avec ses USB et tout et tout. Mais la plupart du temps, un reboot se fait sur sdd ou sdb (devenu sdd1 ou sdb1), là fstab ne correspond plus à blkid et tout va mal, voire démarre en kernel panic... Si j'aligne fstab sur blkid: même chose, si je débranche tous les disques: idem. Le /media est fou : des USB non fonctionnels (lsusb ne peut s'afficher) et un des disques se monte obstinément sur un fichier du même nom que mon dossier personnel.

Le disque "Volume 2To" est dans le fichier lrdp, malgré le fait d'avoir débranché le disque, formaté, changé la partition... et supprimé ce ficher vide "lrdp" de /media, il se recrée automatiquement.

Il y a trois disques internes, les disques externes ne sont pas branchés puisque pas d'USB fonctionnel (à part, curieusement, celui qui détecte souris et clavier, qui freeezent quelques minutes après un démarrage). Je pensais aussi qu'Ubuntu avait une partie sur un disque (le "Volume 2To ou UUID= xxxx63934), mais je l'ai vidé, formaté etc... J'ai mentionné "débranché" pour indiquer que j'ai essayé de tourner avec le SSD seul, en débranchant les internes, l'ordinateur éteint.

je ne branche plus de disque en USB externe depuis la panne, attendant que lsusb fonctionne, indiquant alors que tout marche.

Merci Bougron, mais cela semble Résolu !! lol
Après avoir écrit le post #3, j'ai booté sur une Debian Wheezy, et elle bloquait en indiquant lors du splash "disabling IRQ22". J'ai relancé Ubuntu et vérifié Dmesg qui, sur une petite ligne ([   28.602224] Disabling IRQ #22) indique la même chose; j'ai rouvert la tour et enlevé une petite carte PCI-USB avec un port interne que j'utilisais pour alimenter la plaque Watercooling du CPU. Reboot et là, Miracle, les USB refonctionnent!! Je peux brancher Disques durs USB, clefs USB 2 & 3 sans soucis! Et cela faisait cafouiller tout le système d'exploitation et la machine. Mais c'est inquiétant qu'un matériel insignifiant puisse emm... autant, même dangereux car j'ai déjà eu la prise d'alimentation d'un lecteur DVD qui a fondu, sans aucun symptôme, risquant ainsi un incendie!! quand on pense qu'on laisse généralement tourner les ordis 24h/24.
J'ai encore un peu de problème avec le /dev/sdc1: LABEL="Volume 2To" UUID="5e728d9a-d92b-40db-b5e2-53c715b63934" qui se monte dans un dossier virtuel de /media (en /media/lrdp) empêchant le changement de permission ou le partage, n'étant pas accessible en ligne de commande, ni par Nautilus en root qui plante si j'explore le disque.

Je mets RESOLU.

Voilà, le petit problème du 2To est aussi résolu en passant par l'ex-Palimpset (Disques dans le Dash de Trusty), en modifiant le montage en manuel, il cherche à se monter alors dans /mnt avec comme nom son UUID; le montage bloque par caprice en indiquant que "x-gvfs-show" empêche le montage dans fstab; j'ai mis "comment=x-gvfs-show", et çà se monte tout seul, j'ai ensuite modifié les permissions par Nautilus sur ses propriétés affichées dans /mnt. C'est un peu anarchique entre /media et /mnt mais çà marche tranquillement, c'est le principal!
2 fois RESOLU donc.

Désolé de ne pas répondre si tôt, mais j'ai du m'absenter.
Les diverses manoeuvres n'ont rien changé, toujours aussi lent. Encore un fait surprenant : en essayant un live cd de Precise, corrompu apparemment car le disque comporte des erreurs, j'ai fait un memtest qui n'indique pas d'erreur et en rebootant : pas de problème...?? rapidité, reconnaissance des disques, ouverture des logiciels rapides... Difficile à comprendre tout çà.

Mon fstab me parait erroné : le swap n'est pas à sa place, il ne fait pas mention de sda qui contient / , ne monte aucun disque et ne correspond pas à mtab.

J'ai modifié fstab et mtab par Disk-manager. L'ordi redémarre mais toujours le même bug.
Je crois savoir d'où vient la panne : au tout début, après cette autre panne réseau liée à une extinction de la machine pendant 3 semaines, j'ai essayé d'installer Precise après avoir télécharger l'image iso sur un Mac, mais l'installation n'a pu se faire, le disque comportant manifestement des erreurs, j'ai donc réinstaller Lucid et depuis ce bug de lenteur persiste. par contre, quand je lance le disque corrompu de Precise, même pour le tester, et reboot après , Lucid fonctionne parfaitement, j'en conclue que le disque Precise a installé quelques données qui empêche Lucid de fonctionner normalement, mais alors en connaitre le détail... gros mystère. je profite du bon fonctionnement pour graver une bonne image d'une nouvelle version.

Question intéressante, Moko138. En fait j'ai depuis longtemps été attiré par autre chose que Windows. J'ai commencé l'informatique en 1989 avec le Dos qui était facile et intéressant à l'époque, mais l'évolution de Microsoft, surtout dans ce but commercial qui l'anime, m'a fortement déplu et depuis XP je cherchais autre chose, j'ai essayé Mandrake (ne connaissant pas Ubuntu) et j'étais un peu dérouté, trop formaté par Windows et obligé, professionnellement parlant, d'utiliser XP au bureau; puis, après une panne matérielle de ma machine à domicile que j'utilise pour le loisir, j'ai installé Karmic Koala pour découvrir Linux, fortement aidé par la Communauté qui est géniale pour les débutants, et pour les autres aussi, j'ai mis du temps pour passer à Lucid qui marche très bien, sauf après un arrêt prolongé (même panne qu'il y a deux ans), et je mets du temps à passer aux autres versions (ayant comme adage: " pourquoi changer quelque chose qui marche?"). Mais le temps me manque pour améliorer mes connaissances de Linux, aussi je cafouille pour réparer un problème comme celui de ce post. Je profite de cette session qui marche comme citée en #16 pour télécharger et graver plusieurs versions Live-CD et Live-USB pour mettre à niveau Lucid vers Precise et un peu plus tard Trusty, autant profiter des améliorations. Mais c'est vrai que je me fais mal à Unity, préférant une interface dépouillée comme Gnome (d'ailleurs que j'avais sous Mandrake).

Merci pour tous ces conseils. Pas question d'abandonner Linux, j'aime trop. J'ai confondu le Mac de mon épouse sur lequel nous avons mis 16 Go, mon desktop n'a effectivement que 8 (je l'ai monté il y a déjà deux ans, çà passe vite). J'ai déjà utilisé Disk-manager auparavant et il fonctionne très bien chez moi, malgré les critiques recueillies sur le Forum. Le Fstab obtenu est cohérent:

A noter que ce disque "maitre" sda est un SSD de 120 Go, cela peut, peut-être, interférer avec le contrôle. Curieux comme panne : lorsque je lance le disque image corrompu de Precise, cela rétabli la situation (le contrôle de ce disque DVD en live indique des erreurs secteurs) et, ayant pu avoir un bon live-DVD de Precise, la panne de lenteur revient... Grrr. C'est pour çà que je demande de l'aide, car c'est incompréhensible pour mon niveau et j'ignore si une installation de Precise ou Trusty rétablira les choses...?

Non, il n'y a pas plusieurs entrées de partitions ou de fichiers.
Je suis toujours dans une session "lente" et je m'aperçois que fstab (que je regardais pour suivre les conseils au sujet de la page sur SSD et TRIM) est comme ceci:

Alors que dans les deux-trois sessions normales que j'avais hier et ce matin mtab était cohérent avec fstab. Dans l'utilitaire de disque, sda était dans le SSD maitre quand cela fonctionnait normalement, par contre, il indique sdc1 lorsque c'est buggé. Quand j'ai réinstallé Ubuntu pour réparer le réseau, il était demandé d'indiquer une partition d'installation ou sda n'était pas inscrite, mais sdc disponible et je l'ai pris en compte, pensant qu'il ne s'agissait que d'un processus temporaire, il y a donc une confusion entre sda et sdc au démarrage, à priori.

Comme je vois que je m'enfonce dans l'erreur, j'ai suivi le tuto pour la commande TRIM pour le SSD, qui est probablement en train de défaillir, sur cette page : http://www.webupd8.org/2013/01/enable-t … rives.html 
mais la vérification:  "sudo fstrim -v /" indique "command not found", voici /etc/cron.daily/trim :

Problème matériel : la carte-mère (MSI 990FX)est détériorée ou incompatible avec le kernel : en voulant préparer une clef USB pour les commandes TRIM, les ports USB étaient invisibles sous Lucid. En installant Precise (NB:pas de son), la lenteur a disparu, et tout marchait convenablement, jusqu'à un reboot ou là, les ports USB disparaissent de nouveau, pour réapparaitre après une extinction de la machine de plusieurs jours et redisparaitre lors d'un reboot.

J'ai des périphériques  reconnus comme une tablette graphique, un récepteur pour clavier sans fil, un joystick, mais il ne se passe rien quand je branche une clef USB 2 ou 3  ni un disque externe. Une live-usb est reconnue au démarrage, mais pas lors d'une session. Cela ne semble pas matériel comme problème. mad

Bonjour,
Je cherche à résoudre une panne complexe : depuis une extinction prolongée en juin de mon PC en Lucid 10.04, j'avais perdu le réseau local et internet; après moult bidouilles, je perdais des USB (disques externes, cartes SD sur un dock USB, clés USB...) mais pas le clavier ni la souris ni un joystick, de plus Ubuntu était lent et ne pouvait s'éteindre (message final : mount is busy, killing alla applications fail...). J'ai essayé le passage en Precise 12.04: ordi moins lent, mais toujours pas d'USB ni de sons, ni de reboot simple. Je passe en 14.04 : toujours pas d'USB (sauf clavier, souris), reboot simple bloqué comme l'extinction.
Ma config : core: AMD 64 Fx6100 6 coeurs AM3+ , CM : MSI 990FXA GD65, carte graphique Asus GTX 550TI 1Go, RAM Corsair DDR3 1600 8Go, Disque SSD de 120 Go Corsair Force GT (où est installé Ubuntu), 2 disques WD 2 To + 1 de 500 Go (tous en Ext4)
Je tente de faire un lsusb : le terminal se bloque (alors que cela marchait en 12.04, indiquant que seul les ports du clavier, de la souris, du joystick étaient détectés). Je suis  perdu..

Je pensai aussi que c'était matériel, mais lors de l'essai en live-disk de Trusty, tout marchait bien : reconnaissance des disques en USB, montage de périphériques spontanés... L'installation de la 14.04 a été difficile, a nécessité l'emploi d'un disque Boot-repair pour le Grub, mais une fois installée, la 14.04 n'a pas réparé les problèmes. Chose curieuse aussi, le boot-repair une fois utilisé s'éteignait correctement, mais après utilisation de la 14.04 installée, même le boot-repair ne s'éteint plus et ne monte pas les disques USB accessoires. Comme j'ai fait finalement des mises à niveau entre chaque versions, il doit y avoir un fichier ou un paquet corrompu, ou un blacklist qui persiste dans la racine et qui provoque la panne., mais quoi ??

Bon, j'ai fait des manips pour avancer : comme la 14.04 semble très sensible à l'affichage, j'ai réinstaller le pilote nvidia en purgeant tout ce qui pouvait interférer (notamment les couches Wine) et installant le pilote 331. Après une extinction de plus de 24h de la machine, j'ai eu une session impec : tous les USB reconnus et l'arrêt shutdown OK. Mais au redémarrage, les problèmes reviennent : les ports USB sur lesquels je tente de brancher des disques externes ou clefs USB ne sont pas reconnus et "lsusb" est bloqué (????) . Curieusement, lorsque qu'un des disques non / est monté en sda , le problème est présent (/ est alors en sdc1) . J'ai pourtant fait et refait boot-repair, mais cela ne change rien. A croire que quand la machine est chaude, elle ne peut plus s'arrêter et ne reconnaît pas les disques en USB. Pourtant, le proc et la carte vidéo ne dépassent pas les 45°, et il n'y a pas de poussières (le proc est refroidi par un watercooling). Il y a peut-être un bug entre les disques : je me souviens avoir indiquer, lors d'une réinstallation de Lucid, un point de Grub sur ce disque qui se met en première place dans la fenêtre de "Disques" (du Dash, Palimpset n'existant plus) alors que Ubuntu est installé sur un autre (le SSD), mais ayant purgé Grub et le réinstaller correctement à l'installation de Trusty et fait Boot-repair, je pense que cela ne doit pas interférer.

Çà parait compliqué roll , mais je donne des infos pour essayer d'avoir de l'aide. N'ayant pas de disques USB, je ne peux pas faire de sauvegarde... Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider?

Problème de partitions et de boot : abandonné
