Pas de message GRUB apres installation Ubuntu 6.10

Bonjour,
Je viens d'effectuer ma première installation d'ubuntu.
L'installation s'est bien déroulée, mais je n'ai pas acces au menu GRUB pour choisir de booter sur ubuntu.

J'ai 3 HD : 1 avec windows, un autre avec mes fichiers et un 3eme avec ubuntu
J'ai créé 3 partition sur le disque ubuntu : hdc1 pour le swap, hdc2 pour la racine et hdc3 pour le home.

J'ai préciser d'installer GRUB sur hd3 (au lieu de hd0) pour l'installer ds le MBR du 3eme disque.

J'ai enfin choisi dans le bios le 3eme disque pour booter...

Mais la rien a faire, mon ordi boot sur windows...


Dans quelle direction dois-je chercher ?

Bonsoir vhenninot,

Il fallait changer le bios pour booter sur ton troisième disque dur avant de faire ton installation, de manière à ce que ce troisième disque dur devienne le premier ou (hd0).
Autre chose (hd0) c'est le MBR de ton premier disque dur, (hd3) c'est le MBR de ton quatrième disque dur.
