Bug mysql-admin non corrigé dans Dapper
Je n'ai pas trouvé d'info à ce sujet dans ce forum, alors, en espérant que cela sera utile à d'autres .....
mysql-admin se gèle quand on ouvre le panneau User Administration et il n'y a plus qu'un kill de la fenêtre pour en sortir. (mysqladmin 1.1.6)
C'est un bug identifié depuis environ un an et qui n'a pas encore été corrigé dans la Dapper (mais il devrait l'être dans Feisty) :

Pour MySQL :

Un contournement simple existe, celui de lancer mysql-admin en ayant exporté la variable DEBUG_DONT_SPAWN_FETCHES positionnée à 1.
En ce qui me concerne, j'ai crée un lanceur sur mon bureau pour appeller un script (mysql_adm) qui va exporter cette variable puis executera mysql-admin :
mysql_adm
#!/bin/bash
export DEBUG_DONT_SPAWN_FETCHES=1
/usr/bin/mysql-admin
Voilà, depuis tout est rentré dans l'ordre.
