solution "barbare" :
- quitte beryl-manager
- dans ton home supprime les dossier .beryl/  .emerald/  et le fichier .beryl-managerrc
ou deplace les dans un nouveau dossier si tu veux les sauvegarder
et bon reparamétrage big_smile

en tous cas au niveau de la carte graphique c'est nickel smile

J'ai déinstallé et réinstallé Beryl mais j'ai toujours mes 3 autres bureaux qui sont absent hmm
Edit: J'ai pas vu ton poste ci-dessus. Je test ça wink

J'ai trouvé la solution pour les bureaux. big_smile

J'avais en fait coché "Le gestionnaire de bureau supporte les lecteurs virtuels"

L'imposibilité de voir ce que j'avais était dû au fait que  je testais les options dans l'un des bureau absent (pour voire la réaction en direct). Quant de décochais cette option, cela rendait tous les bureaux invisibles, je ne pouvais donc pas m'en apercevoir.

Donc en fait, il faut décocher: "Le gestionnaire de bureau supporte les lecteurs virtuels" qui se trouve dans "Général Options" l'onglet "Arrière plant de bureau" (A décocher en étant sur le bureau visible)

J espère que cette expérience servira pour d'autre.

salut!

/home c'est là que se trouvent tous tes réglages. Tu le trouves sous gnome, dans dossier personnel ( c'est à dire :/home/tonusername).

Maintenant, ktalog te propose de supprimer des dossiers qui sont cachés. ( ./, le point veut dire qu'il sont cachés). De façon à régénérer une config par défaut de Beryl.

Pour pouvoir supprimer ces dossiers en mode graphique tu dois activer l'option "afficher les dossiers cachés". Sinon en ligne de commande!:P. ( reinseigne-toi sur la commande "rm")

Il y a aussi le "balai" deavant les options de réglage de beryl. Ca remet aux valeurs par défaut...evidemment quand on y a tripoté, pas facile de se souvenir de tout, mais tu peux sauvegarder ta config, quand ça te plait, et y revenir quand tu ne sais plus où t'en es! ( import/export).

A priori tu est sur un portable avec une carte en pci express,
donc il y a beaucoup moins d'options à avoir.

Je viens de me faire une nouvelle config, j'y ai placé une Radeon X1600 pro 512mo en PciE.

J'instale Ubuntu et Beryl dès que je peux et je vous tien au courant.

hum une X1600 c'est par encore suporté avec le driver libre radeon donc tu est oblige d'utiliser xgl +le driver proprio fglrx
ou te faire reprendre ta carte graphique et tu prend une nvidia ou tu aura beaucoup moins de probleme sous linux (ex 7600GS ou attend la fin du mois les 8600)

Effectivement, ça fonctionne pas super avec ma X1600Pro (je ne peux pas échanger wink

J'ai tenté d'instalé les drivers ATI comme expliqué sur
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/acceleration_graphique?s=drivers%20x1600%20pro
et
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/materiel/ati_proprietaire

Mais impossible d'installer "ati-driver-installer-8.35.5-x86.x86_64.run" même avec les 2 méthodes. 

Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier /home/zapier/Desktop/ati…ler-8.35.5-x86.x86_64.run

gedit n'a pas été capable de détecter le codage des caractères.
Vérifiez que vous n'essayez pas d'ouvrir un fichier binaire.
Sélectionnez un codage des caractères dans le menu et réessayez.

La je seche:|

sinon, j'ai bien mes engrenages pour la 3D et les animations pour l'économiseur d'écran sont OK.

J'ai visuellement des trainés avec le déplacement des fenêtres et de beaux écrans tout gris au lancement de Beryl.

Je cherche encore.

Mais impossible d'installer "ati-driver-installer-8.35.5-x86.x86_64.run" même avec les 2 méthodes.

Tut tut tut, tu fais vraiment pas de la manière simple là...:rolleyes:

Essayes ça : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/fglrx

En plus avec cette méthode le driver est téléchargé depuis les dépôts, ce qui fait que tu n'auras pas besoin de réinstaller le driver à chaque changement de noyau wink.
