examiner fichier Xorg -Peut-on régler le problème ?

pour éditer mon fichier Xorg
ma commande gedit /etc/X11/xorg.confsinon il me dit Permission non accordée

voilà je suis sous Feisty Fawn carte ati x600
j'ai essayé de suivre les tutos d'installation pour beryl le driver xgl et comme je suis noob ben voilà
c'est la caca c'est la cata c'est la catastrophe
merci de m'aider ça fait 3h que je galère

"gksudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf" irait mieux je pense
