Probleme avec Grub et vista

bon jour a tous smile
Voila j ai installe ubuntu 7.04 l installe se passe bien sauf que grub ne me propose pas vista ou xp (en fait surtout vista m interesse)
j ai regarde les tutos grub mais je patauge.
vista est sur la 2eme partition du premier sata.


moi j avais ajouter ca au menu.lst

root        (hd0,1)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader    +1

mais bon ca fait rien sad

Windows n'aime pas être sur une deuxième partition... Mais je ne sais pas si le problème vient de là. Enfin y'a pas mal de chances quand même.

Envoies ton grub.conf en entier en cas.

Et bin, il est où ton windows ? hmm
Au passage tu remarques dans l'exemple que windows est installé sur la première partoche wink.

Mon grub.conf pour te donner une idée (je n'utilise pas ubuntu mais bon c'est pareil).

Ha, j'ai jamais vu de système avec les deux OS de Redmond à la fois ^^.
C'est quoi le disque en SFS ? Je connais pas ce filesystem, tu t'en sers pour quoi ?

c est bon tout marche merci smile

le SFS je pense que c est un peu le grub pour windows .
car au demarrage de hd(0.0) j ai un dual boot entre xp et vista
je pense que c est ca smile

Pourrais-tu expliquer comment tu as résolu le problème ? ca pourra servir à d'autres wink
Sinon grub est est un programme, SFS un système de fichiers, donc pas vraiment la même chose... Mais bon, j'irai voir par moi-même, ca m'occupera wink.

ba j ai mis la meme chose que toi et comme le dual boot des deux windows etait sur la premiere partition (celle de xp chez moi) j ai eu de nouveau acces a vista
