[ABANDON]Mon disque dur scsi ne fonctionne pas....
Bonjour,
Le possède un disque dur SCSI de 8GB qui fonctionne avec une carte SCSI TECKRAM dc315U. Mon problême est le suivant : le disque dur tourne bien, mais IMPOSSIBLE de le voir sous linux (je suis sous Ubuntu Feisty Fawn). Et le problême est le même avec les autres distributions de Ubuntu (et de linux d'ailleur). Je ne parviens pas a voir d'où vient le problême.

La carte est bien détectée, les modules sont bien chargés.
Le disque a l'air d'être également bien détecté. Il s'agit bien d'un Seagate ST39236LW ?
Que donne ls -l /dev/sd* et fdisk -l /dev/sda ?

Voila ce que donne ls -l /dev/sd* :
brw-rw---- 1 root disk 8, 0 2007-05-02 13:54 /dev/sda
Et voila ce que donne fdisk -l /dev/sda :
Ne peut ouvrir /dev/sda
Par contre sous root le fdisk -l /dev/sda ne donne rien (lorsque je fais entrée, aucun messages ne s'affiche) :
root@Aureschnoe:~# fdisk -l /dev/sda
root@Aureschnoe:~#

J'ai vu dans ton dmesg un READ CAPACITY failed. C'est peut-être la raison pour laquelle ton disque dur ne fonctionne pas. Teste le sur un autre OS ou sur un autre ordinateur.
Tu es certain qu'il fonctionne correctement ?

Ba justement quand j'avais windows mon disque fonctionnai parfaitement, et quand il était sur l'ordi de ma soeur c'est pareil, il marchai bien. C'est pour ça que je ne comprend pas. Et en plus, en live cd avec ubuntu, mon disque est bien vu...
