probleme avec la fonction mail de PHP

Bonjour à tous

j'ai encore et toujours un souci smile qd on debute sous linux c vrai que c chaud lol

bon j'ai installer apache php et msql avec apt-get

pour la configuration j'ai pas bouger a gd chose mais tout marche nickel ...

SAUF la fonction mail()
mon code php est bon car je l'ai tester sur un serveur web online et la ca passe tout seul

donc je me dis que ca dois surement venir de php.ini ou autre fchier de conf

Visibliment tu l'as remplacé.....

Le binaire sendmail est présent si tu as installé Postfix ou Sendmail.

Je ne suis pas sur qu'on puisse par le php.ini envoyé au smtp de ton provider sans passer par un serveur mail local.

je n'arrive jms a me connecter envoyer ou recevoir des mails
je dois etre vraiment trop nul

en fait j'ai une redirection no-ip.org vu que j'ai une ip dynamique

et j'aimerai installer un serveur mail ici pour envoyer et recevoir des mail avec comme adresse user@xxx-xxx.no-ip.org sans forcement passe par mon FAI

et de ce fait regle mon souci de php mail()

je pense que le souci viendrai peut etre du fais que je n'ai pas installer de serveur DNS ici mais c pas faute d avoir essayer lol
mais ca non plus j y arrive pas je c que c BIND qu il faut installer mais ca merde tjs

si tu pouvais m aider un peu pas a pas pour que tout ca marche cela serai sympa

suis vmt tout nouveau ds linux je rame lol

comment installer BIND pour me faire un serveur DNS necessaire je pense pour un mail serveur.

j'ai un réseau subdivisé en 7 sous réseaux.

j'ai un routeur qui de sorti qui acquiere son adresse ip via dhcp mais j'ai une redirection no-ip.org du type xxx-xxx.no-ip.org

mais la config je capte rien lol
peut tu m aider avecc info ci dessus.

Je te suggère d'ouvrir un autre thread contenant tes questions sur Bind (ceci n'ayant pas de rapport avec la fonction mail de php).

Visiblement tu débutes et entamer de front apache + postfix + Bind n'ai peut etre pas l'ideal.... ce que j'en dit...
Installe l'un apres l'autre et ne passe au suivant que lorsque le précédent est terminé et ok.

Bonjour,

Cher moi, ubuntu 6.06, postfix est installé par défaut. Mais j'ai du le configurer pour pouvoir envoyer des mail vers l'extérieur. J'arrive à envoyer des mail en console, mais pas avec un script php et la fonction mail(). Le mail est bien envoyé, mais il n'arrive jamais. Le serveur smtp de mon FAI le rejette.

Pour voir si un mail a été envoyer, il faut regarder les logs dans /var/log/mail.log
La configuration de postfix se trouve dans  /etc/postfix/main.cf

Je viens de résoudre mon problème, en ajoutant l'argument -f à la fonction mail(), voir:
