bonjour,
j'ai un petit souci comme vous povez le voir dessou XComposite extension : failed
je voudrais bien avoir écrie passed mais qu est se que XComposite extension ?
que doit je faire ?

exactement la même erreur, pourtant j'ai suivi le tuto sur le site officiel...
J'espère que ce n'est pas du à la config bi écran.
Mon xorg.conf, des fois que ça aiderait à dépanner

il faut forcer beryl-core dans un permier temps, comme cest dit sur le site officiel, le lien est sur la doc
puis dans synaptic, trouver beryl manager, le sélectionner, et dans le menu paquet choisissez forcer, et la version 0.2.0sinon si vous avez une carte grphique nvidia, cest un bug connu qui est résolu dans la doc et sur le forum. ha oui, jai aussi forcé emerald
bon cest trop tard, mais si jamais dautre ont besoin
j'aitrouver sa mais je comprend pas tout
une idée???

Bonjour à tous,
J'ai installé linux il y a quelques jour et beryl me tente vraiment ......j'ai passé tout l'aperm à parcourir le forum,...qui est par ailleurs très bien fait....bravo les gars!!!
Je viens de lire ce forum car j'ai le même message d'ereur qd je fais le test de beryl. Mais je suis largué quand The Djul met son dosier code xorg.conf. Ma question est "Comment obtenir ce dossier et que faut-il modifier?....remplacer le 0 par 1 ???"
Question de débutant, merci à tous pour la réponse.

va dans le menu démarrer et dans accessoires puis terminal
et tape: sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
cherche la ligne (pour sa tu peut faire ctrl+f)
Option "Composite" "0"
efface le 0 et écrie Enable
ensuite il fodrait redémarre une application avant de refaire le test mais je c'est pas la qu elle c'est alors reboot (sa fais noob mais sa marche).
et après sa ne marche plus chez moi snif!!!

Plus de blocage composite.....mais je suis arrivé au 2ème blocage comme toi..."Checking for non power of two texture support : failed"....
Déjà on avance....c'est mieux....
Je pense avoir lu un truc pour résoudre ça dans un autre forum....j'y vais et si je trouve je te fais signe.
