Touche Fn et touches de fonction

Bonjour,

J'ai un portable Toshiba (Portégé P3500 : clavier à 85 touches) avec lequel j'utilise un vidéo-projecteur. Le problème est que les touches de fonction (F1 à F12) combinées à la touche Fn ne sont pas activées. Les touches F6-F7 qui devraient intervenir sur la luminosité de l'écran sont parfaitement inopérationnelles...

J'ai cherché pendant des heures des solutions avec Ubuntu et Debian, mais rien à faire. Il faut un programme nommé "acpid", qui est présent (dans /proc/acpi/ ; dans /etc/acpi/ dans lequel figurent des éléments Toshiba, etc.)

impossible de faire fonctionner les touches FN sur mon toshiba M40 135

j'ai essayé plusieurs pistes mais en vain
