Comment savoir sur quel disques est installé les distributions ???

Bonsoir,

J'espère est sur la bonne rubrique du forum.

Je voudrai savoir si il y a un moyen efficace pour savoir sur quel disque dur est installer une distribution ?
Le truc c'est de savoir sur quel distribution il y a d'installer Windows XP , Windows 7 / Linux Ubuntu / Linux Debian ???

Très simple: sudo os-prober qui donne les OS installés, sauf l'OS actuellement en fonction.

~$ sudo os-prober

Merci sinbad83 t'as commande est très utiel,  je vais pouvoir réinstallé Ubuntu sur mon nouveau PC.
Il y a 4 mois mon PC est tombé en panne, la carte-mère ma lâchement abandonné en plein travail. impossible de le rallumé. carte-mère h. S
Quand j'ai démonté ma bécane pour la garantie, il y avait 3 disques durs, je ne savais plus sur quel disque Kubuntu était installé.

Je viens juste d'essayer avec Kubuntu 12.04 LTS Live CD

sudo os-prober
/dev/sdb1:Mageia 3 (3):Mageia:linux
/dev/sdb9:unknown Linux distribution:Linux:linux
/dev/sdc1:Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (12.04):Ubuntu:linux

Et quand je vérifie avec fdisk j'ai ceci comme message:

C'est normal, le dernier test est effectué sur une autre machine, là où je dois réinstaller Kubuntu.

Quand je réinstall Kubuntu depuis la Live cd, il m'affiche ce message :

La partition /dev/sdc1 affectée à / commence avec un décalage de 1024
octets de l'alignement minimun pour ce disque , ce qui peut avoir 
des conséquences importante sur les performances.

bla bal bla bla.....
[Continuer] [Revenir en arrière] 

quand je clique sur "continuer" et sur "Installer maintenant" le message ce réaffiche.
Je n'ai pas d'autre disque dur pour faire une sauvegarde de 3To.

Voila comment j'ai déclaré les partitions dans : Préparation des partitions (de l'installation de Kubuntu Live-cd)

/dev/sdc1 - ext4 - /
/dev/sdc2 - swap -

/dev/sdc4 - ext4 - /var/www

Chargeur d'amorçage /dev/sdc

Pourtant avec l'ancienne bécane je n'ai pas eu ce problème ?
