C'est avec grand plaisir que je vous annonce que je vous écrit depuis Ubuntu en dual boot avec win8 sur mon Dell XPS 15. Merci à sounderk, alca94 et surtout malbo  qui a toujours cru en moi smile Bref, grand merci à la communauté pour la documentation ! D'autres questions arriveront certainement à l'avenir mais plus dans cette section à priori !

C'est vrai que depuis le début de cette discussion, je me suis dit " un novice qui sait lire une doc ne peut pas être mauvais". J'avais raison. Pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info afin que ceux qui ont le même ordi que toi puissent en prendre exemple ? Si oui, je te prie de faire ce Boot-Info depuis ta session "normale" du Ubuntu fraîchement installé au lieu de le faire depuis une session live : on aura de l'info sur la gestion du démarrage par le système UEFI (la priorité de boot)

C'est Boot0004 (ubuntu) qui est en priorité de boot. Boot0002 (Windows Boot Manager) est en deuxième priorité. Tu peux changer ce ordre en allant dans ton système UEFI si tu le souhaites mais à mon avis c'est bien comme ça puisque ça démarre par défaut sur le menu Grub et dans ce menu, tu peux choisir de démarrer Windows 8 en sélectionnant l'entrée :

Je voulais donner le lien vers la présente discussion concernant le Dell XPS 15 dans la Liste des portables « Dell » mais j'ai un souci car il y a déjà plusieurs modèles dont le nom commence par "XPS 15" (*) et je ne sais pas si je peux raccrocher ton modèle à l'un de ceux-là. Si tu sais préciser cela, ça m'intéresserait. A savoir : la commande que j'indique dans ce post permet dans certains cas d'avoir une désignation plus précise du produit.
