Wi-Fi indisponible Ubuntu 13.04 - Netgear WNDA4100
Bonjour,
J'ai installé Ubuntu 13.04 à l'aide d'une Linux Live USB "Linux Secure" en Dual Boot avec Windows 8.1 Professional 64 bits, mais le Wi-Fi ne fonctionne pas. J'ai déjà essayé pas mal de chose mais rien n'y fait; C'est pourquoi je me tourne vers vous, avec la liste des résultats des commandes demandées :

salut,
Commence par faire le ménage complet de ndiswrapper puisqu'il ne fait pas le boulot (ou il a été mal installé/configurer/mauvaispilote windows). Aide toi de la doc pour bien faire la purge.
Puis télécharge le module sur le site officiel, tu le décompresse, et tu essaye de le compiler.
Pour cela, tu peux suivre ce lien (en anglais) la
PS: si cela fonctionne, sous ubuntu il faudra rajouter le module au demarrage :
sudo gedit /etc/moduleset a la fin du fichier, rajouter la ligne suivante
rt3573staenregistre et c'est terminé

depuis Dapper Drake ! Ça rajeunit pas ^^^).

Merci pour ton aide.
Bon, je pense que j'ai réussi à purger ndiswrapper. En tout cas il n’apparaît plus dans la liste lorsque je fais un lsmod.
J'ai bien téléchargé le module sur le site que tu m'as donné (je suppose, vu la ligne de commande en dessous, qu'il s'agit bien du module RT3573 ?). J'ai ensuite suivi les différentes indiquées dans ton lien, juste une chose à dire :
Etape 4 : rien à ajouter puisque mon Netgear WNDA4100 est bien là.
Bingo, une petite lumière s'est allumée sur mon Netgear, mon Wi-Fi a été repéré et j'ai pu m'y connecter. Firefox est en train de charger, j'attend de voir si ça fonctionne tout à fait ou pas. A priori il ne fonctionne pas vraiment, Firefox charge depuis 3 minutes sans rien afficher. Je vais redémarrer pour voir ce que ça dit. Après redémarrage, Google apparaît mais ça semble caller pour la moindre recherche.
EDIT : Ha, le message suivant vient d'apparaître à l'écran :
Connection activation failed

Oui j'ai bien suivi toutes les étapes, c'est à la fin de celles-ci que la lumière s'est allumée sur mon Netgear et que le Wifi est apparu.

ok, a priori c'est tous bon avec les retours (c'etait iwconfig ... faute de frappe corrigée, désolé)
le problème vient probablement du double cryptage de la box qui en en wpa1 et wpa2, change de chiffrement pour soit que tu wpa1 TKIP; soit que du WPA2 AES (ne pas oublier d'enregistrer les changements sur la box et de la rebooter après).

Ok, j'ai édité mon post précédent avec le résultat de iwconfig, si jamais ça peut servir.
Je n'ai aucune idée de comment faire ça mais je vais me renseigner un peu, merci beaucoup pour ton aide.
EDIT : j'ai trouvé mais je n'ai le choix qu'entre 4 types de sécurités : WEP128, WPA-PSK, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK (actuel) ou WPA2-PSK, lequel choisir?
Et petite question par rapport au mise à jour de Ubuntu, est-ce que je peux les faire sans crainte de reperdre ma connexion?

prend le WPA2-PSK (enregistre, reboot la box, et une fois la box rebooter, sur ton ubuntu deconnecte-toi et reconnecte toi et test si c'est ok

essaye de modifier ton fichier interfaces
sudo gedit /etc/network/interfacesdedans tu mets ces 4 lignes :

iface ra0 inet dhcpenregistre, reboot, et test le wifi

Encore merci. Les deux premières lignes se trouvaient déjà dans le fichier. Après avoir ajouté les deux autres et rebooter, je tombe sur l'écran de démarrage de Ubuntu qui m'affiche "Waiting for network Configuration" et puis "Waiting up to 60 more seconds for network configuration".
Finalement après ces 60 secondes, Ubuntu démarre normalement, sauf que je n'ai plus le menu de connexion en haut à droite dans la barre.

non les 2 lignes en plus ne sont pas obligatoires elle peuvent aider dans certains cas, seule les 2 lignes du fichier original sont obligatoires

ok,c'est tout bon sauf : coche la case "Require IPv4 adressing for this connection to complete" puis déconnecte et reconnecte-toi du wifi et re-test
si cela ne marche pas
peut tu aussi donner le retour de

ping -c2 192.168.0.1oui, bizare que le dmesg ne disent rien, j'ai vérifié la syntaxe est cela fonctionne chez moi, tu fait bien un copier-coller de la commande dans le terminal ?

Non, comme mon ordinateur n'est pas connecté au câble, je n'ai pas du tout internet dessus sans le Wi-Fi. Donc je suis obligé de la recopié mais j'ai vérifié plusieurs fois, j'ai recopié exactement la même chose.
Bon, j'ai bien coché la case, après avoir lancé une recherche sur Google pour essayer, j'obtiens un beau Kernel Panic. Je peux tous recopier si cela peut aider à résoudre le problème. En attendant je vais rebooter et chercher le résultat de ta commande.

et bien, c'est bon tu est connecté, il reste plus qu'a vérifier si firefox ne serait pas en mode "hors connexion" : Menu 3fichier" verifier que la case "Travailler hors connexion n'est pas cochée, si oui, la décocher

Super, un grand merci à toi! Cependant Firefox ne parvient toujours pas à charger une page web, je cherche une solution... Et Travailler hors connexion était bien décoché.
