ordinateur très lent de puis installation d'Ubuntu 10.13
Bonjour,
Depuis que j'ai installé Ubuntu 10.13, mon ordinateur est très lent.
exemple: ouverture de Firefox: 43 secondes, ouverture de Gimp: 1,29 mn, ouverture de la logithèque: 1,52 mn.
Très fréquemment les fenêtre se grisent, j’entends l'ordinateur qui tourne et qui tourne encore...
Avant d'installer 10.13, j'utilisais une version antérieure d'Ubuntu et je rencontrais peu de problèmes.
Mon ordinateur n'est-il plus suffisamment performant pour cette version?
Je ne sais même pas comment connaître les caractéristiques et les performances de mon ordinateur!
Si le problème ne vient pas de mon ordinateur, comment résoudre ce problème?
Si le problème vient de mon ordinateur, l'installation de Lubuntu pourrait-elle résoudre ce problème?

Il faudrait préciser le type de processeur, sa vitesse et la quantité de mémoire, ainsi que la carte graphique.

Cela n'existe pas "10.13" comme version, je suppose que tu as voulu dire "13.10".
Tu as quoi comme config matériel pour ton pc ? tu avais quoi avant comme version 13.04 ? 12.04 ? tu utilises Unity ?

Je crois que la version que j'utilisais avant était 12.04 sans en être certain.
Pour information, lors de la nouvelle installation de 13.10 , j'ai volontairement tout écrasé mon disque pour repartir à zéro. J'ai donc actuellement une seul partition.

Dans firefox en haut clique sur "aide" puis "bilan de santé de firefox" et fais une capture d'écran de la page obtenu et tu la met ici afin de voir la moyenne de performance de ton navigateur sur ton pc.

Ok j'ai compris ton problème, ta mémoire vive est trop saturé et en + il utilise ton swap pour compenser (donc disque dur et je pense pas que t'a un ssd...)
Donc moi je te conseille d'oublier définitivement "Ubuntu" mais de mettre "Xubuntu" a la place (ou Lubuntu a toi de voir).

1 Go de ram ==> Xubuntu, à préciser à l'aide des autres retours de commandes demandés ci-dessus.
Ce changement de variante peut se faire sans réinstaller, en une ligne de commande.
Et puis il faudra abaisser ton swappiness (voir doc) à 2 (deux %).
ps : pendant la prévisualistion, je découvre le message de Sibe : nous nous rejoignons totalement.

A) Je te prie avant tout d'éditer tes messages 12 et 13, pour mettre les retours de commandes entre balises-code (les <> bleus de la barre de mise en forme) comme indiqué là
B) 1 Go de SDRam : bien que ton processeur soit en 64 bits, il tournera plus vite avec un OS 32 bits, d'après les expérimentations de nam1962.
Donc... réinstalle à partir d'une iso 32 bits de Xubuntu, ou de LXLE.

Prend cette iso : ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/ftp.xubuntu.c … p-i386.iso
Et après install passe au moins les A & C du tuto dans ma signature.
Tu seras tout confort

Ok j'ai compris ton problème, ta mémoire vive est trop saturé et en + il utilise ton swap pour compenser (donc disque dur et je pense pas que t'a un ssd...)
Donc moi je te conseille d'oublier définitivement "Ubuntu" mais de mettre "Xubuntu" a la place (ou Lubuntu a toi de voir).

Ou sinon reviens tout simplement sur la 12.04 si tu n'avais pas de problèmes avant ta mise à niveau
Edit : En effet avec 1Go de RAM, il serait finalement plus judicieux de paser à Xubuntu en 32 bits.

Le mieux est de réinstaller. Cela dit, il y a plus rapide que la réinstallation (mais plus lent après), c'est la migration vers xubuntu
et régler ton swappiness cf #11...
