Impossible de lancer VMWare Player

Bonjour, je vien de installer VMWare Player (avec le .tar.gz) sous Ubuntu Gutsy mais il ne se lance pas. La cause est qu'il n'as pas reussit a demarrer "Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0":

Starting VMware services:
   Virtual machine monitor                                             done
   Blocking file system:                                               done
   Virtual ethernet                                                    done
   Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0                                  failed
   Host network detection                                              done
   Host-only networking on /dev/vmnet1 (background)                    done

Comment je pourrais demarrer VMWare Player avec la prise en charge de l'Internet? Merci.

pourquoi ne pas installer par
Applications / Ajouter/enlever et choisir Vmware player ?
Ca marche tout seul.

Comme te l as dit Brunod, installe le paquet present dans le depot commercial
comment est configure ton reseau ? Est ce une adresse ip fixe ou en dhcp

@Brunod: 1) si je installe celui des depots, est-ce que je vais avoir Internet sur mes machines virtuelles? 2) Est-ce que je dois supprimer le VMWare que j'ai pour ensuit installer celui des depots?

@quentin_: oui, mais ca prend pas en charge le microphone (et sans ca, je ne pourrait pas utilise le logiciel pour lequel j'ai besoin de la machine virtuelle)

J'ai esseye de l'installer avec "Ajouter/enlever" et ca m'as donne:

VMware Player cannot be installed on your computer type (i386)

Either the application requires special hardware features or the vendor decided to not support your computer type.

@littlewing: Est-ce que tu peux me donne le lien pour le depot commerciel pour Gutsy?

J'ai ajouter le depot pour Gutsy, mais il y a un probleme:

Supprimes au moins les fichiers /etc/vmware* , les fichiers presents dans le repertoire /etc/init.d/vmwa*

Oui ca marchera, mais ca sera beaucoup + lourd

Je l'es esseye.. VMWare Server donne la meme erreure et en plus, il n'y a pas de son. Je crois que c'est pas compatible avec le nouveau kernel (j'ai vu ca quelque part...) donc il n'y a rien a faire...

Problème résolu...

Allez là: http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/ et téléchargez le dernier partch vmware-any-any-xxx (actuellement, http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update114.tar.gz

Allez http://communities.vmware.com/message/76957 pour lire les informations sur ce script, mais en gros:

1. Installez le package g++
2. Décompressez le tar.gz dans un répertoire
3. avec un terminal, allez dans le dossier en question
4. Exécutez "sudo ./runme.pl"
5. Répondez à toutes les questions (comme pour l'install vmware)
6. Relancez vmware-config.pl

Et voilà. Le problème est résolu, en tout cas sur mon VMWare Workstation 6.0

Exacte j'ai testé pour VMWare Server, je me permet de remettre la procédure "au propre"

   1. cd /opt
   2. sudo make tmp
   3. cd tmp
   4. sudo wget http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update114.tar.gz
   5. tar -xvf vmware-any-any-update114.tar.gz
   6. cd vmware-any-any-update114.tar.gz
   7. sudo ./runme.pl

The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.

Comment passer cette étape ?
