[Résolu] Question sur un vieux hdd
Bonjour à tous !
En lisant les messages de moko sur ce fil, j'ai tapé la commande suivante sur mon bon vieux Latitude (cf signature) :

Vu que le disque fait de plus de bruit et devant le grand nombre de status Old_age ou Pre-fail, je me demandais si ce disque de dur allait bientôt me lâcher et s'il ne faudrait pas songer à son remplacement. Je précise que c'est mon premier ordinateur, je n'ai donc aucune expérience dans les problèmes liés aux disques durs âgés.

Salut,
A priori ton disque n'est pas agonisant, mais c'est vrai qu'il montre des signes de faiblesse.
Il serait en effet sage de songer à son remplacement, histoire de ne pas être pris au dépourvu quand la bise sera venue
Dans d'autres circonstances plus alarmantes je t'aurais dit de faire urgemment une sauvegarde et de courir acheter un disque, mais là ça ne semble pas aussi grave que des situations que j'ai déjà pu voir.
Cela dit, fais des sauvegardes, on ne sait jamais

Je fais naturellement des sauvegardes, c'est tellement simple aujourd'hui avec deja-dup ! Une question histoire d'en apprendre un peu plus chaque jour : à quoi vois-tu qu'il ne devrait pas mourir demain ?

Sur un disque à l'agonie, il y a deux symptômes courants :
- des erreurs d'entrée/sortie lors de son utilisation (donc bugs d'applications et enregistrement dans les logs du noyau)
- Current_Pending_Sector qui s'incrémente
