Perte du signal HDMI après zapping télé ou mise en veille, intel i915

(edit titre : le driver i915 semble être au cœur du problème)

Bonsoir,
j'ai un nouveau HTPC avec une carte graphique intelHD intégrée.
Il est connecté en HDMI sur l'écran télé(LG) et l'image, le son sont impeccables.
Le problème, c'est que si une fois qu'il est en fonctionnement je zappe plus de 10s sur la télé (antenne ou box en HDMI aussi), qd je reviens sur la sortie HDMI de l'ordi, l'écran indique "pas de signal". Idem, si l'ordi se met en veille, impossible de relancer l'affichage (par contre, l'ordi lui repart en agitant la souris).
Pour le moment, j'ai gardé le dual boot, et il n'y a pas ce problème avec windows. Donc, a priori,  le problème ne vient pas de l'écran, ni du bios (de toute manière je l'ai testé en mode S1, S3 sur RAM... ça change rien). Mes recherches google, me renvoient soit à des problèmes "pas d'image du tout, jamais", ou à des problèmes similaires mais en 2008 avec des cartes GMA 500...
J'ai installé Xubuntu 14.04.
La télé n'a pas de port VGA pour tester, et je n'ai plus d'autre écran...

Le probleme vient peut-être de la config de xrandr.
Le port HDMI est toujours désigné comme "HDMI2". Peut-être que quand on débranche, la carte graphique bascule sur une autre sortie. Mais dans les paramètres d'affichage, j'ai bien coché "configurer les nouveaux écrans lorsqu'ils sont connectés", ça devrait retrouvé le HDMI qd il est rebranché?

edit : "HDMI1" C'est le port DVI, mais en branchant dessu (cable DVI/HDMI)), ça ne change rien au problème...

Bon, j'ai tenté
- d'installer les derniers drivers grâce au dépôt oibaf ... rien
- de mettre un kernel plus récent 3.16 ... rien

La méthode proposée sur le forum anglais me permet déjà de ne pas redémarrer sauvagement l'ordi :
1/ devant l'écran noir, lancer une console ctrl+alt+F2   (tty1 veut pas??)
2/ se loguer
3/ sudo restart lightdm

Pas très user friendly... ça va grincer des dents je sens... mais bon, en attendant mieux...

Si vous avez une idée magique, je reste preneur. big_smile
Par exemple, forcer le système à vérifier la présence d'un écran sur le port HDMI1 toutes les x secondes qd il n'y a plus de signal... Mais là, ça dépasse mes compétences de très loin...
