Bonjour,

J'ai une microsoft VX-3000, qui est bien reconnue.
Cependant, si je vais à la fin dans l'option executer, on nous affiche dans cheese la fenêtre de la prise de la webcam : le problème est que l'image est si sombre qu'elle en est inexploitable (alors que sous windows je n'ai pas ce problème).

Je viens de faire l'acquisition d'une Logitech QuickCam E 3500.

J'ai suivis la doc de:

pour l'installation : ok  wink

Apparemment, aucun drivers pour ma webcam pour le moment  sad

Merci, j'ai donc lancé easycam, installé les drivers... Ensuite Cheese s'est ouvert, la cam fonctionne, mais 10 secondes plus tard la fenêtre devient noire. En essayant de la déplace,r elle s'est mise à clignoter !:o

Edit : Par contre, ça fonctionne dans VLC et dans aMSN

Débranche ta webcam, rebranche là et teste avec 'gstreamer-properties'

J'ai exactement suivi ta procédure...

Là, en me plaçant sur v4l, g bien vu le nom de ma cam s'afficher dans les sources. J'ai fait test, mais une fenêtre très petite s'est affiché avec des couleurs qui changeaient très vite. J'en déduis donc que Linux récupère bien qqc de ma webcam mais n'arrive pas à l'interpréter...

Bonjour,

J'ai une Philips ToUcam XS
J'ai essayer de l'installer avec EasyCam2, en testant dans Cheese par exemple, juste la mire, et dans aMsn, aucune webcam detectée evidemment.
J'ai lu qu'il fallait utiliser le driver pwc, et apres quelque recherche, apparement sur hardy il faut utiliser la version incluse dans le noyau.

Le probleme c'est que maintenant la webcam est associé au driver OV518

Bus 005 Device 006: ID 05a9:0518 OmniVision Technologies, Inc. OV518 WebCam

Comment faire pour l'utiliser avec pwc ?

ca ne marche pas j'ai une fenetre qui s'ouvre ou c'est ecrit: Une erreur est survenue lors du chargement ou de l'enregistrement des informations de configuration de firefox. Certains de vos paramètres de configuration ne fonctionneront peut-être pas correctement.
et voila les details :Nom de clé ou de répertoire non conforme: « /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/apt+http/enabled » : « + » est un caractère non valide dans un nom de clé/répertoire.

Pour être fixé : Système > Administration > Moniteur Système

j'ai essayé d'installer ma webcam Microsoft VX1000 sous Ubuntu (hardy) en passant par Easycam2.
Lorsque je fais "exécuter / webcam" l'image est toute foncée et je distingue à peine.

Test les commandes suivantes (Sans débrancher ta webcam ! ) :

sudo modprobe -r gspca
sudo modprobe gspca gamma=5

Si tu note une modification, mais que ce n'est pas suffisant, recommence les commandes en jouant sur la valeur de gamma

MucH04 : Normalement, elle fonctionne avec EasyCam. Mais tu doit avoir un conflit de driver. Je vais mettre à jour EasyCam pour supprimer ça. Je te redis quand c'est fait
