bonsoir
je viens aux nouvelles car sur mon ancien portable (un asus f75v) j'ai toujours xubuntu 12.10 d'installé car ensuite xubuntu n'arrive pas à utiliser le wifi avec une carte ralink rt 5390
je voudrais pourtant installer la version 14.04 mais si je le fais je n'aurais plus de wifi

Bonsoir,

pourquoi ne pas essayer en version live cd, tu sera vite fixé...
Je rajoute qu'au pire, il y a toujours la solution ndiswrapper

normal, les version normal sont aussi des versions live cd...

2 em et 5 em post en partant du haut de l'acceuil de la section "configuration wifi"

ok, c'est mieux sauf que ....le wifi est désactivé :

Il faudrait activé les depots backport, puis faire les mises a jour. Enfin, une fois que c'est fait il faudra faire la manipulation suivante pour activer le wifi

Manipulation a faire a chaque demarrage QUE dans le cas d'une session "live"

sudo modprobe -r asus_nb_wmi && sudo modprobe  asus_nb_wmi wapf=1

Manipulation a faire qu'une seule fois DANS LE CAS ou la 14.04 installée physiquement sur le pc (pas en session live)

sudo modprobe -r asus_nb_wmi && modprobe  asus_nb_wmi wapf=1
echo "options asus_nb_wmi wapf=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/asus_nb_wmi.conf

désolé erreur de ma part, j'avais oublié le sudo apres le && dans la commande, j'ai corrigé, la boone commande est donc (quand on est en session live (et apres les mises a jour)

sudo modprobe -r asus_nb_wmi && sudo modprobe asus_nb_wmi wapf=1

faire un

sudo rfkill list

pour voir que le wifi n'est plus "hard blocked : yes"

je viens de retester en me branchant d'abord en filaire et quand je veux faire les mises àjour avant ta modif ca foire car certains paquets ne peuvent être installés et du coup il refuse de me laisser aller cocher la case concernat les depots backports

arf, sans plus de précision sur les paquet qu'il veut pas t'installer c'est dur ...

sinon, pour gagner du temps, installle physiquement la 14.04, ce sera plus facile.
pense a faire une sauvegarde avant, genre clonezilla qui te pemettra de restaurer facilement en cas de petit à méga gros probème

ce soir je viens d'acheter un cable rj45 pour brancher le portable de ma femme en filaire comme cà je pourrais installer la version 14.04 en attendant que recuperer le wifi
