Oui, et çà n'enlève en rien que l'on doive utiliser Boot-Repair-Disk, avec les paquets des PPA à jours.

Re moi
Je suis en live cd de 11.10 firefox ne veut toujours rien savoir ni en direct ni par le terminal avec la 12.04.
J ai commence a telecharger la 14.04 et il me dit que cet ordinateur n a plus que 34B espace disque restant.
Voici ce que me dit l analyse du disque .
Je le reecris car le  screen ne prend pas *la fonction AZERTY non plus*

Bonsoir.

J ai commence a telecharger la 14.04 et il me dit que cet ordinateur n a plus que 34B espace disque restant.

Allons bon!!!. Çà va encore compliquer l'affaire ... 34B ?   34MB  plutôt, non?. Par-ce-que 34GB  il y aurait largement de la place .

Je pense qu'il faut aller fouiller dans /home. Voir dans les données personnelles, ce qui peut être transféré temporairement  sur support externe. 2 ou 3 GB de données. On les remettra en place une foi la réparation faite. Mais il va falloir à l'avenir réglé ce problème de place dans /home.
Normalement le téléchargement de l'iso veut se faire dans /home/Téléchargements. Mais on voit qu'il ne reste que 1 GB de libre dans /home. Et l'iso avoisine cette taille.
D'où le message d'avertissement.

De toute façon si le téléchargement se faisait tout juste, sans message d'erreur.  Il n'y aurait encore pas assez de place pour faire marcher le logiciel de gravure pour graver un DVD live de la 14.04 ...

Alors... DVD live de la 14.04, çà va permettre de voir si la machine est capable de le faire fonctionner ce Ubuntu 14.04 . En session live on voit çà de suite...
Si la configuration n'est pas suffisante, il va falloir penser à changer pour une variante plus légère de Ubuntu (Xubuntu ou Lubuntu) .

Non non!!!. L'iso du CD Boot-Repair-Disk ne contient pas les paquets à jour. Elle date de  ; Une image de la page de téléchargement sera plus parlant ...

La dernière version des paquets du PPA pour Boot-Repair, qui sont le même que sur Boot-Repair-Disk ... Une image aussi ...

Pour les versions des paquets de Mai 2013 à Décembre 2013, çà fait pas mal de changements .
Donc pour utiliser Boot-Repair-Disk  dans de bonnes conditions, il faut faire les mises à jour des paquets.

Il en est de même pour l'iso (Linux secure remix) (LSR)  qui bien qu'elle soit basée sur Ubuntu 13.04 (comme BRD)  contient Boot-Repair, mais pas à jour non plus.

Date elle aussi de 2013. Donc pour l'utiliser correctement, là aussi, il faut faire les maj des paquets Boot-Repair avec le gestionnaire de mise à jour. En désélectionnant toutes les maj proposées, et en ne sélectionnant que le PPA Boot-Repair, puis faire la maj , Si je souviens bien on ne dispose pas de Synaptic dans l'iso .

Le seul cas où il n'y a pas de maj des paquets à faire, c'est lors de l'installation de Boot-Repair sur un Ubuntu 12.04, 14.04 , en session live ou installé.
Là le système va chercher les paquets à jour là;

Bonjour à vous.
Hier j'ai laissé tombé car j'en avais plein la tête. Mais ça a porté ses fruits, car j'ai retrouvé une clé multisystem où j'avais enregistré la 14.04 (je ne m'en rappelais plus).
Ce matin j'ai démarré via cette clé et voilà, je vous écris de la live 14.04.
Maintenant, avant de faire quoi que ce soit, j'attends vos réponses : est ce que je dois quand même télécharger boot-repair ?

Installation/utilisation de Boot-Repair sur ta session live 14.04 .
Tu ne fais surtout pas de " Réparation recommandée ", mais seulement  le "Rapport boot info" , et tu postes l'URL ici .
On verra comment se présente ta configuration.
Je vais être absent pour le reste de la journée.

Avant de faire quoi-que-ce soit.

Question;
Ta machine démarre sur quel disque ?
/dev/sda , celui où est Ubuntu 10.04.
/dev/sdb , celui où est Ubuntu 14.04.

Si c'est sur /dev/sda, en changeant l'ordre de boot dans le Bios, essaye le la faire booter sur /dev/sdb  ... Et inversement.

Grub est installé sur les deux hdd. Et les deux hdd devraient amorcer le démarrage de la machine.

Dans /dev/sda ,  sur le Ubuntu 10.04 en /dev/sda1.
Le fichier   /dev/sda1 /boot/grub/grub.cg    montre bien la 10.04, (noyau version; 2.6.32-64), c'est correcte. Mais les entrées pour l'OS installé en /dev/sdb1 Ubuntu 14.04.1,(résultat de la mise à niveau). montrent des version du noyau (kernel)( 3.2.0-65) qui ne correspondent pas a Ubuntu 14.04.1   (3.13.0-37)

Par-contre dans le Ubuntu 14.04 de /dev/sdb1,  le fichier grub.cfg montre la bonne version du noyau 14.04.1 (3.13.0-37, mis à niveau depuis la version 3.2.0-70) et celle du Ubuntu 10.04 (2.6.32-64).
çà devrait démarrer les deux OS.
C'est ce qui me fait soupçonner que la machine démarrer sur le hdd /dev/sda et non sur le hdd /dev/sdb.

On peut aussi essayer de faire une mise à jour de Grub du Ubuntu 10.04 .

sudo update-grub

En démarrant la machine sur le hdd /dev/sda1, celui où est installé Ubuntu 10.04 . La bonne version du noyau de la 14.04 (3.0.13.-37) sera portée dans le fichier  grub.cfg, (en remplaçant 3.2.0-65), et les deux OS devraient démarrer aussi depuis ce disque.

Si il n'y a pas de démarrage possible, on essayera de commenter le rapport boot info. Et de voir si il y a moyen de réparer çà .

Par contre le point du clavier numérique ne fait pas de point mais un petit écran de recherche. Est ce un bug ou est ce normal avec cette version ?

La 12.04, non plutôt la 14.04, puisque tu as fais la mise à niveau ...  Et la 10.04, elle démarre  aussi?.

Pour faire la maj de grub de la 10.04 ...
Changer l'ordre de boot de la machine, pour qu'elle démarre sur le hdd /dev/sda ,celui où est installé la 10.04 en /sda1.
Si elle veut bien démarrer  lancer la 10.04 , faire la maj de Grub

sudo update-grub

Redémarrer sur le hdd /dev/sda , la 10.04 et la 14.04 devraient démarrer maintenant depuis ce hdd.

Si il n'y a pas moyen de démarrer la 10.04 depuis ce hdd /dev/sda1, je t'expliquerais comment utiliser Boot-Repair en session live, en passant par les options avancées, pour réinstaller Grub correctement sur la 10.04 du hdd /dev/sda.

J'ai essayé la 10.04 et, à part le fait que c'était un peu long, elle a démarré.
Alors, la question : est-ce que je fais quand même la  mise à jour : sudo update-grub ?

Comme tu ne précises pas sur quel disque tu fais démarrer la machine. Je ne peux pas te faire autre chose qu'une réponse de Normand.

Si tu obtiens ce résultat en démarrant la machine sur les deux disques, pas la peine de faire la mises à jour de Grub.

Mais.
Si tu démarres la machine sur le disque où est installé la 10.04, et que les deux OS démarrent. Pas la peine de faire la maj de Grub de la 10.04
Si la machine démarre la 10.04, mais ne démarrer pas la 14.04, là il faut faire la mise à jour de grub de la 10.04.
Je pense que tu vas être obligé de faire cette mise à jour de grub. On voit dans le fichier  /boot/grub/grub.cfg  de la 10.04.  Que les entrées de l'OS qui est sur l'autre disque (celui où est installé la 14.04) la version des noyaux correspond à celui de la 12.04 (noyau version 3.2.0-64 et 65) .  12.04 que tu as mises à niveau vers la 14.04 (version du noyau 3.13.0-37). Mais, mise à niveau qui n'est pas prise en compte dans le fichier  grub.cfg de la 10.04 . Normalement la 14.04 ne devrait pas démarrer depuis le menu grub de la 10.04, en lançant la machine depuis le disque /dev/sda,  10.04 installé en /dev/sda1 ...

Les versions du noyau 3.2.0-64 et 3.2.0-65 , concernent un UBuntu 12.04.   Le noyau de la 14.04 est en  3.13.0-xx  ...

OK! les OS démarrent à partir des deux disques.
Mais je ne suis pas convaincu que ce soit sur la bonne version des noyaux pour la 14.04, en bootant la machine sur le hdd où est installé la 10.04. Je vois çà d'après le dernier boot info.

Stp, veux tu bien faire ceci.

Démarrer la machine sur le disque dur où est installé la 10.04.( /dev/sda) En changeant l'ordre de boot dans le Bios.
Lancer la 10.04 .

Dans un terminal copier/coller ;

uname -r

Poster le retour terminal.

Redémarrer la machine toujours sur le hdd d'installation de la 10.04 . Lancer la 14.04 depuis le menu Grub.

Dans un terminal copier/coller ;

uname -r

Poster le retour terminal.

Si tu obtiens ceci ;

3.13.0-37-generic

Grub de la 10.04 est bien à jour, et la machine démarre sur la bonne version du noyau.

Si tu obtiens ceci ;

3.2.0-65-generic-pae

Grub de la 10.04 n'est pas à jour et ce que tu crois être la 14.04 (en fait la 12.04)  démarre sur cette version du noyau.

il faut faire la mise à jour de Grub de la 10.04.

Redémarrer la machine toujours sur le hdd d'installation de la 10.04 . Lancer la 10.04 depuis le menu Grub.

Faire la mise à jour de Grub.

sudo update-grub

En redémarrant la 14.04, ;

uname -r

devrait donner;

3.13.0-37-generic

Çà y est , ce fini, c'est à jour et en ordre. Tu pourras passer en résolu.

Alors le hdd qui démarre, c'est  le 320 Go (332) c'est celui où est installé la 14.04 .
Le noyau version 3.13.0-38, c'est la dernière version proposée. c'est la bonne.
Pour la 10.04 c'est aussi le bon . Le 2.6.32-64-generic .

Pour que le hdd de 1 To où est installé la 10.04 ...
Grub rescue ...  Ce n'est pas normal, on devrait pouvoir démarrer les OS. Grub est mal installé.

Çà veut dire que l'on doit réinstaller Grub dans la 10.04 . Pour que la machine puisse faire démarrer la 10.04 et la 14.04 depuis le menu Grub, quand on Lance la machine depuis ce disque de 1 TO.  aussi.

Alors il faut qu'on utilise Boot-Repair en session live Ubuntu.

En session installé de la 14.04, on ne peut pas. Il ne réinstalle Grub que sur la 14.04. pas sur les autres.
Il faut donc disposé d'un cd live 12.04 ou 14.04 ?  Boot-Repair installé dans la session live, permettra de réinstaller correctement Grub dans la 10.04 .
Tu disposes du quelle version? 
Si c'est la 10.04 seulement on ne peut pas installé le PPA Boot-Repair, il n'est plus disponible pour cette version de Ubuntu .

Il faudra faire un cd live 12.04 ou 14.04 , et on pourra continuer ...

ÉDIT: dans le rapport boot-info , on voit;

boot-repair is executed in live-session (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, trusty, Ubuntu, i686)

Çà veut donc dire que tu as un CD/DVD live 14.04 en 32 bit.
On va donc pouvoir réinstaller le PPA  Boot-Repair et réparer Grub du hdd de 1 TO.

Alors lancement de la session live DVD 14.04.
Tu peux communiquer depuis la session live, accès à internet, et au sujet du forum.
Installation de Boot-Repair  (BR) ;
Entre chaque commande "Entrée" et tu laisses mouliner.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair

Et tu lances Boot-Repair (BR) depuis les menus.

À la question demandant si tel disque est un disque amovible? tu répond OUI même si c'est un hdd interne. C'est la bonne réponse à donner pour que BR fasse correctement son travail lors de la réparation recommandée. Mais toi tu vas utiliser les "Options avancées".

Dans la fenêtre principale. Tu ouvres "Options avancées" (au dessus de À propos).

Dans l'onglet " Options principales" tu coches "Réinstaller Grub"
"Faire apparaître le menu de démarrage"  doit être aussi coché et avec 10 s"

Dans l'onglet "Emplacement de Grub"
"Os par défaut au démarrage" tu choisis ;  sda1 (Ubuntu 10.04) .
"Placer Grub dans " tu choisis;   sda

Tu fais "Appliquer "

Boot-Repair va réinstaller Grub correctement dan la 10.04 .

À la fin de la manip tu va voir l'URL du boot info, stp ,postes la ici que l'on voit ce qui à changé.

Normalement les deux Os doivent démarrer depuis tes deux disques.

J'ai fait les manips ci dessus. Mais voici la réponse : EFI détecté. Veuillez utiliser Boot-Repair-Disk-64bit (www.sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd), qui contient une version compatible EFI de ce logiciel.
Faut-il vraiment que je grave un CD ou je dois télécharger cette version sur ma clé ?

Bonjour.

Dans les machine modernes, on peut installer ls OS en mode Bios Legacy, c'est ton cas. Ou en mode UEFI .

Tes installations sont faites avec des O en 32 bit, sur des hdd partitionnés en mode MSDOS.
Partitions principale + partition étendues qui contiennent des partition logique. On ne peut absolument pas installer les OS en UEFI.
Pour le faire il faut que les hdd soit avec un partitionnement GPT. Et que l'on utilise des OS en 64 bit compatible UEFI.
Ta machine démarre en mode Bios Legacy. (donc non UEFI). Çà ne peut absolument pas faire démarrer des installation en UEFI .
Mais çà doit permettre le démarrage d'installations faites en mode Bios Legacy. 32 ou 64 bit.

J'avais bien vu dans le rapport boot info posté en #32 ceci  en fin de rapport.

Hier j'ai laissé tombé car j'en avais plein la tête. Mais ça a porté ses fruits, car j'ai retrouvé une clé multisystem où j'avais enregistré la 14.04 (je ne m'en rappelais plus).

Le souci ne viendrait il pas de là???. 

Le seul endroit où on parle de UEFI dans ton installation, c'est l'utilisation de ton 14.04 en session live depuis le MultiSytem, qui est sur ta clé en /dev/sdc1 ...

Question;
Boot-Repair n'a pas pu ou voulu faire la réparation suite au message que tu indiques. Ou tu as fais les manips, puis il a affiché le message.?
Comment çà c'est passé?. Il n'y a pas eu d'URL de boot info, à poster à la fin de la manip?.
La manip a été interrompue?.

ÉDIT.

J'ai une machine 32 64 bit , avec un bios ancien (Bios Legacy non UEFI) avec 4 hdd internes en mode MSDOS. Des installations en 32 et 64 bit non UEFI. (pas possible l'UEFI chez moi.) .
J'ai aussi une clé MultiSystem avec la 14.04 en 32 bit installé.

Je vais réinstaller Grub avec Boot-Repair depuis une session live de la 14.04, sur un de mes OS de test, voir ce qu'il se passe.
Si çà vient de Boot-Repair, ou du fait de l'utiliser depuis le MultiSystem . Ou si c'est spécifique à ta machine .

Je suis en session live 14.04 32 bit lancée depuis une clé MultiSystem.
J'ai installé Boot-Repair, et lancé un rapport boot info .

Ce qui me fais dans les log de Boot-Repair, un fichier  "RESULTS.txt" de 3.5 MO (grosse config avec plein d'OS de tests.). Je n'arrive pas à en poster le contenu ici, donc je poste des extrais.

En comparant le contenu de nos boot info, j'en déduis que ta machine est plus moderne que la mienne . Et qu'elle doit être capable de fonctionner en UEFI et Bios Legacy.
La mienne n'est qu'en Bios Legacy .

On voit donc des différences dans les extrais suivants.

Partition ou est installé le MultiSystem:

Chez toi;

Chez moi on me propose une réparation qui est correcte, puisque l'Os proposé est bien celui sur lequel la machine démarre par défaut.

Chez toi, c'est un peu plus compliqué...

Alors, je redemande, chez toi Boot-Repair à refusé de faire la réparation? ou il y a eu ce message à la fin des manips?
Ta machine démarre ou pas sur le hdd où est installé la 10.04?. Les OS 10.04 et 14.04 démarrent depuis ce hdd?.
