Boot option qui ne veut plus partir
Bonjour,
Alors voilà, je vous explique mon problème.
Si quelqu'un a une idée... je prends.
J'ai installé une version d'Ubuntu 13.10 que j'avais sur un CD (anciennement mise en Dual Boot sur mon portable avec Vista: oui, c'était un vieux portable) sur mon nouvel ordinateur: un Asus R553LN-XO263H.
Puis, n'ayant pas de câble Ethernet à disposition et des problèmes de pointeur de souris et de wifi sur mon Ubuntu qui démarrait correctement, j'ai décidé d'installer une version plus récente: plus simple.
J'ai donc formaté mes partitions d'Ubuntu et téléchargé la version 14.04 que j'ai ensuite remise sur un CD puis installée...
J'ai ensuite eu les mêmes problèmes qu'au départ et ai de nouveau tout enlevé. Je me suis aussi rendue compte que les iso s'appelaient "~amd.iso" mais mon nouvel ordinateur n'est plus AMD mais Intel.
J'ai, le lendemain, refait les mêmes procédures depuis une clé USB bootable (toujours avec la version 14.04) avec une version i-386.
Entre temps, mon Windows s'est mis à me proposer de chosir de booter sous Windows ou sous Ubuntu au démarrage ... Tout comme le faisait le boot loader d'Ubuntu (qui me proposait Windows).
C'était totalement improbable et je me suis demandée si ça ne venait pas de ma version montée de l'Iso qui se trouvait sur Windows. Une fois cette version supprimée: toujours le même comportement. J'ai donc fini par "remettre aux paramètres d'usine" mon ordi depuis Windows; ce qui a fonctionné.
Mon problème n'est pas tout cela, mais il fallait d'abord expliquer le contexte.
Mon souci, maintenant, c'est que j'ai une valeur d'Ubuntu dans mon BIOS... alors que j'ai bien supprimé Ubuntu au final.
Je peux le ré-installer et démarrer ensuite ET sur Windows ET sur Ubuntu correctement... Mais, en faisant ça, il y a alors deux options:
ubuntu P0 : ST750LM022 HN-M750MBB
dans mon BIOS.
J'ai tenté LinuxSecure et le désinstallateur d'OS (pour faire ça proporement) ainsi que le réparateur de démarrage...
J'ai d'abord ré-installé Ubuntu pour l'enlever avec le désinstallateur d'OS. Et tout ça fonctionne très bien.
De même, il y a ce souci assez improbable avec les nouveaux PCs et Windows 8 concernant UEFI etc. J'ai donc bien fait attention, avec le téléchargement de mon LinuxSecure, à respecter ce qui était indiqué dans les différents posts à ce sujet... Et c'est peut-être pour ça que cette version semblait mieux tourner que les précédentes.
Néanmoins, quand j'essaye de me servir du réparateur de boot, il m'indique toujous "EFI détecté; veuillez voir vos options". Sauf qu'il ne me renvoie sur rien avec cela... je ne sais pas quoi en faire.
Bref; en exécutant tout ça, tout semble fonctionner... pas spécialement d'erreur... Mais cette valeur est toujours là..
En formatant les partitions, en nettoyant les disques... rien à faire.
Et quand je tente de démarrer sur cette option Ubuntu (Ubuntu étant désinstallé), j'ai un "grub rescue" ... C'est peut-être un progrès; avant le réparateur de démarrage j'avais un grub en lignes de commande... qui ne s'appelait pas "rescue".
Le plus étrange dans tout ça; c'est que, quand je ré-installe Ubuntu et que je démarre dessus... je peux démarrer dessus depuis les deux options identiques: "P0 etc" et cela fonctionne... Mais quand je désinstalle l'OS, il n'y a qu'une de ces deux valeurs qui est supprimée et la dernière ne s'en va jamais.
Maintenant, je voudrais ré-installer un Ubuntu convenable, qui fonctionne entièrement, toujours dual booté avec mon Windows.
Mais, avant cela, je voudrais retirer cette valeur qui n'a plus rien à faire dans mon BIOS. Et qui entraine sûrement des disfonctionnements (quand je ré-installe Ubuntu et que je peux démarrer dessus, il y a toujours des messages d'erreur au démarrage...même si après, tout semble bien se passer).
Certains m'ont dit "laisse la valeur, tu t'en fous"; mais personnellement, je ne trouve pas normal d'avoir une option de boot erronnée dans mon BIOS.

Ton ordi Asus R553LN-XO263H est équipé d'un système UEFI. Dans un tel système, les entrées ne s'effacent pas automatiquement. C'est à toi de supprimer manuellement dans ton système UEFI l'entrée indésirable.
Par exemple sur cette vue, dans l'onglet "Boot" tu vois une rubrique "Delete Boot Option" : tu vas là-dedans et tu dois pouvoir sélectionner l'entrée à supprimer et la supprimer effectivement. Fais bien attention à quitter ton système UEFI en enregistrant cette modif : en principe sur un ordi Asus, cela se réalise en appuyant sur la touche F10 (save & exit)

Lorsque je fais ça, sur le moment, l'option disparaît. Puis, au redémarrage suivant: elle est revenue... Et c'est bien là mon problème.

J'ai eu ça il y a 3 jours avec le fameux LinuxSecure(13.04 il me semble).
En attendant, les seules modifications faites ça a été une nouvelle installation (le fameux LinuxSecure) et sa désinstallation avec les outils que j'ai cités plus haut.
Au moment du rapport, il était encore installé (celui du LinuxSecure).
Je ne peux pas en refaire un immédiatement. Mais peut-être qu'il y aura déjà des informations là-dedans...
Sinon, je posterai le nouveau ce soir.

1) il a été fait avec un outil obsolète : Linux-Secure-Remix-64bit 20may2013, raring, Ubuntu, x86_64 (raring - Ubuntu 13.04 - n'est plus soutenu depuis le 27 janvier 2014 : voir historique des versions)
2) la session live a été démarrée en mode non-EFI comme on voit là :

BIOS is EFI-compatible, but it is not setup in EFI-mode for this live-session.Il faut donc un support live de Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits (si tu n'as pas ce qu'il faut, suis cette procédure) et maîtriser la config du système UEFI pour obtenir une session live démarrée en mode EFI. Pour t'assurer de la chose, tu peux utiliser la commande de ce paragraphe 2.4 Identifier si l'ordinateur démarre sur le disque dur en mode EFI (cette commande est utilisable aussi bien pour un Ubuntu installé sur disque dur que pour une session live)

Je vous poste une version du BootInfo fait avec un Ubuntu 14.04.1 64bits.
Néanmoins... Il y avait déjà un BootInfo, et, même s'il venait d'une version 32 bits, je pense pas que cela diffère beacoup ...
Désolée si je me trompe.
Mon souci n'est pas de ré-installer une version d'Ubuntu, mais bien de supprimer cette boot option d'une version qui n'existe plus depuis longtemps sur mon ordi de mon BIOS....

Si vous avez une idée de comment supprimer cette valeur dans mon BIOS grâce à ça...
D'ailleurs, avec cet ordi, depuis le début, et avec les multiples installations d'Ubuntu faites, je n'ai ni de Wifi ni de pad (souris) ... Je suis obligée de mettre une souris en USB pour pouvoir avoir un pointeur de souris et encore, cela ne fonctionne pas toujours..
Si vous avez une petite idée là-dessus; je prends aussi.
Mais jusque-là, je ne m'en suis qu'à moitié inquiétée parce que je me suis dit qu'il suffirait que je télécharge quelques paquets une fois que tout serait réglé...

Super.... Tout ça pour ça.
Je disais donc: mon problème se trouve dans mon BIOS.
Il me reste une entrée Ubuntu dans mon BIOS alors qu'Ubuntu n'est plus sur mon PC.
J'ai formaté les partitions que je lui avais attribuées puis les ai ré-attribuées à Windows.
Il reste quelque part cette valeur qui correspond à la valeur de démarrage sur le Grub installé par Ubuntu.
Comme il n'y a plus Ubuntu, il me reste donc une entrée "Ubuntu" qui ne mène sur rien. Seulement un grub "cassé" qui m'affiche "grub rescue" et une sorte de ligne de commandes.
Je voudrais seulement retirer cette valeur mon BIOS ainsi que ce grub cassé.
Il n'y a pas de problème visible dans mon BootInfo car mon système fonctionne très bien. Mon démarrage sous Windows n'a aucun souci. Et, comme je le disais, si je ré-installe Ubuntu, ça fonctionne. Néanmoins, il reste toujours une valeur en trop dans mon BIOS (2 valeurs pour Ubuntu au lieu d'une si jamais je ré-installe une version).

Le problème, concrètement, je suppose que c'est cette ligne:
/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi /EFI/ubuntu/shimx64.efi
Ubuntu n'existe plus. Elle ne devrait pas exister non plus.
Sauf que je n'ai aucun moyen de la retirer; et, comme je le disais, en passant dans le BIOS et en supprimant manuellement l'option qui s'appelle Ubuntu et qui mène donc à mon grub cassé, cela ne donne aucun résultat. Au démarrage suivant, la valeur revient.
Tant que ça ne sera pas supprimé, je ne veux pas installer d'autre système. Et je ne peux donc pas travailler sous Ubuntu.

Le tout est d'avoir accès à cette partition.
Maintenant, je ne l'ai jamais fait et si ça plante tout ce n'est pas de ma faute. Bref, méfies-toi.

Je ne les vois pas, ces fichiers.
Dans mes dossiers sur mon C: j'ai tous les fichiers correspondants à Windows, dont ceux en .efi nommés juste après. Mais pas ceux d'Ubuntu...
Le souci c'est que du coup, j'ai laissé mon PC pour la semaine et repris l'ancien: besoin de bosser sous Ubuntu pour mes TPs. Bref.
Du coup, je veux bien prendre toutes les idées possibles et tester ce weekend en retrouvant mon nouveau PC.

C'est normal, ce n'est pas là qu'ils se trouvent.
Windows est sur sda4 ou sda5 et les fichiers en question sur sda1.
A part en session Live (Essayer Ubuntu sans l'installer) d'Ubuntu, j'ai comme l'impression que tu n'auras pas accès à la partition sda1.

Ah oui, pas bête. Vrai que du coup, ils ne sont pas sur sda5...
Mais sda1, j'y ai pas spécialement accès, effectivement.
En tout cas, sous Windows, je peux rien en faire. Mais c'est plutôt normal et "sécurisé" comme idée. Bref.
J'essayerai en rentrant avec l'USB d'Ubuntu pour voir si je peux aller dans sda1... mais je n'y crois pas trop ^^"
J'ai tenté des trucs du genre bcdedit sous Windows, de directement supprimer l'entrée dans le BIOS etc... mais toujours sans succès..
Bref, je verrai ça vendredi du coup.

Et je commence a me demander si tu auras accès à la partition sda1 avec une session Live d'Ubuntu.
Personnellement, je n'y ai pas accès (ou je n'ai pas trouvé comment faire) avec mon Ubuntu installé.

Je doute fort du fait d'y avoir accès...
Et, si jamais je ne l'ai pas... As-tu une autre idée de comment retirer ces valeurs d'Ubuntu de mon BIOS? T_T

Bah moi oui... et mon BIOS m'autorise à y supprimer;.. mais ça se supprime jamais réellement puisque ça revient à chaque fois.
