[Résolu] Message d'erreur au démarrage après l'installation
Bonjour,
J'ai reçu mon disque dur WD tout neuf.
J'ai créé les partitions suivants pour l'installation de Kubuntu 1.04 LTS x64 avec gparted :
kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ sudo parted /dev/sdc print

4 - /homeQuand je boot sur le disque une fois l'installation terminée, j'ai ce message d'erreur :

grub rescue _Et quand je tape ls, j'ai ceci qui s'affiche :
(hd0) (hd1) (hd2)Que faut-il faire ?
Je pense qu'il faut activer le boot sur le disque, comment faut-il procéder avec parted sur la partition /dev/sdc1 ?

13/10/2014 09:52 : Avec un live cd de kubuntu 14.04 , J'ai fait ceci avec gparted
sudo gparted /dev/sdcPuis j'ai fait un clique droit sur la partiton /dev/sdc1 et j'ai cliqué sur "Manage Flags"
Dans la fenêtre "Manage Flags /dev/sdc1" j'ai coché la case : [X] Boot
Maintenant j'ai bien Boot dans Flags

Je te prie donc de refaire exactement comme tu as fait pour faire ce Boot-Info mais cette fois au lieu de cliquer sur "Create a BootInfo summary", tu cliqueras sur "Recommended repair"
(*) dans le MBR de chacun des disques durs, il va y avoir un chargeur d'amorçage du Grub de Ubuntu 14.04 qui fera démarrer par défaut Ubuntu 14.04. Comme il est fort probable que tu aies des soucis avec la priorité de démarrage des disques durs, cela devrait résoudre ton problème.
EDIT : j'ai oublié de répondre au sujet du flag Boot : Grub n'utilise pas le flag Boot donc ce n'est pas la peine de t'inquiéter là-dessus.

sudo boot-repairPuis dans la fenêtre de "boot-repair" (Réparateur de démarrage) , j'ai cliqué sur le bouton "Recommended repair" (Reparation recommandée).
Il me répond :

Le souci est que tu as attribué un système de fichier "ext4" alors qu'il en faut aucun, il faut juste le flags "bios_grub".

Puis réinstaller Grub via Boot-Repair sur /dev/sdc

est-ce que l'accès à la partition SDB13 a été été fait et cela sans problème particulier.
J'ai quand même un souvenir que les disques de 3 To ne sont utilisables que pour seulement 2,2 To en Légacy
et il y a bien un message d'information

Non, il ne faut pas tenter de convertir en GPT, tu n'y as aucun intérêt : ton partitionnement est parfait parce que tu as bien mis la partition /home à l'intérieur de la partition étendue comme ça c'est possible de faire évoluer ce partitionnement plus facilement. Si tu veux ajouter une distribution dans l'avenir, il suffira - avec Gparted - de diminuer un peu la taille de ta partition /home pour libérer de la place et tu pourras rajouter une partition logique pour la racine de la nouvelle distribution.
Est-ce que le fonctionnement est correct à présent ?

Quelle différence y t'il a être en "msdos" ou "gpt" ?
J'ai un bios uefi ne faut il pas du "gpt" dans ce cas ?
La seul chose ou je ne suis pas sûr est la partition swap.
Le swap c'est bien pour hiberner et le swap doit avoir une taille légèrement plus grand que la mémoire, si je ne me trompe pas ?

Dans la doc, concernant les avantages de GPT par rapport à MSDOS, on voit que GPT prend en charge des disques de taille > 2.2 To mais tu t'en fous puisque ton disque fait 2 To. Il est dit aussi que tu peux faire un nombre infini de partitions primaires : là non plus ce n'est pas un souci pour toi puisque tu peux faire autant de partitions logiques que tu veux dans ta partition étendue (dans le post #11, j'ai expliqué comment faire pour ajouter une autre distribution mais tu peux encore en ajouter d'autres bien sûr).
Ce qui pourrait imposer d'utiliser GPT sur un lecteur, c'est dans le cas où Windows serait préinstallé dans cet ordi en mode EFI (j'en parle dans ce tuto) mais ce n'est pas ton cas. Et si demain tu devais installer Windows dans cet ordi il faudrait que tu respectes le principe du tuto à savoir que tu devrais installer Windows en mode non-EFI du fait que les autres OS sont installés en mode non-EFI.
EDIT : pour ce qui est de ta swap, tu as vu un peu grand mais tu t'en fous avec tous les Go de stockage que tu as dans ta machine. Si toutefois tu veux retoucher cela (diminuer la taille de la swap), je t'invite à créer une nouvelle discussion sur le sujet pour ne pas que celle-ci parte dans tous les sens. Je te propose de modifier le titre de ton PREMIER message pour qu'il devienne :

Je reviens quand même dans cette discution.
D'abord sur le GPT, En fait on ne convertit pas en GPT, On initialise le disque en GPT ou en MSDOS
S'il se révèle que le démarrage en EFI devient obligatoire, Il y aura du boulot à recommencer.
Je rappelle que je n'ai pas compris le problème des disques SDA eet SDB de 3 To chacun.
Dont le problème de la partition SDB13 resté sans réponse.
(the logical partition /dev/sdb13 is not contained in the extended partition /dev/sdb2)
J'ai vu dans le second boot-info que le disque SDB avait totalement disparu.
Je sais que ubuntu est nettement meilleur que windows, Mais mais à une époque, J'avais vu que l'espace disque utilisé au-dela de 2,2 To était en fait écrit en début de disque et donc détruisait les premières partitions.
