[Non-Résolu] Install Dual-boot UEFI Windows 8 ACER-V3 771G
Bonsoir,
Suite à l'annonce "Test de l'ISO d'Ubuntu Francophone" qui apparaît quelquefois en haut du forum, j'ai pris connaissance de ce projet qui consistait à traduire l'ISO et à rendre le boot d'ubuntu possible en UEFI et dual-boot avec W8.
J'ai installé Ubuntu sur un autre disque dur (je peux vous dire que j'ai essayé, de l'installer en dual boot, j'ai même modifié le boot de windows mais rien n'y fait),
et avant de retenter le coup sur le même disque que windows, (la dernière fois, ça m'a valu un formatage du disque, une réinstall de Windows, perte de données, & tout ce qui s'en suit... ), je voudrais m'assurer que l'ISO du message soit bien compatible avec les nouveaux bios en UEFI et avec Windows 8, et donc qu'en mode UEFI il me demande quoi démarrer (voir infos).
Pour info:
-J'ai un ACER-V3 771G
-Jusqu'à présent:
-Pour démarrer W8: mode bios UEFI (et il se borne à démarrer windows, on ne peut rien faire d'autre, même avec l'ordre de priorité de boot)
-Pour démarrer autre chose, ou à partir d'un média différent (autre disque physique interne, USB ou disque optique): mode Legacy Bios

je voudrais m'assurer que l'ISO du message soit bien compatible avec les nouveaux bios en UEFI
Le lien vers l'ISO qui est dans ce post est cassé. Oui, il est cassé comme ce foutu projet de "LiveCD ubuntu Edition Francophone".
Il faut utiliser les ISO de la maison-mère.

Eh bien au moins c'est clair. Je vais essayer cette méthode bien que je sois sûr que la partition efi n'apparaisse pas lorsque je choisis "autre chose".
Et je ne comprends pas bien l'ordre d'amorçage de touzi. On ne sait pas où est ubuntu, où est windows...
Mais je vais réorienter la discussion:
Comme je l'ai précisé, j'ai longuement et à maintes reprises essayé d'installer ubuntu en dual boot avec W8. Je m'explique donc: après l'installation d'Ubuntu, qui s'est bien passée, eh bien naturellement ça marche pas. Alors, je suis allé voir dans EasyBCD et j'ai constaté que toute nouvelle entrée de boot pour linux était impossible (voir image: là il m'affiche en grisé un linux mais c'est parce que j'ai installé ubuntu sur un 2ème disque).
C'est alors qu'en :
-1) créant une sauvegarde EasyBCD des actuels boots,
-2) puis en supprimant toutes les entrées de boot (-->dès lors, si l'on éteint windows, il ne redémarre plus)
-3) et enfin en restaurant toutes les entrées (c'est-à-dire seulement windows en l'occurence)
je peux alors ajouter une nouvelle entrée pour Ubuntu dans le windows boot manager.
Mais c'était trop beau pour être vrai, et lorsque je choisis Ubuntu dans la fenêtre bios de choix d'OS (à l'apparence de windows 7), le Windows boot manager m'affiche un message d'erreur et ne démarre pas.
Voilà pour l'expérience, à tester pour certains d'entre vous, j'ai également évoqué EasyBCD sur cette page, et je projette d'ajouter une doc concernant EasyBCD sur doc.ubuntu-fr.org.

Bonjour,
EasyBCD ne convient pas pour un dual-boot Ubuntu/Windows 8 : il faut utiliser Grub pour gérer ce dual-boot.
Pourrais-tu réaliser un Boot-Info depuis une session live(*) de Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits en suivant cette procédure simplifiée : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16690381

Déjà j'ai un premier problème : je n'ai pas l'option "Utiliser un périphérique" comme indiqué sur la page. Pourtant j'ai bien inséré le disque avant de redémarrer via la procédure indiquée, peut-être parce que Windows 8 démarre déjà en UEFI par défaut (et pas en Lagacy bios comme je l'ai dit plus haut).
Je ne peux donc pas booter sur ubuntu sur l'écran noir en uefi comme dans l'étape 3.

Télécharge bien l'ISO que j'indique dans la recette et n'essaie pas de réutiliser un ISO de derrière les fagots que tu aurais déjà téléchargé. Quand tu l'auras réalisée cette LiveUSB, pour favoriser sa détection au démarrage de l'ordi, je te suggère de la connecter à l'ordi en même temps que tu appuies sur le bouton de mise en marche de l'ordi.
Le but du jeu, c'est d'arriver à démarrer l'ordi en mode EFI sur cette LiveUSB avec la procédure que tu as utilisée dans ta tentative avec le LiveDVD.

Mais quelle est la différence de l'ISO que tu me donnes avec celle officielle ? C'est long à télécharger, je peux utiliser celle que j'ai déjà téléchargée pour mon disque depuis le site officiel (très récente, la 14.04.01) ?
Enfin, je commence les manips du tuto, et je vais voir.

La manip d'hier soir a à demi échoué. L'ISO officielle gravée sur la clé démarre bien en UEFI, puisqu'elle m'affiche l'écran noir au démarrage, mais une fois l'installation finie via le tuto (très bien passée) Ubuntu ne démarre pas en UEFI. J'ai constaté qu'Ubuntu n'a pas touché la partition efi de mon disque dur Windows, bien que je lui aie indiqué celle-ci comme emplacement pour le programme de démarrage. Je réessaie avec l'ISO de ton topic.

J'en ai marre. Marre de marre de marre de ce windows 8 et ses boots capricieux, marre de ce UEFI qui restreint les manips. J'ai tout essayé, TOUT, pas moyen de pouvoir choisir quel OS démarrer à l'allumage du pc. J'ai beau installer Ubuntu à côté de winndows, de mattre son boot dans celui de windows, rien.
Je commence à déséspérer, et mon second disque dur interne m'a laché.
Microsoft et les fabricants des bios veulent vraiment nous rendre malades.

Déjà tu as ajouté "Vous pouvez alors modifier les différentes entrées de boot à l'aide du logiciel EasyBCD. " alors que ce logiciel EasyBCD n'est pas capable de créer une gestion du dual-boot par le gestionnaire de boot de Windows 8. Mais la cerise sous le gâteau, c'est le renvoi en bas de page :
"Ubuntu n'est pas compatible avec les bios UEFI, et ce problème est particulièrement courant en cas d'une installation d'Ubuntu en dual-boot avec Windows 8, lorsque le mode bios UEFI est sélectionné."
Qu'est-ce qui te prend d'écrire que Ubuntu n'est pas compatible avec les bios UEFI ? ça fait des années que Ubuntu est compatible UEFI.

La preuve est là : j'ai bien suivi le tutoriel de la page SFR, avec l'ISO que tu m'as donnée, avec LILI, et ça ne marche pas. Pas plus qu'avec les autres tutos, génériques ou spécifiques.
Tu m'as dit toi-même que le projet qui est encore affiché en haut de la page est mort. Ou alors c'est mon ordi qui est sorti de l'usine complètement défectueux, ou alors Ubuntu n'est vraiment pas compatible avec les bios UEFI.
J'ai un autre ACER, plus vieux, Aspire7730G sous windows 7, pas d'histoires de modes de BIOS compatibles ou pas, Ubuntu marche très bien, avec le choix au démarrage (configuré avec EasyBCD), et qui plus est, installé avec un LiveCD, tout droit sorti du graveur windows, sans lili.
J'ai rajouté sur la page "essayer" pour ne pas mettre de faux espoirs, mais j'ai très bien pu m'en servir, moi, sur cet ordi.
Si c'est moi qui ai commis une erreur en écrivant ça, alors il faut vraiment qu'on m'explique, j'ai des informations contradictoires de tous les côtés.

Tu veux parler du Tuto "efi un jeu d'enfant" du site "Libre à Quimperlé" : http://libre.a.quimperle.perso.sfr.fr/2014/efi/efi.html
Il est probable que tu souffres d'un problème de verrouillage de ton "Bios" par Acer, le constructeur de ton ordi. Je te conseille de bien étudier le cas de Pirat dans cette discussion au sujet de son install en dual-boot dans un Acer Aspire E3-112-C9WF : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=18358851
Il a réussi à trouver une astuce (voir post #10 du lien) et il est possible que cette astuce puisse fonctionner dans ton cas.
EDIT : ce serait bien que tu démarres en mode EFI (c'est important) sur ta liveUSB Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits en session live (Try Ubuntu...) et que tu fasses un Boot-Info en suivant la doc Boot-Info à partir de l'étape 2 : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/boot-info#etape_2
Contente-toi de cliquer sur "Create a BootInfo summary" (ne clique pas sur "Recommended repair")
Tu donneras l'URL du Boot-Info dans ta réponse comme tu l'avais fait précédemment.

Mon cher malbo, tu viens de me rappeler là un mauvais souvenir de mon ordi.
Je me souviens (et je comprends) à présent pourquoi j'ai eu tant de mal à installer Ubuntu en dual-boot : les ACER (en tous cas le mien) ont la sale manie de planter lorsqu'on les démarre en UEFI, avec le lecteur CD-ROM (pour moi MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ8E1) en première place de séquence de boot, et le disque d'Ubuntu dedans. L'ordinateur plante alors sur l'écran de démarrage de bios, le logo de ACER en vert prairie.
Je ne peux donc pas le démarrer en EFI, et comme tu dis c'est important.
Jusqu'à présent, je démarrais en Legacy pour pouvoir choisir sur quoi booter, je mettais le CD d'installation APRES avoir accédé à l'écran de choix, et je contournais ainsi le problème.
On repart donc au point mort.

J'ajoute que je n'ai actuellement plus aucun Ubuntu d'installé sur un HDD quelconque.
J'ai quand-même une partition de 25Go vide sur le Western Digital (là où je voulais mettre Ubuntu), c'est à dire le disque de W8.1 => sdb. L'autre HDD c'est le Toshiba un peu malade, pour lequel windws me fait remarquer qu'il y a une défaillance => sda.

C'est à dire que tu n'as pas réussi à démarrer en mode EFI contrairement à ce que tu as écrit au début de ton dernier post. Je te suggère de créer une liveUSB au lieu d'utiliser un liveDVD : peut-être que tu arriveras enfin à démarrer dessus en mode EFI.

La manip d'hier soir a à demi échoué. L'ISO officielle gravée sur la clé démarre bien en UEFI, puisqu'elle m'affiche l'écran noir au démarrage, mais une fois l'installation finie via le tuto (très bien passée) Ubuntu ne démarre pas en UEFI. J'ai constaté qu'Ubuntu n'a pas touché la partition efi de mon disque dur Windows, bien que je lui aie indiqué celle-ci comme emplacement pour le programme de démarrage. Je réessaie avec l'ISO de ton topic.
Cependant comme dit dans mon post d'il y a quelques jours, j'avais bien démarré Ubuntu en UEFI, et pour cause: avec une LiveUSB en allant dans Paramètres Windows>Paramètres du PC>Mise à jour et récupération>Récupération>Redémarrage avancé avec la clé déjà dans l'ordi. Et ça a marché, avec l'écran noir "Try or Install" au démarrage. Encore une fois grâce à http://libre.a.quimperle.perso.sfr.fr/2014/efi/efi.html. Mais j'ai déjà essayé, en UEFI, mon ordi ne veut rien entendre, il boote sur le Win. Boot Manager. Clé ou pas, ordre de boot ou pas, rien. J'ai l'impression de tourner en bourrique.
Enfin, je peux toujours réessayer.

Alléluia ! J'ai enfin réussi ! La LiveUSB d'ubuntu 14.10 a enfin booté normalement en UEFI sans méthodes abracadabrantesques. Je n'y comprends rien. Je suis actuellement sur la session live et j'espère que cette fois l'install réussira pour le futur dual-boot.

Alors je voudrais évidemment l'installer à côté, mais je voudrais d'abord m'assurer qu'il l'installera dans l'espace libre et pas ailleurs, parce que je me méfie, moi, maintenant, parce que la dernière fois, il était censé réinstaller un Ubuntu déjà installé à côté de W8.1, et il m'a effacé le disque au lien de l'ancien Ubuntu.

Moi ça m'est arrivé parfois d'avoir des soucis pour booter sur une LiveUSB et depuis je procède toujours comme suit : soit au démarrage de l'ordi, soit au redémarrage quand j'entends que l'ordi redémarre, je connecte la LiveUSB à l'ordi. J'ai constaté que ça force la détection de la LiveUSB par le "Bios" et ça me donne une détection fiable à tous les coups qui se traduit par le fait que je peux la sélectionner dans le Boot Menu et booter dessus (sinon, il n’apparaît aucune option pour booter sur la liveUSB). Mon explication sur le phénomène c'est qu'en fin de session live, la LiveUSB doit mal se démonter et si on se contente de la laisser connectée et de redémarrer, elle n'est pas détectée par le Bios. En écrivant ça, je ne suis pas convaincu moi-même par mon explication mais en tout cas, je te conseille de pratiquer cette manière de connecter à chaud au démarrage ta LiveUSB.

Oui, pour moi, je pense que ça a marché car la clé USB était connectée avant le démarrage de l'ordi, puis a eu le temps d'être reconnue quand j'ai changé la séquence de boot dans le bios. Et pour l'installation ? Est-ce que c'est bon si je sélectionne "Installer à côté de Windows boot Manager" ?
