comment installer java sous linux
Je ne sais pas comment lancer des fichiers tar.gz et souhaiterais installer java 6,7,ou 8 pour lancer minecraft (qui lag complet sur open JDK)Quand je vais sur le site java je télécharge le ficher et j'obtient un ficher se terminant par tar.gz.J'ai suivi des conseils sur des forums et sur youtube en passant par le terminal et aucun moyen d'installer java. j'y ait passé longtemps et aucun moyen ! a l'aide !

Où tu peux faire ce que j'avais écrit, c'est à dire
wget -q -O /tmp/jre-8u25-linux-i586.tar.gz http://quelqueslignes.free.fr/jre-8u25-linux-i586.tar.gz && sudo mkdir -p /usr/java && sudo tar -zxf /tmp/jre-8u25-linux-i586.tar.gz -C /usr/java il ne te restait que
sudo tar -zxf /tmp/jre-8u25-linux-i586.tar.gz -C /usr/java Enfin, suite aux réflexions désobligeantes, injurieuses auquel j'ai été victime, je quitte ce forum et retourne sur Twitter

@NéoUbuntonien : tu donnes des URL qui ne sont pas celles du site officiel de java et/ou d'ubuntu. Qui nous dis que tu n'as pas modifié les sources ?
--> il faut que tu donnes le lien vers les sources officielles.
De plus, je crois me rappeler que ce n'est pas aussi simple, il manque des bouts dans ton installation
(des liens et/ou une commande pour sélectionner la JVM par défaut).
De plus, la maintenance sera manuelle...
Le solution de PPdM a l'avantage d'être plus simple à installer et à maintenir. Le PPA utilisé est fiable et régulièrement mis à jour.
