Laptop incompatible Ubuntu?

Bonjour. Je poste souvent des questions relatives à  l'utilisation de gutsy sur mon portable parce que je rencontre tout un tas de problèmes que je n'ai pas sur mon pc de bureau (freezes et absence de son sous feisty, wifi hyper instable et bug graphique au démarrage m'empêchant de choisir ma session entre GNOME et KDE, et bien d'autres sous gutsy), à  tel point que je me demande si mon laptop ne serait pas incompatible avec Ubuntu. Pour l'instant, je suis retourné sous feisty, mais je suis condamné à  ne pas avoir de son, et en plus, je préfère très largement gutsy pour sa simplicité d'utilisation, notemment pour la gestion du wifi et du ntfs.
Si quelqu'un a une idée pour que ma mise à  jour feisty vers gutsy se passe sans problèmes, je suis preneur.

Pour repartir sur de bonnes bases et éviter des pbs dues aux différentes mises à jour, il serait peut-être plus simple de repartir de zéro sad

De toutes façons, l'installation était fraîche: j'étais revenu à feisty avant-hier.

Avec Gutsy, bug graphique de l'affichage de l'écran de connection jusqu'au chargement complet du bureau : les lettres font toute la hauteur de l'écran. Du coup, impossible de changer de session GNOME/KDE; wifi hyper instable.
Je te posterai la totalité de dmesg lundi parce que je n'ai pas accès à mon portable d'ici là.

Ca ressemble peut-être à  un pb de résolution hmm
Pour voir, tu peux démarrer en mode sans échec et essayer un sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

et pour le wifi, tu vois pas? Parce que là , je suis chez ma mère et ma connection est de plus en plus lente. Je n'ai pas ce problème sous windows (enfin, je n'ai pas utilisé xp depuis plus d'1 mois...) et il est venu avec gutsy.

J'ai fait le iwconfig, mais j'ai pas pensé à  le prendre sur clé usb pour te le poster. De toutes façons, j'ai regardé, il ne fait qu'indiquer qu'aucune des connections n'est configurée. Normal, puisque je ne le suis pas connecté depuis la dernière réinstallation. Sinon, toujours rien coté affichage?

Ta carte ATI, tu as installé les drivers propriétaires ou libres ?

J'ai installé aucun pilote, vu que je n'ai accès à internet qu'à la fac ou chez ma mère chez qui je n'apporte jamais mon ordi portable. Je vais tester la commande et je te dirai si ca a marché et je te posterai iwconfig en même temps. Sinon, pour les drivers, est-il possible de les télécharger pour les installer "hors ligne"? Je ne trouve pas via google!

Bon, j'ai testé la manip en mode sans échec, mais aucun résultat (en même temps, jene suis pas sûr de la résolution de mon écran: j'ai mis 1024x768 pour un écran 15.4'').

Il y a un truc de clair, c'est que le routeur n'est pas reconnu, puisque c'est marqué Access Point : Not Associated hmm
Une solution (si je ne me pine pas lol )est de faire ça :

sudo iwconfig ra0 ap 00:17:33:73:A9:1D

et de redémarrer (en relançant la connexion par

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

, ça n'a jamais marché chez moi ; du coup, j'ai toujours redémarré comme un bourrin tongue ) et ressaie un iwconfig après pour voir si ton routeur est bien associé.

Là où c'est moins cool, c'est que le nom de ton réseau apparaît pour ton fixe (NEUF_A91C) mais pas pour ton portable roll

Tu as configuré ta connexion avec quoi ? A la main ou avec l'icône "Configuration manuelle du réseau" ?

Tu peux donner le résultat de cette commande :

iwlist ra0 scan

?

Et nous dire ce qu'il y a dans ton /etc/network/interfaces, en faisant par exemple :

sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces

?
