[Résolu] 12.04.5 LTS et Gparted : paquets non modifiables

Bonjour,

A partir d'un vieux portable, j'essaie de me monter un outil de travail à base 12.04.5 LTS et quelques logiciels, dont GPARTED

Impossible de l'installer car, en suivant les indications de la page ubuntu-fr, il me revient ce message :

serge@serge-HP-Pavilion-HDX9000-Notebook-PC:~$ sudo apt-get -y install gparted

Certains paquets ne peuvent être installés. Ceci peut signifier
que vous avez demandé l'impossible, ou bien, si vous utilisez
la distribution unstable, que certains paquets n'ont pas encore
été créés ou ne sont pas sortis d'Incoming.
L'information suivante devrait vous aider à résoudre la situation : 

Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites :
 gparted : Dépend: libglibmm-2.4-1c2a (>= 2.36.2) mais 2.32.0-0ubuntu1 devra être installé
E: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode « garder en l'état ».

Je ne suis pas très compétent en informatique mais plein de bonne volonté. Et surtout, je ne souhaite pas casser mon installation, qui fût longue mais gratifiante, en faisant n'importe quoi.

J'ai ainsi bien envie de modifier l'état de mes paquets, ceux que je dois "garder en l'état" mais je ne sais ni si c'est souhaitable ni comment le faire éventuellement.

Possible, cela doit l'être puisque j'ai installé également un Emmabuntu 12.04 avec Gparted dessus !

Si une bonne âme informaticienne voulait bien m"indiquer un début de piste........  merci d'avance !

tapes

sudo apt-get update

et postes le résultat ENTIER de la commande

Sans que tu perdes trop de temps, si tu pouvais juste un peu commenter ce que tu me fais faire, ce serait sympa car j'apprendrai un peu mieux à me débrouiller et me coucherai moins bête !

Je t'ai juste fait supprimer le dépôt PPA andykimpe-gparted
qui comprenait une version de gparted trop avancée, incompatible
avec le paquet libglibmm-2.4-1c2a installé sur ton système

oui, avec la commande "rm", tu m'as fait effacer un fichier/adresse du dépôt dans le dossier /etc/apt/sources.list.

Je continue à étudier toutes tes demandes, je cale sur la commande "cat", que je ne comprends pas (encore). bah, j'ai du temps, de la doc et l'envie. je vais trouver !

juste un grand merci pour ton temps passé à m'aider, c'est assez rare par les temps qui courent, donc j’apprécie !

cat affiche juste le contenu d'un fichier.
Exemple :

cat /etc/fstab

mais j'ai un peu triché en affichant le contenu de tous les fichiers du répertoire /etc/apt/sources.list.d
avec la commande

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*
