Prob installation xubuntu double boot asus1005HA win7 starter [Résolu]

Bonjour,
Le noob windoxien que je suis a besoin d'aide. En effet j'aimerais installer xubuntu en double boot sur mon Asus 1005HA pre equipe par Win7 starter.
J'ai bien sur lu pas mal de tutoriel mais visiblement il y a quelque chose qui coince.
Sur mon ordi il y a 4 partitions précrées par Asus :Partitions de base.
Apres nettoyage et defragmentation j'arrive à dégager de l'espace libre sur C ou sur D comme ici
J'éteinds mon ordi et je redemarre sur ma cle portant Xubuntu (clef bootable créée avec Unetbootin). Je lance la procédure d'installation et on me propose soit d'écraser Win 7 soit "autre". Je choisi "autre" et bien sur je choisi l'espace libéré mais là ça coince. L'installation est refusée car "pas de système de fichier"?
J'ai essayé de créer un système de fichier en formatant le volume libre dans windows mais la seule option c est la création de volume dynamique et même si j'accepte il m'est répondu que "les disques dynamiques ne sont pas pris en charge par ce système d'exploitation".
Côté Linux j'ai essayé de lancer GParted mais là pas possible non plus car je n'ai pas les droits administrateurs (ou root?). Donner les droits administrateurs à ma cession live n'a rien résolu.
Voila où j'en suis. Je suis ouvert à toute aide.

Bonjour,

c’est Windows 7, mais il est installé en UEFI comme Windows 8, donc tu peux suivre ce tuto ou bien encore celui-ci.

J'essaie de suivre ces tutos qui ressemblent à ceux que je connaissais, mais ça s'arette au même endroit . Apres avoir clique sur "autre" j arrive bien à la table avec les différentes partitions mais si je choisi l'espace libre pour installer Xunbuntu il me dit qu il ne peux pas , et je ne peux pas créer de nouvelle table de partition dessus. Par contre si je sélectionne /dev/sda alors je peux créer une nouvlle table de partition mais ça me dit que ça va détruire l existante et ça je ne veux pas. Alors que faut il faire exactement?. Merci de ton aide

Non, il ne faut effectivement pas créer une nouvelle table de partition.
Clique sur l’espace libre puis clique sur le bouton [+] en bas à gauche et tu tu devrais avoir quelque chose comme ceci.

Ton PC a combien de mémoire RAM ?

J'ai 1 go de RAM
Par contre ce que tu me proposes ne marche pas. Quand je vais sur l'espace libre j'ai beau cliqué gauche rien ne se passe , de meme le bouton "change" n'est pas dispo voir ici

Pas le bouton [Change…] mais le bouton [+] un peu plus à gauche.
Ensuite tu prends tout l’espace moins 1 giga ; utiliser comme, ext4 ; point de montage, « / ».
Puis tu recommences avec l’espace restant et là, tu choisis utiliser comme « swap ».

Juste une remarque : avec 20 giga, le système risque d’être assez rapidement à l’étroit. Peut-être devrais-tu essayer de libérer un peu plus d’espace avec Windows.
Si tu arrives à libérer 20 giga supplémentaires, tu pourrais alors prendre 15 ou 20 comme indiqués ci-dessus en point de montage « / », 1 giga pour le swap et le reste avec le point de montage « /home » (en ext4).

C’est en effet pas visible sur la photo, je croyais qu’il était accessible.
Dans ce cas, je ne vois plus ce qu’il est possible de faire à part peut-être essayer de recréer la clé mais avec lili.
Sinon, avais tu contrôlé la somme md5 de l’iso téléchargée ?

J'ai laissé unetbootin téléchargé et "installer" la distrib xubuntu sur la clef. Je n'ai pas de fichier .iso. Par contre sur la cle je trouve un md5sum :

Unetbootin vérifie le téléchargement à l’aide de ces sommes. Donc en principe la clé est correcte.
Essaye avec lili, c’est le même principe pour le téléchargement.
Il y a parfois des mystère entre unetbootin et lili. Une image iso va fonctionner correctement avec l’un mais pas l’autre ou inversement.
En espérant que tu auras plus de chance.

Je ne pense pas. La partition intitulée efi est trompeuse (certains recovery affichent efi à tort), mais le disque est bel est bien en mbr. La partition système "active" est un indice, et W7 starter n'existe de toute manière qu'en version 32 bits. Donc, l'uefi serait étonnant. Un sudo fdisk -l ou un sudo parted -l le confirmeront.

Pour moi, tu as simplement atteint la limite des 4 partitions. Donc rien ne peut plus s'installer.

Je reviens vers vous et ma situation a un petit peu évolué. J'ai tout d'abord recréé une clef avec lili mais cela ne m'offrait pas plus de possibilité qu'avec unet, si ce n'est que j'ai enfin accès à gparted et celui ci m'a mis sur la voie (enfin je pense). En effet Gparted refuse de toucher à l'espace libre du fait que j'avais atteint mes 4 partitions principales et là ca fait tilt dans ma tete ( je n'avais pas encore lu le message de ikewdu à ce moment là). J'ai donc modifié ma partition D qui contient visiblement des sauvegardes de patch de windows en disque logique. Puis j'ai réduit sa taille pour libérer 100 Go. Du coup qd j'ai redémarré sur la clef et lancer l'install cela m'a proposé pour la premiere fois d'installer côte à côte windows et xubuntu. Si je clique sur "autre" et en allant sur l'espace libre ce coup ci je peux cliquer sur le bouton"+". Mais du coup je me pose une question dois je choisir l'option "installer linux et windows côte a côte" ou choisir "autre" et je fais ce que nany a proposé en #6 ?

ça ne va pas : il faut que ta partition étendue occupe tout l'espace entre sda1 et sda2. Réutilise Gparted depuis une session live pour faire ça (agrandir la partition étendue). Ensuite, toujours avec Gparted, crée tes partitions logiques pour Ubuntu à l'intérieur de ta partition étendue suivant les préconisation de nany dans le post #6 à savoir :
- une partition logique (à l'intérieur de la partition étendue) de 20 Go en EXT4 pour la racine de Ubuntu
- une partition logique (à l'intérieur de la partition étendue) de 1 Go pour la swap
- une partition logique (à l'intérieur de la partition étendue) format EXT4 qui occupe tout le reste de ta partition étendue pour /home.

A priori, ça semble correct. Je pense que tu peux y aller. Attends confirmation de malbo, deux avis valent mieux qu'un.

tu m'as fait une "frayeur" : j'ai vu un message de ta part avec un joli schema avec des crochets et tout et j'ai eu un doute sur ce que j'avais fait et puis tout d'un coup ce message a disparu

Histoire de rattraper ma boulette de ce matin. J’ajouterais un troisième avis.
C’est bien comme ça.
Si j’ai bien compris, sda5 est l’ancien D qui a été recréé dans la partition étendue.
sda6 sera le « / », sda7 le « swap » et sda8 le « /home ».

du coup je lance quoi comme installation pour mon double boot windaube/xubuntu? la cohabitation ou "autre" en choisissant sda6 pour installer xubuntu?

Autre chose. Swap devrait être reconnu. Il faudra juste spécifié ext4 et « / » pour sda6 et ext4 et « /home » pour sda8.
