RESOLU : Problème mise à jour Ubuntu 12.10

Bonjour,

J'ai un probléme concernant Ubuntu 12.10 en effet je n'arrive pas à faire les mises à jour, et passer sur Ubuntu 14.04.
Je l'ai installé il y a un moment mais je n'avait pas besoin d'utiliser mon ordinateur avant, maintenant c'est le cas. Alors je sais que les mises à jour ne sont plus disponibles sur 12.10, mais j'aurais voulu savoir si il y avait un autre moyen de "upgrade" pour la version 14.04.

Voici, quand je saisi la commande sudo apt-get upgrade :

Bonjour,

Tu as deux solutions :
- refaire une installation de Ubuntu 14.04 avec DVD ou clé USB. (Remettra tout à zéro, mais l'installation sera propre.)
- Tenter une mise à niveau depuis la 12.10 avec cette commande dans le terminal :

do-release-upgrade

La solution 2 pourrait entrainer des imprévus et bugs à corriger plus tard.

Dans tous les cas, je te conseille vivement de faire une sauvegarde de tes fichiers et tester d'abord une session live Ubuntu 14.04 pour voir si tout marche.

Merci mais j'ai modifié mon message avec la commande "do-release-upgrade", et ca marche pas. sad
Donc la seule solution reste à refaire une install sur DVD ou USB ?

Est-ce que dans les options de mises à jour (Logiciels et mises à jour), Tu as l'option "me prévenir qu'une nouvelle version est disponible" sur "prise en charge sur le long terme"

Non, je ne l'avais pas. Je l'ai mis sur "prise en charge sur le long terme". Mais pas de réactions lol

si do-release-upgrade ne donne toujours rien, je crois que tu es en effet obligé de ré-installer.

neutral Arff...mince. Merci quand même pour tes réponses, bon c'est parti pour un petit tuto d'installation sur clé U.S.B (j'espére aussi facile que sur D.V.D). Mais je vais suivre tes conseils et commencer par tester une session live car c'est vrai que j'en ai jamais fait avec ubuntu lol

Bon du coup j'avait un D.V.D avec Ubuntu 11.10 d'installer dessus, je l'ai installer sur mon pc et fait la MAJ vers 12.04, comme c'est une version supportée à long terme je pense garder cette version. Cela me suffit amplement cool Merci pour tout.

Par contre, bizarre que la MàJ depuis la 11.10 à marché, mais pas depuis la 12.10.
