[RESOLU] Liste compatibilité Linux Live Creator pour Live USB
Bonjour
je veux me faire une clé usb live pour tester et installer Ubuntu LTS, je devrais récupérer mon matériel samedi.
J'ai installé Linux Live USB Créator 2.9.2 et il n'y a pas la version LTS dans les choix de téléchargement. J'ai donc téléchargé l'ISO (ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.zip) ici mais quand je le sélectionne il me dit que cet ISO n'est pas dans la liste de compatibilité et qu'il essaiera quand même de l'installer en utilisant les mêmes paramètres que pour la version 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" (Unity) (64bits).
J'ai loupé quelque chose ?!

Je vais recommencer ce soir en téléchargeant depuis le .com

et si cela ne marche toujours pas, essaye un autre logiciel de création de clé usb bootable

J'ai le même message quand je crée des clés bootables Ubuntu 14.04.1 avec linux live, et ça marche quand-même. Tu n'as rien loupé

Je vais lancer l'installation avec cet ISO, je verrais bien, au pire je recommencerais, ce n'est pas très long.
J'ai pris un Zotac BI320 + 4Go de DDR3L + SSD de 120Go.
Je ferais un retour de tout ça, avec un point de vue de débutant.

Quelques détails supplémentaires, pour les débutants par un débutant :
- Installation RAM et SSD : 5 minutes
- Mise en place du PC à sa place et câblage : 5 minutes au moins le temps de bouger le meuble...
- Clavier Logitech K400 infrarouge opérationnel dès l'installation (j'avais un doute et je redoutais de devoir aller débrancher mon clavier et ma souris sur mon ordi principal)
- installation Ubuntu : 35/40 minutes depuis clé USB
- création de 3 partitions sur SSD : swap, racine et home en suivant le tutoriel d'installation du site ubuntu-fr
Petit souci à régler : bord de l'image sont rogner, je ne vois donc pas la barre supérieure et que partiellement les barres latérales.
J'ai trouvé un sujet sur le forum qui parle de ce type de probleme, la solution serait un réglage sur la télé, je vais regarder cela dans la semaine.

Depuis une session de ton Ubuntu installé, pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info et poster l'URL du Boot-Info obtenu afin de donner un exemple d'installation ?

On y voit une installation classique (installation en mode Bios) avec table de partition MSDOS pour ton SSD. A mon avis, c'est exactement le type d'installation qui convient pour installer Ubuntu tout seul dans un SSD.
Dans ce Boot-Info, je ne sais pas voir si ton "Bios" est en fait un système UEFI que tu as paramétré pour qu'il se comporte comme un Bios ou bien si c'est réellement un "vieux" Bios. As-tu vérifié si c'est un système UEFI ?
EDIT : la doc de ton ZOTAC ZBOX BI320 ne mentionne pas si c'est un UEFI mais c'est vrai que ce n'est pas toujours précisé dans les pages d'un site vendeur.

je plaide coupable : j'ai monté les composants, branché l'alim, le HDMI, mis le récepteur infrarouge du clavier, la clé live USB et j'ai allumé le PC... J'ai juste fais les partitions manuellement en prenant le tuto du site.
J'avais lu pas mal d'info sur le BIOS et UEFI et dans le doute j'ai lancé en l'état, et ça à fonctionné. Sachant qu'aucun n'OS n'était installé.
Si tu veux pour compléter ces infos je peux faire cette manip prise sur le site :
2.4Identifier si l'ordinateur démarre sur le disque dur en mode EFI
Cela n'est possible que si vous avez déjà installé Ubuntu sur le disque dur. Ou bien en regardant dans les réglages du BIOS (voir paragraphe ci-dessous).
Depuis une session Ubuntu installée sur le disque (à noter que ça fonctionne aussi pour une session liveCD ou liveUSB), il suffit d'ouvrir un terminal, et saisir la commande suivante:
[ -d /sys/firmware/efi ] && echo "Session EFI" || echo "Session non-EFI"
Remarque: si le démarrage est en mode classique (le résultat de la commande est "Session non-EFI"), soit le BIOS n'est pas de type UEFI, soit le BIOS est de type UEFI mais n'est pas réglé pour démarrer sur le disque dur en mode UEFI.

Cela dit faire une installation en Legacy sur une carte mère qui supporte l'EFI, cela n'a rien de dramatique quand ce dernier n'apporte rien de plus...
Sur mon PC fixe, Ubuntu 14.04.2 lts est installé en Legacy, et pourtant l'OS et la carte mère sont tous les 2 compatibles EFI
Et tout va bien !

j'ai lu pas mal de page ici même sur le sujet sans tout comprendre, j'ai donc choisi de tenter l'installation en l'état, si cela n'avait pas marché j'aurais repris l'installation autrement !
Bon là je galère pas mal avec l'affichage qui est rogné en haut et sur les cotés, mes essais de réglages de ce matin sur ma TV (SAMSUNG LE32S71B - LCD - HD Ready 1366 x 768) n'a rien donné. Je pense (à l'instant !) qu'il me faut forcer la résolution en sortie du PC à 1366x768, option non proposée il me semble dans le menu de réglage de Unity. Je verrais cela ce soir chez moi.
