Le-Plantigrade

Wifi : déconnections intempestives sous 14.04 LTS

Suite a une remarque pertinente d'un membre de ce forum, je me permets de m'ouvrir a vous d'un problème qui me pourri l’existence et qui menace de me faire perdre mon calme.
Heureux possesseur d'un poste fixe que je n'ai ni assemblé, ni installé moi-même (merci beau-papa), je constate que ce dernier n'est pas des plus performant quand il s'agit de rester connecter plus de quelques minutes...

J'ai d'abord cru qu'il s'agissait d'un problème lié a Skype mais, a l'évidence, cela ne vient pas de là (même inutilisé, le problème perssiste...)
Du coup, démuni et pas franchement doué quand il s'agit d'informatique, je viens pleurer a l'aide...

Donc, les symptômes sont les suivants : une fois connecté a ma box (une livebox play sur une ligne "bas débit", les joies de la campagne profonde), mon poste "perd" le réseau qui lui devient invisible et donc se déconnecte. Celà intervient de façon anarchique mais de façon très fréquente lorsque je suis en viso-conférence sur Skype!

Voilà! C'est presque aussi abscond pour moi que de tenter d'invoquer Cthullu...
J'ai quand même fait les manip "de base" accessible a mon fort minable talent, a savoir rebooter la livebox et passer le système de phrase de sécurité en WPA2-PSK/AES...

D'avance merci de venir en aide a l'ours des cavernes!

Je me permets de faire une chtite relance...
D'ordinaire, je n'insisterais pas, mais ma connexion est actuellement le seul lien qui me permette de communiquer avec mon épouse partie en Corée du sud pour un an... Comprenez donc que j'insiste un peu!

Toutefois j'ai eu un problème similaire... et toutafai qui connaît bien la question; j'en suis certain, vous aidera. Je vois que vous utilisez aussi une livebox Orange, que vous avez modifié le 'mix' WPA/WPA2 et 'rebooté' la livebox. En général cela suffit à récupérer le wifi. Avez-vous averti Orange pour leur signaler vos ennuis? Si la zone est isolée (pas d'autre wifi détecté semble-t-il!) il se peut que la couverture ne soit plus effective
