version BIOS 1.6.0.0 sur compaq-presario cq58

Salut,

Après avoir installer et tester ubuntu 14.04 sur virtualbox, j'aimerais aujourd'hui avoir ubuntu comme 2ième IOS sur mon pc.Et pour ce fait, j'ai téléchargé ubuntu 14.04 que j'ai mis sur clé USB.J'ai aussi fais de la place dans C:\ pour ubuntu.Mais mon problème se situe au niveau BIOS.J'ai fais F2 et ça m'a donné ça:

J'ai un CQ61. Alors pour démarrer via clé USB, appuyer sur echap puis F9 pour ensuite choisir l'amorçage sur usb (nom de marque de ton clé usb devrait alors être affiché)

VirtualBox, c'est bien gentil et bien utile mais quand on passe à l'install "pour de vrai", il faut s'appliquer. Déjà, il faut utiliser la "bonne" version de Ubuntu qui convient à ton ordi qui n'est pas un lapin de l'année (je pense qu'il est sorti en 2012) : c'est Ubuntu 14.04.1 qui convient et non pas la version récente Ubuntu 14.04.2. Motif : la version 14.04.1 est maintenue jusqu'en Avril 2019(*) alors que la version 14.04.2 est maintenue que jusqu'en Août 2016 (cette dernière version - 14.04.2 - n'est utile que pour les ordis très très récents, ce qui n'est pas le cas de ton ordi). En conséquence, je te recommande de réaliser une LiveUSB Ubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits en suivant exactement cette recette : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=16713311
Quand cette LiveUSB sera réalisée, je te prie de ne pas te lancer brutalement dans l'installation - risque d'écrasement de Windows - mais de faire un Boot-Info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
Ce que j'attends du Boot-Info : savoir si Windows 7 est installé en mode EFI ou en mode Legacy (mode non-EFI), savoir dans quel mode (EFI ou non-EFI) tu démarres sur ta LiveUSB. A partir de là, je pourrai te donner des directives pour la suite.

Mais encore une chose, est-ce que je peux déjà désinstaller virtualbox vu que je dois faire un LiveUSB?

Tu peux le désinstaller tout de suite ou plus tard, moi je ne vois pas quelle importance ça peut avoir dans ton projet d'installation.

Bonsoir malbo,

J'ai crée la clé LiveUSB et là comment faire pour obtenir l'URL que tu me demandes vu que, quand je fais F10 ,je tombe sur la BIOS de mon ordi et j'ai fais une liste des lignes qu'il contient et aussi, parce que je ne sais pas où rentrer pour démarrer sur la clé LiveUSB que j'ai crée.

Au vu de sa taille, je pense qu'il s'agit de la partition Recovery sauf que cette partition est endommagée puisque son système de fichiers est inconnu. As-tu gravé des DVD Recovery ou as-tu réalisé une clé USB de restauration en configuration "usine" qui te permettrait de pouvoir réinstaller Windows 7 à neuf en cas de pépin ?

Non je n'ai jamais fais ce genre de truc.Je ne m'y connais pas trop en confirguration ou maintenance informatique alors je ne sais pourquoi je ferrai ça?
Raison pour laquelle je suis là pour ne pas faire de bêtises et perdre des choses importantes sur mon PC. Alors comment je peut remédier à ça pour ne pas avoir de pépins sur mon PC et aussi à l'installation d'ubuntu? Et aussi pour ne plus avoir de pépins dans le futur sur mon ordi?

Je ne sais pas t'aider à créer des DVD Recovery (en supposant que ce soit encore possible mais j'en doute puisque ta partition Recovery est nase) : demande de l'aide sur le Forum des utilisateurs HP
A moins qu'un utilisateur d'ordi HP du forum ubuntu-fr sache te guider pour cela.

Salut malbo,

je reviens vers toi et la communauté parce que,quand je demandes à ubuntu de s'installer à coté de windows(comme le demande dans la config ubuntu en 1er choix) il se lance sur la clé c-à-d il ne s'installe pas. Alors je passes par le logiciel GPARTED pour m'assurer où doit etre loger ubuntu, il me trouve la partition /dev/dsa3 avec le nom que je lui ai attribué. Mais quand j'arrive sur la partie où ubuntu me demande où il serra logé j'hésites de choisir /dev/dsa3 vu qu'il ne met pas le nom que je lui ai attribué à coté /dev/dsa3. Alors je veux savoir est ce que la partition /dev/dsa3 dans le logiciel GPARTED diffère du /dev/dsa3 dans l'installation d'ubuntu?

NB: Quand on arrive à la dernière étape de l'installation d'ubuntu.

Au fait, ma partition créée pour accueillir ubuntu est en 3ième position dans mon OS WINDOWS et en /dev/dsa3 sur GPARTED. Mais est-ce le même à l'installation final d'ubuntu quand la cas en bas demande:
Le périphérique où serra installer le progamme.....

et il faut choisir l'emplacement??? J'ai un doute alors j'aimerais lever se doute pour pouvoir installer enfin ubuntu en dual-boot sur mon pc.

La mention "42 SFS" qu'on peut voir en fin de chacun des partitions est le signe d'un partitionnement très particulier qui est propre à Windows dont je parle dans ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … 1#p3519571
Heureusement que tu n'as pas poussé plus loin pour installer Ubuntu parce qu'à l'heure qu'il est, tu n'aurais plus de Windows. Il est impossible de faire cohabiter Ubuntu et Windows dans un disque dynamique. Je te recommande de renoncer à installer Ubuntu dans ce disque et de le laisser tranquillement avec Windows. Si tu tiens absolument à avoir un dual-boot, il faut installer Ubuntu sur un deuxième disque dur : disque dur interne si c'est possible avec ton modèle d'ordi (s'il y a un emplacement dispo pour ça) ou disque dur externe.

La mention "42 SFS" qu'on peut voir en fin de chacun des partitions est le signe d'un partitionnement très particulier qui est propre à Windows dont je parle dans ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … 1#p3519571
Heureusement que tu n'as pas poussé plus loin pour installer Ubuntu parce qu'à l'heure qu'il est, tu n'aurais plus de Windows. Il est impossible de faire cohabiter Ubuntu et Windows dans un disque dynamique. Je te recommande de renoncer à installer Ubuntu dans ce disque et de le laisser tranquillement avec Windows. Si tu tiens absolument à avoir un dual-boot, il faut installer Ubuntu sur un deuxième disque dur : disque dur interne si c'est possible avec ton modèle d'ordi (s'il y a un emplacement dispo pour ça) ou disque dur externe.

Au fait, j'ai fais cette manipulation :

1. Panneau de configuration > Système et sécurité > Outils d’administration > Gestion de l'ordinateur

2. Dans la colonne de gauche : Stockage > Gestion des disques

3. Clic droit sur (C:) > Réduire le volume
(ça prend un peu de temps pour analyser l'espace à réduire)

4. Une fenêtre s'ouvre avec le champ "Quantité d'espace à réduire (en Mo)" > Mets au moins 20000 (20 Go) > Clic sur le bouton Réduire
NB: (je crois j'avais déjà fais ça donc du coup,je suis passé à l'étape 5)

5. Tu as donc un nouvel espace libre non alloué > Clic droit dessus > Nouveau volume simple

6. Ensuite tu peux faire Suivant jusqu'au bout avec les paramètres par défaut, à l'étape formatage NTFS tu peux laisser vide le champ "Nom de volume" sinon le lecteur s'appelera "Nouveau nom" par défaut (tu peux changer ce nom à tout moment en faisant clic droit > proprietés).

Si tout se passe bien tu devrais donc avoir un nouveau lecteur dans le poste de travail, c'est sur ce lecteur qu'il faudra installer Ubuntu et en faisant ça tu n'as aucun risque d'affecter ton windows.

Et cet lecteur créer est reconnu par le logiciel d'ubuntu GPARTED à : /dev/dsa3 suivie du nom que je lui ai donné(futur_home_ubuntu). VOIR BOOT-INFO
Mais dans l'étape finale d'installation ubuntu, je me demandes si le /dev/dsa3 est pareil que celui que reconnait GPARTED ?
Si c'est le même alors je me dis que dans la case en bas qui demande où serra loger ubuntu? je peux choisir /dev/dsa3 qui pour moi devrait correspondre à mon lecteur créer(futur_home_ubuntu)???
Parce que aussi quand je fais installer ubuntu à côté de windows, ubuntu redemarre mais sur la clé donc s'installe pas. Et sur GPARTED , mes partitions ont le point d'exclamation(!) qui m'emêche d'aller dans l'onglet : partition -> news???

je t'ai écrit ce que j'avais à dire dans le post #16 mais je te répète : si tu insistes pour installer Ubuntu, tu vas perdre l'accès à Windows. A partir de maintenant, j'arrête d'intervenir dans cette discussion.

@Corto Celtic : je pense que ça va être dur (*) aussi je te prie de créer une nouvelle discussion pour ton cas.

(*) dans ce fil pour un CQ58, on peut voir que le Bios est un vrai sac de nœuds (il se peut qu'il soit tout simplement bogué). C'est pour ça que je pense que ça va être compliqué...
