[Réglé] le telechargement des informations du dépôt à échoué
Bonsoir, depuis une semaine, j'ai ce message d'erreur à chaque fois que je veux faire une mise à jour
le telechargement des informations du dépôt à échoué , vérifier votre connexion internet
Etant nouveau sous Linux et n'y connaissant pas grand chose, j'ai cherché sur le net et sur ce forum avant de venir vous demander de l'aide
Si une ame charitable pouvait m'aider ce serait sympa

Cela marche en partie
Quand je vérifie manuellement si il y a une mise à jour, cela me dit la même chose mais quand je clique sur valider, cela me propose tout de même la mise à jour ......

il va falloir les enlever

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.listet enleve les deux dernieres lignes (celles avec sugus)
enregistre et ferme la fenetre
ensuite
sudo apt-get updateet tu devrais etre bon
je ne suis pas seulement un con...

Attention jean bono ! Ce n'est pas sudo gedit mais gksudo gedit ! Et c'est comme ça pour toutes les applications graphiques.
Je t'ai déjà fait cette remarque dans une autre discussion et tu n'en tiens pas compte, sauf qu'à donner des commandes incorrectes à ceux que tu aides, tu vas immanquablement leur causer des problèmes à plus ou moins long terme.

Ca fait 8 ans que j'utilise des OS linux et j'ai toujours utilise sudo pour lancer des applications graphiques en tant que root
Je suis bien conscient qu'il existe des alternatives mais j'ai jamais entendu dire qu'il fallait absolument utilser gksudo
Tout comme Olivi4, je veux bien voir un article qui decrit exactement pour quelle raison utiliser l'un et non l'autre

Bonjour,
il ne faut effectivement pas ABSOLUMENT utiliser gksudo pour les applications graphique mais il est tout de même conseillé de prendre cette habitude pour éviter des problèmes liés avec ~/.Xauthority et ~/.ICEauthority.

À noter que gksu n’est plus installé par défaut dans les dernières versions d’Ubuntu, pkexec étant privilégié mais cette solution est moins simple à mettre en œuvre :
