erreur au démarrage (résolu)

c'est fait, sauf que j'ai oublié de sauver /media/sdb6/etc/fstab
mais je crois qu'il était le meme que le premier fstab et que j'ai sauvé comme tu l'a écris
j'y ai mis la meme chose que pour l'autre es ce ok ?
et maintenant que faire?

je redémarre ??

Ben non il fallait adapter.
En effet sur /dev/media/sdb6 le fstab est forcement différent que sur /dev/sda1.

Liste-le et on va le modifier.

Il faudrait potasser un peu tout ça et comprendre ce qu'on fait. Dans fstab, tu indiques au système oà¹ sont tes différents systèmes de fichier et le FS / ne peut pas être au même endroit sur 2 distributions différentes.

En fait :
/dev/media/sdb6/etc/fstab devrait ressembler à ceci :

Cela a 2 inconvénients :
1) surcharger ton menu
2) dès la première mise à jour sur tes install /dev/sda1 et/ou /dev/sdb6, ce menu deviendra inopérant.
Je m'explique : tu définis le kernel :
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic mais si ce n° change tu auras un joli "erreur 15" de grub.
Ton install /dev/sda2 sera mise à jour car grub gère tout ce qui est entre :
### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST et
### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST

Mais pas les 2 autres.

La solution :
1) Dans chacune des 2 distributions sur :
/dev/media/sda1/boot/grub/menu.lst et
/dev/media/sdb6/boot/grub/menu.lst
vérifier que les références kernel et surtout UUID sont en phase avec ce qui est listé ci-dessus.
Si tout est ok il faut remplacer la partie listée ci-dessus par ceci (toujours dans le menu.lst de ta partition de boot sur /dev/sda2) :

Il nous reste encore qq chose à faire.
Il est necessaire maintenant de faire booter séparément chaque système et donc de créer le grub loader sur chaque partition concernée :
Tu lances :
sudo grub --> grub>
là tu tapes :
find /boot/grub/menu.lst --> te donne toutes les install de grub. devrait donner :
(hd0,0)
(hd0,1)
(hd1,5)
là tu tapes les commandes suivantes :
setup (hd0,0) (hd0,0)
setup (hd0,1) (hd0,1) ---> celle-ci n'est pas indispensable mais c'est pas grave.
setup (hd1,5) (hd1,5)

tu termines par
quit

et normalement tout devrait fonctionner.

Si tu as un doute, liste les menu.lst de /dev/sda1 et /dev/sdb6 (entre balises [Code] de préférence)

bonjour,
me revoila, après le boulot.
bon, c'est pas fini...
je fais un effort pour te suivre , je résume pour voir si j'ai bien compris.
tu veux que je remplace le menu.lst par la version super courte que tu donne, je trouve cela très cool, mais tuvoudrais que je vérifie les lignes du kernel et les uuid qu'ils soit en phase , c'est a dire les memes ?
je voudrais te signaler que depuis que j'ai rebooté avec le nouveau menu.lst
ma connection est tombée a environ 10kloctet a la place d'environ 380kloctets !!!!
comment je retrouve ma configuration de connection ?
ca semble tres bizarre qu'il y ai un lien avec la procedure mais je n'ai rien touché d'autre

Attention attention.
Tout d'abord tu n'es pas obligé de le faire bien entendu, c'est simplement un conseil.

Ensuite ne pas faire n'importe quoi. Je ne t'ai jamais dit de remplacer tout le menu.lst mais simplement une partie (j'ai listé l'existant et ce qu'il faudrait mettre à la place).

Essaye tout d'abord de bien comprendre ce qui est écrit avant de faire quoi que ce soit.

De plus avant de modifier tu sauvegardes

Pour vérifier les menu.lst sur tes 2 environnements sda1 et sdb6, le plus simple est de les lister ici. Mais il faut mettre le résultat entre balises [Code] pour + de lisibilité.

Pour les balises, c'est juste au dessus de la fenetre de saisie de message :
B pour mettre en gras I italiques etc.. Code pour ....
Tu cliques dans code et ça crée à la position du curseur les fameuses balises et tu mets ton texte à l'intérieur.

Je te pose le menu.lst de sda1 :

je n'y suis pour rien dans l'élaboration de ces menu.lst grub a fait les installs et ne m'a rien demandé, c'est lui qui a mis ces numéros et cette salade, bon peut etre qu'il a eut du mal a suivre des qu'il y eu trois os, une xp et deux linux, et maintenant pour ne rien arrangé j'ai enlevé xp et rajouté un kubuntu.
je me souviend qu'il n'y a pas si longtemps je n'arrivais jamais en automatique installation a avoir plus deux deux distribution sur un meme pc

pense tu qu'il y ai possibilité d'arranger cela , sinon ce que nous faisons est voué a etre en partie perdue sauf mon apprentissage s'il en est,
car je devrai réinstaller pour retrouver ma connection, avec cette vitesse je ne peux faire les mises a jour . c'est tout juste asser pour le navigateur !

puis je faire un copier collé de la config de connection depuis le live cd, mais pour y arriver si c'est possible , j'aurai bien besoin d'une main de guide pour me conduire dans ce dédale.

il doit bien y avoir de fichier qui gere la connection.
a mon avis avec le changement d'adresse le systeme a reconfiguré certain parametres et il n'est pas tres stable vis a vis de wifi, des qu'il y a un probleme il saute sur la connection filaire et donc fait un transit lorsqu'il y a wifi, au début j'ai eu a reinstaller souvent a cause de cela, je ne suis pas du tout certain de ma theorie mais j'avais constatté que lorsque je perdais la vitesse et que je recherchai a faire la réparation je voyais que la connection étais comme reglée sur le reseau filaire !!!
n'y connaissant pas assez j'abandonnais et je réinstallais , je n'ai pas le choix dans ces situations

oui oui c'est big brother , et on ne s'en rend pas compte le plus souvent , mais il est là .;)

Par contre pour le problème ci-dessus, avant de faire les modifs des menu.lst, n'oublie pas d'exécuter les commandes listées post #32 :

Il nous reste encore qq chose à  faire.
Il est necessaire maintenant de faire booter séparément chaque système et donc de créer le grub loader sur chaque partition concernée :
Tu lances :
sudo grub   --> grub>
là  tu tapes :
find /boot/grub/menu.lst  --> te donne toutes les install de grub. devrait donner :
(hd0,0)
(hd0,1)
(hd1,5)
là  tu tapes les commandes suivantes :
setup (hd0,0) (hd0,0)
setup (hd0,1) (hd0,1)   
setup (hd1,5) (hd1,5)

tu termines par
quit

Si tu parles des menu.lst, tu sauves l'existant et tu remplaces par ce qui est écrit

ok je viens de terminer le poste et les commandes suivantes

 sudo grub   --> grub>

je te remercie de m'avoir si bien aidé avec ce probleme de grub.
pourrais tu m'expliqué le pourquoi d'un tel caffouillage dans les menu.lst.
ais je , ou n'ais je pas fais les installation correctement lorsqu'il y a plus d'un OS.
et si je dois réinstaller l'un ou l'autre , vais je avoir a faire des modif des menus ?
le probleme de connection se retrouve sur chaque distrbution, je ne sais pas comment résoudre ce probleme, j'y avais déja consacré beaucoup de temps en consultant les forums , mais sans trouver de solution, ca me desespere, meme pas fini avec un trouble que deja le suivant est dans la boite

Pour tester, il ne te reste plus qu'à choisir de booter sur tes différentes install pour voir si ça fonctionne et ensuite tu peux tenter de te ballader d'un grub à l'autre en choisissant par exemple depuis sda2 de lancer sda1 et là de lancer sdb6 et de revenir vers sda2. C'est une idée.

Le plus important étant déjà de pouvoir booter les trois installs.

En fait je ne pensait pas que grub mettait un tel bazard, mais si c'est le cas et si tu réinstalles un de tes systèmes, il doit te proposer d'ajouter ou non des systèmes à booter.
Dans ce cas tu n'ajoutes rien et ensuite tu fais "à la main" comme on vient de faire.

Le mieux étant de garder ton menu.lst avant de réinstaller puis de l'adapter ensuite.

Est-ce que tout fonctionne ?

ca semble trs confortable de pouvoir choisir l'install par defaut, mais comment tu envisage cette manip de ballade d'un grub a l'autre, j'ai pas saisi la

j'en suis a 4kgoctet/s

il ne me propose rien en version alternate, c'est pas des cd desktop,

je fais un retour sur ma ubuntu préférée , et je te dis si ca marche , mais jusqu'a présent tout semble etre dans l'ordre d'une bonne rectification faite par le grand gourou.
dommage que linux n'a pas tenu sa config du wifi

suis sur sda1 ubuntu pas de probleme pour booter, super

Pour être concret :

Au boot (grub sda2), tu choisis :
1) Ubuntu sur /dev/sda1 qui doit t'être proposé en position 4
là tu devrais avoir un nouveau menu grub (celui de sda1)
là tu choisis :
2) Ubuntu sur /dev/sdb6 qui doit t'être proposé en position 5
là tu devrais avoir un nouveau menu grub (celui de sdb6)
là tu choisis :
3) Ubuntu sur /dev/sda2 qui doit t'être proposé en position 5
et la boucle est bouclée. Tu as fais un grub de tour

Tu valideras ainsi tes différents menus.

Le but étant ensuite de revenir au point :
1) et là choisir de lancer Ubuntu (le premier choix du menu) et ainsi de suite pour les autres.
Ok ?
